And an example of how HuffPost completely ignores Jewish victims of Palestinian terrorism in general — while showering sympathy on non-human “victims” and criminals:

(1) HuffPost downplayed and whitewashed the murder of American teenager Ezra Schwartz by Palestinian terrorists.  Instead, it evoked sympathy on its front page for…

As documented here (and in this video), on November 19, 2015, Palestinian terrorists murdered Ezra Schwartz, an American teenager who was visiting Israel.  HuffPost briefly posted a story about a generic “American teen” who’d been killed in “Israel attacks” (by whom?), deliberately downplaying the fact that he’d been murdered by Palestinian terrorists.

In fact, HuffPost actually rewrote the wire headline provided by Reuters, to remove its explicit statement that this was a Palestinian terrorist attack.  HuffPost also never posted Ezra’s face, or a story that featured his name in the headline, as it does for human victims whom it feels are deserving (including Islamist terrorists), then quickly removed the story from its front page.

Instead, in the days following Ezra’s murder, here is a sampling of the graphic, sympathy-oriented stories that HuffPost published on its front page — some of which it left there for two, three or more days:

A story about abused puppies…

11-21-2015 Abused Puppies - no ezra - top

… and a sad “news” story of a model losing “followers” on social media, which ran on its front page for three days straight

21Nov HP weeps for star losing followers - DAY3

(2) HuffPost ignored the murder of an American rabbi and his wife by Palestinian terrorists. Instead, it evoked sympathy on its front page for…

Rabbi Eitam Henkin, was a 31-year-old American rabbi, and his wife, Na’ama, was a 30-year-old graphic artist.  On October 1, 2015, three weeks into the Third Intifada, the Henkins were driving home in Israel with their four small children. From out of the darkness, Palestinian terrorists emerged with machine guns, and murdered the Henkins in front of their kids.

As documented here (and in this video), HuffPost never published any mention of these murders on its front page.  Rather, in the following days, here is a sampling of the graphic, sympathy-oriented stories that HuffPost published on its front page — some of which it left there for two, three or more days:

A cat that was killed by a veterinarian…

10-02-2015 FPHL 07-34 - CAT KILLED - FACE

…a convicted murderer who was protesting his execution, which HuffPost featured on its front page for four straight days … [and whose name produces 467 returns in a search at HuffPost]…

… and hungry seals:

(3) HuffPost ignored an American peace activist who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists. Instead, it evoked sympathy on its front page for…

Richard Lakin was a 69-year-old American peace activist, who was severely wounded in a Palestinian terrorist attack in Israel on October 15, 2015.  He was left clinging to life after Palestinian terrorists shot him in the head, and stabbed him in the chest. He died two weeks later.

As documented here, HuffPost ignored the plight of Mr. Lakin and his family.  Rather, in the following days, here is a sampling of the graphic, sympathy-oriented stories that HuffPost published on its front page and World page — some of which it left there for two, three or more days:

Were you aware of “orgasm-inducing mushrooms” Neither were we.  But HuffPost was able to find this story, and gave it front-page coverage:

10-15-2015 FPHL 22-58 orgasm inducing mushrooms

HuffPost published on its World page this story, about some Cambodian families’ efforts to “cure” LGBT children:

10-14-2015 WPHL HP weeps for cambodia gays

Miraculously, HuffPost was able to find a “heartbreaking” story about a gorilla:

10-28-2015 FPHL 23-05 - HP weeps for gorilla

(4) HuffPost ignored a young Israeli Jewish woman who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist. Instead, it evoked sympathy on its front page for…

Hadar Buchris was a 21-year-old Jewish Israeli girl who studied theater, and had two goals in life: to travel to India and to get married.

While Hadar was sitting at a bus stop on November 22, 2015, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed her repeatedly in the face, head and chest. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but died a few hours later.

As documented here (and in this video), HuffPost completely ignored Hadar’s murder, her funeral, and the grief of her loved ones.

Rather, in the following days, here is a sampling of the graphic, sympathy-oriented stories that HuffPost published on its front page and World page — some of which it left there for two, three or more days:

A story about an abused puppy

11-24-2015 FPHL 22-13 - abused puppy

…a splash front page headline about Muslim refugees who are sewing their mouths shut

23Nov GROSSOUT - REFUGEES SEW MOUTHS SHUT - callout

…and a story about “Nola,” a rhino that died:

11-23-2015 FPHL 15-21 - White rhino died

Also contrast HuffPost’s treatment of Hadar to how it treated members of an all-girl Russian punk band, after they were arrested for barging into a famed orthodox church in Moscow, during services, then singing a vulgar song. HuffPost essentially went apoplectic over the plight of the band, Pussy Riot, and began a multi-year stream of more than a hundred sympathetic stories about these “victims,” including top-of-the-page splash headlines:

2012-08-17 WPHL Pussyriot convicted TOP STORY 925a

On one day alone, HuffPost had nine separate stories on its World page about Pussy Riot – at the same time:

2012-08-19 Wphls 1235a – 9 Refs to Pussyriot – Zero Israel by SaveTheWest

In fact, while a search of Hadar’s name at HuffPost yields zero results, a search of the term “pussy riot” returns 133,000 entries:

S2-94
