The following anti-Semitic hate incidents all occurred within 2015 — and as HuffPost’s own search engine proves, it ignored every one of them.
Many of these hate incidents were witnessed, and/or were documented on surveillancevideo. This is important to consider, given the fact that as documented here, HuffPost reflexively publishes on its front page proof-less allegations of hate crimes against people in its Favored groups. Worse, as documented in our Fake hate crimes roster, many of these alleged hate crimes later turned out to be hoaxes — but HuffPost either ignored or downplayed these revelations.

Addendum: February 2017 report reveals that anti-Semitism is at the highest level ever recorded
Preface: A 2015 ADL audit showed a dramatic increase in anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. in 2014; “a particularly violent year for Jews”
The total number of anti-Semitic incidents in the United States increased by 21 percent in 2014 in a year marked by a violent anti-Semitic shooting attack targeting Jewish community buildings in Kansas and anti-Jewish expressions linked to the war in Gaza.
The Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents, issued today, counted a total of 912 anti-Semitic incidents across the U.S. during the 2014 calendar year. This represents a 21 percent increase from the 751 incidents reported during the same period in 2013, and is the first time in nearly a decade of declines where the overall number of incidents has substantially risen.
(1) August 2014, Miami, FL: Days after swastikas and pro-Hamas graffiti was found on a Miami synagogue and nearby homes, a rabbi was murdered in the street
On July 27-28, 2014, anti-Semitic and pro-Hamas graffiti was found on Congregation Torah Ve’emunah and several homes in northwest Miami, FL. Here is a local news report:
The shooting victim, Joseph Raksin, was walking eastbound on Northeast 175th Street and Eighth Court at about 9 a.m. when he was confronted by two young men. Following an altercation, Raksin was shot by one of the men, police said.
It’s unclear how many shots were fired at Raksin. But the New York rabbi’s critical wounds prompted authorities to airlift him to the Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died. A funeral is planned for Sunday afternoon.
HuffPost’s search engine proves it virtually ignored this story.
A January 6, 2017 search using the string “Rabbi Joseph Raksin” shows that HuffPost ignored the story until August 12, and then, only posted a Reuters wire story — but not on its front page.
Thus, to anyone who gets their news from HuffPost’s front page, they would have no idea that Rabbi Raskin was murdered, or that it occurred only days after a string of anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas graffiti was posted in the area.
Instead, here is a sampling of the “news” stories that HuffPost published on its front page in the three days after Miami Herald broke the story, on August 10-12, 2014:
Did HuffPost ignore the story of the Hamas graffiti at the Miami synagogue, and Rabbi Raskin’s murder, days later, because it became the de facto mouthpiece of Hamas in America?
(2) January 2015, Washington, DC: Jewish business owner received death threats by ISIS terrorists
A Washington, D.C., business has become a target for anti-Semitic threats, both verbal and digital. The threats come from individuals that identify themselves as Islamic State militants and could be coming from outside of the country.
With recent attacks in Paris that were carried out by radical Islamists has left the owner and employees working in fear. The Jewish business owner, who was not identified due to the sensitive nature of the case, said that he hopes that those calling and threatening are “just bored.” He said he worries that the harassers might want to do more.
The case has been passed back and forth between the Washington, D.C., police and the Department of Homeland Security. While the calls can be traced, Verizon has been less than helpful thus far.
A Jewish fraternity at UC Davis was defaced with swastikas over the weekend, spurring outrage and accusations on the Northern California campus. The vandalism, still under investigation by police, appears to have occurred sometime overnight Friday before members of Alpha Epsilon Pi awoke Saturday and reported the crime. UC Davis officials condemned the vandalism as “an affront to us all.”
“This kind of behavior is not only repugnant and a gross violation of the values our university holds dear, it is unacceptable and must not be tolerated on our campus or anywhere else,” Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi and other UC Davis officials said in a written statement. Fraternity leaders told CBS13 in Sacramento that they believed the swastikas were painted in retaliation for the fraternity’s support for Israel. A student government body at the university called last week on the University of California Board of Regents to divest from “corporations that aid in the Israeli occupation of Palestine and illegal settlements in Palestinian territories.”
A Jewish family in California has been gripped with fear after discovering their property was defaced with swastikas during the Passover holiday.
According to The Blaze, the electricity to Israel Dahan’s Mira Mesa home was turned off on Sunday night. When the father of three went outside to investigate, he discovered that his garage and vehicle had been spray painted with swastikas.
“In Jewish history, [swastikas] mean someone wants to kill us,” Dahan explained to KSWB. According to Dahan, the family had recently moved to the United States from Israel to provide his daughters a better life. Local reporter Dan Haggerty tweeted photos of the attack, adding that the couple’s three daughters currently sleep in one room – while their concerned father keeps a knife under his bed.
A student leader at Stanford University, was asked by a campus group about how her Jewish faith would impact her actions regarding Israel in the Student Senate, prompting allegations of antisemitism and an Anti-Defamation League inquiry, a campus publication reported.
As part of her campaign for student senate, Molly Horwitz applied for as many student group endorsements as possible, since an endorsement from each group would effectively secure their members’ votes for her candidacy. The Students of Color Coalition (SOCC) endorsement is the most-sought after, due to its large size and vast influence, as well as the fact that it campaigns tirelessly for the candidates it endorses, according to the report.
For days, the charred school bus sat in front of a Jewish girls’ school in Brooklyn, its ruined hulk posing a troubling question: Has the quarter-century of peace between blacks and Jews in Crown Heights begun to fray?
Twenty five years ago this August, the neighborhood’s black residents exploded into days of rioting after a 7-year-old boy, the son of Guyanese immigrants, was accidentally struck and killed by a car in the motorcade of the leader of the Lubavitcher sect. A rabbinical student was stabbed and died. Many people were beaten. Vehicles were flipped and burned.
Those tensions were supposed to have melted away a long time ago, but last Sunday afternoon a group of boys, all black, went aboard an unlocked bus parked in front of the Bnos Chomesh Academy, set fire to the seats and ran. Flames consumed the bus in minutes.
An arrest has been made in the murder of a Jewish jeweler in Queens in June, police announced Thursday, after a lack of leads led the family to offer a reward to find the perpetrator. The New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested Metropolitan Transport Authority (MTA) driver Charles Jordan, 46, of Valley Stream, Long Island on Thursday, after he was linked to surveillance footage of the murder of Aron Aranbayev. Jordan allegedly ran over Aranbayev after getting frustrated that the latter was in his way, according to the New York Daily News.
Aranbayev had just been dropped off near his Forest Hills home when Jordan ran him over in a dark-colored Dodge Magnum – on purpose. Aranbayev cracked his skull on the pavement, and died in a Jamaica hospital the next day.
Van Buren County sheriff’s deputies are investigating vandalism and malicious destruction of property at a camp near South Haven. A swastika was spray painted on a sign to Camp Agudah, a Jewish summer camp for kids, in the late evening of Saturday or early morning hours of Sunday, July 26. Camp Agudah is in the 68000 block of C.R. 388 in Geneva Township, just east of South Haven.
The suspects also damaged a vehicle, the building and a picnic table, according to police.Deputies believe more than one suspect is involved. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
More than 100 headstones were toppled at a historic Jewish cemetery in Philadelphia. The groundskeeper of Adath Jeshurun Cemetery arrived around 6 a.m. Thursday to the burial ground along Bridge Street in the city’s Frankford section to find dozens of grave markers knocked down.
“The thought went through my mind, ‘this is a disgrace for somebody to do something like this,'” said groundskeeper Johnny Gibson, who has worked at the cemetery for 44 years. The vandals knocked down 124 headstones, but didn’t leave any marking or graffiti, said Gibson.
A Molotov cocktail was hurled at two Israeli rabbinical students as they walked in Midtown, and cops are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime, said law-enforcement sources and witnesses Sunday. The unidentified attacker hurled a glass Snapple bottle filled with some type of accelerant at Yosef Rachimi and Yisrael Gadasi, both 19, near the corner of West 37th Street and Ninth Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Friday, sources said.
“I’m in complete shock,” Rachimi told The Post through a translator Sunday. “In 2015, an explosive bottle was thrown at a Jew in the streets of New York.”
The NYPD has arrested two teenagers for throwing bottle caps at an Orthodox Jewish woman in the Kensington section of Brooklyn on Saturday, police officials told JP.
The 22-year-old woman was walking on the street while pushing a carriage with a baby inside when several objects were thrown towards her from Bangladesh Muslim mosque, located at 105 Cortelyou Rd in Brooklyn. She also heard some people laughing from behind her as she was targeted, police sources said. Fortunately, the mother and child were not hurt. A police report was filed right after Shabbos.
A man yelled that he was “fed up with Jews” while being handcuffed by police following an attack on a Hasidic man heading to a local synagogue in Brooklyn, authorities and witnesses say.
Christian Rojas, 36, was cuffed after the attack on Lefferts Avenue in Crown Heights around 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the NYPD. Charges for the man weren’t immediately available.
Authorities say the victim was dressed in traditional Hasidic garb and was reading a prayer from his phone when Rojas allegedly approached. The attacker knocked the phone out of the victim’s hand and punched him in the face. A woman who saw the attack and later called 911 described it to NBC 4 New York as “relentless.”
A witness who only gave her name as Sarah said Rojas screamed, “Watch this face, I’ll be back” and “I hate all Jews.”
The manager of a Jewish bookstore on the Upper West Side of Manhattan was beaten up Monday afternoon by a self-declared Muslim man who threatened to kill him, New York Police Department officials told Jewish politics blog JP Updates.
Brooklyn native Salmon Salczer, 52, was inside West Side Judaica, when he saw a man pacing outside and peering into the store’s window. When Salczer approached the man to see what he wanted, the suspect punched him in the face repeatedly, while yelling, “F*** you Jews. I’ll kill you; I’m a Muslim!” According to JP Updates, Salczer said he feared the attacker would strike him with a metal razer scooter he was holding. The suspect is believed to have later used the scooter to flee the scene. According to police, he is still on the loose.
Salczer called authorities and filed a police report. Detectives from the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force are now investigating the incident as a hate crime.
An arsonist targeting Jewish-owned homes in and around Forest Hills, Queens has struck again. The latest fire happened at 12:30 a.m. Sunday on 69th Road. According to the NYPD, it is the same home construction site that was set on fire in the middle of November. This time the house was destroyed.
Five other suspected arson fires happened in November and October within a few blocks of the latest fire – all at construction sites, police said. A community of Bukharian Jews have been knocking down smaller homes and building so-called McMansions in the area. The sect of Jews is from Central Asia.
Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, a large number of them have immigrated into the United States and many have settled in the Forest Hills area. Officials released surveillance video of the suspect believed to be responsible for the fires. All of the homes were empty when the fires started.
The Chassidic man showing off his bruises after he was beaten up by a “Arab looking man” who demanded the Jew get up from his seat in Manhattan’s L’oreal Building.[…]
“He punched me in the neck and there was security [there] and nobody interfered. They were just watching,” said the victim, who asked to remain anonymous. “I got bruised… and security didn’t even call 911, nothing. They’re just standing there and watching.”
Yoni Davidov, who witnessed the attack from a nearby coffee shop, told The Algemeiner, “It bothered me that no one attended to the man. People were just watching. [They] didn’t do anything. It was also shocking to me how everyone in the lobby and in the adjacent Starbucks was sitting quietly and no one even called the police or offered the man any help.”
A 60-year-old Jewish man was beaten to the ground and robbed in an early Monday morning attack in Brooklyn that was captured on surveillance video, officials said. The victim was walking on the sidewalk Avenue M near East 8th Street in Midwood just before 1 a.m. when the attacker approached him from behind and punched him in the face multiple times, according to police. Surveillance video shows the struggling man down on the ground being repeatedly hit in the face by his hooded attacker.
A gang of anti-Semitic thugs roughed up a Jewish man and his wife on the Upper East Side on Monday evening before fleeing in cars flying Palestinian flags, police sources told The Post.
Two cars and multiple motorcycles pulled up to the couple on East 63rd Street near Third Avenue just after 8 p.m., and the assailants began yelling “anti-Jewish statements,” the sources said.
One of the goons threw a water bottle that hit the wife, and the 27-year-old husband was punched in the side of his head when he came to her defense, according to law enforcement sources.
Police sources said the creeps then raced back to their waiting vehicles, some of which bore Palestinian flags, and took off.
The proof that HuffPost ignored this story: A February 26, 2017 search using the string “Brooklyn Jewish couple attacked Palestinian flag August 2014” returned zero results. Instead, here is a sampling of the “news” stories that appeared on HuffPost’s front page from August 27-29, 2014 (three days after the NY Post article was published):
This “news” story appeared on HuffPost’s front page on August 29, 2014.
The search is on in New Castle County, Delaware, for vandals who caused a lot of damage at a Jewish cemetery there. The Machzikey Hadas Cemetery is small, but very important to loved ones.
Vandals went on a rampage there, turning over and damaging almost 20 headstones and other sacred artifacts here. It left neighbors shaking their heads in disgust. “Probably don’t have a heart. They have disrespect,” said Bruce Capron.
The damage was discovered by neighbors Sunday morning. 18 stones were pushed over. One was broken, along with smashed pots and other artifacts. […]
There is a lot of history in the graveyard. Some of the damaged stones have been here for more than a hundred years.
(19) September 2015, Hebron, Israel: Five American Jewish students were attacked by Palestinian terrorists; HuffPost ignored — and instead gave three straight days of front-page sympathy to a man whose bachelor party was ruined
On September 3, 2015, the AP (its primary wire service) reported that five American students were attacked by Palestinian terrorists with firebombs:
Israeli authorities say five American students escaped serious harm after their car was firebombed in the volatile West Bank city of Hebron.
Officials said the ultra-Orthodox seminary students were on their way to pray at a holy site when they took a wrong turn and accidentally entered a Palestinian neighborhood. The car was pelted with stones and a firebomb and went up in flames.
Police said the students got out of the vehicle and were rescued by a Palestinian resident who alerted Israeli authorities to evacuate them. Two students were lightly wounded.
The Jerusalem Post Tweeted this picture of the remains of these students’ car:
Instead of publishing anything about this attack, for three straight days — September 5, 6 and 7, 2015 — HuffPost featured this sympathetic story on its front page:
Anti-Semitism in the UK reached “unprecedented” levels in 2016, after a rise of 36 percent in the number of incidents.
Following Thursday’s release of its annual figures, the Community Security Trust (CST) said there were now more than twice as many anti-Semitic incidents per month than four years ago, with the level of hatred eclipsing that seen during the Gaza War in 2014.
While charity bosses said incidents were now far more likely to be reported, they were nevertheless left gobsmacked by the huge and sustained increase, with 1,309 incidents reported last year – the highest on record.
This compares to 960 incidents in 2015 and 1,182 the year before, when Israel launched military action against militant groups in the Gaza Strip, provoking a strong backlash against Jewish communities across the world, something the charity called a “trigger event”.
But this is deceiving, because as shown in the link at left, when one hovers over that title, the link goes to a story in the Guardian (UK), nothing at HuffPost.
