A 17-year-old Alabama high school student is in critical condition after being assaulted this weekend. According to Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson, Brian Ogle was assaulted in an Ace Hardware parking lot following Sylacauga High School’s homecoming game on Friday.
When authorities arrived on the scene, they discovered Ogle beaten and bleeding from the head.
Ogle’s mother, Brandi Allen, told police she believes the assault occurred after he posted a pro-police message to Facebook. “Instead of us planning for his 18th birthday, we’re here,” Allen told WBRC from the UAB Hospital on Sunday. “Why? Because he made a statement that he backs the blue? I’m still trying to understand how someone, no matter the color of their skin, can do this to another human being.”
Allen added that her son received “threatening messages” after making the post. “My son took it to the principal at Sylacauga High School and I commend him for that. He showed her the threats that were being made to him, but she told him there was nothing she could do. I’m appalled.”

Police could not be reached to verify his claim, but have confirmed that they have spoken to a 24-year-old victim who suffered broken bones. Video of the attack posted on the Internet received international coverage and condemnation. One arrest has been made and a police report says a second suspect is being sought. […]
“I didn’t see who hit me first. It was unprovoked,” said Barnes, struggling to speak clearly with his jaw wired shut. “I was knocked to one knee and took some big shots. I was just trying to plead my way out of it.”
A video released online shows rioters in Charlotte, North Carolina, attacking a military veteran and then shouting at him: “You’re in the danger zone, white boy!”
The video’s early seconds show a white man being attacked by two black rioters. The man eventually flees while holding a hand over his injured face, while onlookers jeer. After the man jogs off, somebody can be heard shouting “You’re in the danger zone, white boy!”
Since the video’s release, the white man in the video has been identified as David Palmer, a seven-year Army veteran who only returned to civilian life within the past year. The video was recorded the night of Sept. 21 and uploaded to YouTube shortly after.
Palmer’s sister, Ashley Brooke Warlick, has created a GoFundMe page for her brother, seeking to raise money for his medical and living expenses in the wake of the attack.

Four white 15-year-old Catholic schoolgirl friends laughing and chatting on their usual bus ride home were targeted in an unprovoked, racial attack that left them bloody and bruised, the teens told The Post Wednesday.
“Oh, white girl got money!” a young black man sitting with a friend commented as the girls travelled on the BX8 bus around 3 p.m. Tuesday after dismissal from St. Catharine’s Academy in the Pelham Gardens section of The Bronx.
Before they knew it, the boys called up some female friends, who boarded a few stops away — and the girls said the group punched and kicked them while grabbing clumps of their hair. […] Before they knew it, six to eight young black girls got on the bus and all hell broke loose.
“All I remember is seeing the bus doors open and these girls have me by the ankles,” LT said. “One of the guys had me by my hair and punched me in the jaw.” The driver stopped the bus in the middle of the block and when she opened the door, the gang escaped with a backpack, which contained an iPad and some cash, LT said. Cops busted a Queens man for trying to push a straphanger onto the subway tracks in Harlem and yelling, “I hate white people!” Police cuffed Gary Weeks, 51, of Wavecrest for the bizarre attack Monday at 2 p.m. at the 4-5-6 subway station at 125th St. and Lexington Ave., officials said.
The straphanger was waiting for a northbound train when Weeks walked up to him and tried to push him onto the tracks. The victim got away from Weeks, as other people started pointing and yelling at the attacker to simmer down.

“First they stole my yard sign, then I got a bigger sign,” said the Vietnam veteran, 72.

A 23-year-old woman shoved a geriatric man to the ground Thursday night during protests outside the Trump Hotel in New York City.
The woman, identified as Brooklyn resident Shacara McLaurin, allegedly pushed the older man to the ground after he yelled “All Lives Matter.” The incident happened around 10:45 pm, according to the Daily Mail.
An NYPD spokesperson said the man “suffered substantial pain and dizziness.”
The assailant was associated with Black Lives Matter and was noted for being an anti-bullying activist with the group Stomp Out Bullying.

Acting on an anonymous tip, Scottsburg police Tuesday arrested Angeliquca Tompkins, 19, and Matthew Terry, 20, both of Salem, on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
A casual perusal of Tompkins’ Facebook profile indicates that she is a virulent opponent of Trump, hates Christianity, and leans hard-left. Perhaps this is why HuffPost chose to completely ignore this crime.

Cincinnati police are looking into an incident involving a hate symbol painted on a sign at a local Jewish seminary. Authorities are investigating who spray painted a swastika on a sign at Hebrew Union College. Associate Dean Rabbi Ken Kanter calls the vandalism disturbing, but also offers some perspective.
“I think the placing of a swastika on a street sign, when we compare the events going on around the world, makes our little sign quite a minor nuisance rather than comparing it to events that have gone on all around our country and certainly around the world,” says Kanter. He says police were notified and responded right away. The image was quickly removed.

Investigators are looking into a Facebook Live video showing a group of people holding a young man hostage. Chicago police told FOX 32 that four people are currently in custody.
Chicago police were made aware of this video Tuesday afternoon. A young African American woman streamed the video live on Facebook showing at least four people holding a young white man hostage. The victim is repeatedly kicked and hit, his scalp is cut, all while he is tied up with his mouth taped shut.
At 6:48pm, also on January 4, the Daily Caller provided a partial transcript of the video, with more details:
At one point in the video, the primary assailant shouts at the bound man, “Fuck Donald Trump, nigga! Fuck white people, boy! Fuck white people, boy!” while he kicks him. At another point in the video, the perpetrators laugh about being reported to the police in response to a Facebook commenter claiming they’re going to be arrested. They also mock another commenter who said their torture was not funny — by claiming it is funny.
More videos emerged later on Wednesday of the crime. In one, the suspects threaten their victim with a knife and beat him before he was tied up. The victim can be heard screaming and pleaded with his attackers to stop. It ends with one of the attackers saying he’s going to “shank” the white male.

The story page shows that even though the videos contained explicit allegations that the perpetrators were beating the white male because he was white, and they hate white people, HuffPost put up a sub-headline that claimed, “It’s not clear why they targeted the victim”:

By 3:40am on January 6, HuffPost had completely removed this story from its front page. It also never published a story that contained the identities of the suspects, once they’d been identified, at 2:17pm on January 5:

On January 1, active-duty soldier Austin Freni was walking with his mother and girlfriend in South Philadelphia, PA after attending a folk festival. A mob became critical of his Army jacket, and began attacking him, as well as his mother and girlfriend. From the local Fox-TV affiliate:
A soldier’s mom is speaking out after a brutal attack on her son. The serviceman became a target for a violent group after the Mummers parade. He is now in the hospital with a long recovery ahead of him. “He’s such a good kid. He did not deserve this.” […]
“Group of 10-15 guys walked by me (making) derogatory comments towards Austin’s Army jacket,” she explained. Then she says one of the young men struck Austin before others piled on. “Me and his girlfriend tried pulling them off and they hit us . We got hit in the face. She got thrown in the street,” his mom explained “He’s got to get plates put in his jaw and his mouth will be wired shut for the next eight weeks.”

The shooting victim, Joseph Raksin, was walking eastbound on Northeast 175th Street and Eighth Court at about 9 a.m. when he was confronted by two young men. Following an altercation, Raksin was shot by one of the men, police said.
It’s unclear how many shots were fired at Raksin. But the New York rabbi’s critical wounds prompted authorities to airlift him to the Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died. A funeral is planned for Sunday afternoon.

Between January 3-6, 2017, the San Jose Mercury News and The Algemeiner, America’s largest online Jewish newspaper, reported nearly a dozen incidents of swastika graffiti near Stanford University campus.
Swastika-like symbols were discovered at five separate locations on the Stanford University campus, San Francisco news website The Mercury News reported.
According to the report, graffiti was part of a spate of a total of 10 cases of antisemitic vandalism in the vicinity of the school, including in residential areas. Police concluded that though the symbols were drawn incorrectly — with the lines turning in the wrong direction — they were intended to mimic the Nazi insignia, because one of them was accompanied by the words: “No Jews allowed.”

Within several hours, additional reports from NBC, CBS and other news bureaus reported that similar threats were phoned into Jewish schools and other facilities across the U.S. (*We say “approximately 12:30pm because, as shown in this screencap, taken at 5:30pm, Google indicated that the Jewish Press article was published 5 hours earlier).
Jewish community centers in a widespread number of American states were evacuated due to bomb threats on Monday morning, while across the ocean, the same phenomenon was taking place in London, England as well.
Jewish schools across the United Kingdom were placed on alert after bomb threats were called into metro London Jewish schools in Roehampton, Ilford and Brent on Monday morning. The schools were “warned” that explosive devices had been planted on the premises. Thorough searches were conducted at all three sites and other schools were placed on precautionary lock-downs until the “all clear” was received.
Bomb threats were also called in to a few non-Jewish schools as well, according to the British Jewish Chronicle news site.

At approximately 12:30pm on January 31, 2017, the Associated Press (AP), the Jerusalem Post and Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) reported that bomb threats had been phoned in to at least eleven Jewish facilities in seven U.S. states in recent hours, the latest in a month-long wave of such threats. NBC New York was the first national news outlet to cover it, at 12:47 PM:
Threats against Jewish community centers were reported in at least seven states Tuesday, forcing evacuations and prompting the FBI to launch an investigation into possible civil rights violations. It’s the latest in a series of threats, including bomb threats, at the centers in the last few weeks.
The Jewish Community Center Apachi Day Camp in Lake Zurich, Illinois, was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was phoned into the campus, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, NBC Chicago reported. The threat remains under investigation.
In an earlier incident, the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center in Albany, New York, was evacuated Tuesday morning after receiving a bomb threat, the second in the last two weeks, the Albany Times Union reported.
One minute later, at 12:48pm, the JTA reported that the number of bomb threats had grown to seventeen.

Swastikas were discovered last weekend at Stanford University for the second time in less than a month. “Several” swastikas were found on the buildings of the university graduate housing, known as Escondido Village, the Stanford Daily reported.
The Stanford University Department of Public Safety has been working on the case in cooperation with the Palo Alto police but has not yet named any suspects, the student daily newspaper reported.
At the end of December, during the university’s winter break, swastikas with inverted arms were drawn on campus buildings and signs and on buildings in Palo Alto, where the university is located, accompanied by phrases such as “No Jews allowed,” the Mercury News reported earlier this month.

The chief executive of a San Diego-area cybersecurity firm has resigned after threatening on Facebook to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump.
“I’m going to kill the president. Elect,” PacketSled President and CEO Matt Harrigan wrote on election night on his now-deleted Facebook page, according to screenshots posted on Reddit. When someone commented, “You just need to get high,” Mr. Harrigan responded, “Nope, getting a sniper rifle and perching myself where it counts. Find a bedroom in the White House that suits you, [expletive]. I’ll find you.”
Anyone who knows anything about HuffPost’s hyper-partisan bias for leftist political figures, and President Obama in particular, knows that if such a threat had been made against him, after being elected or re-elected, it would have gone on a “headline jihad” against not just the CEO, but against all conservatives and Republicans.
One recent example of this bias occurred on November 15, when HuffPost published at the top of its front page a story about an bureaucrat in a Clay, West Virginia government agency who was removed from her position after she posted an ugly insult against Michelle Obama on Facebook:

The 38 Texans who will vote are all Republicans, because Donald Trump won Texas, but they don’t have to vote for Trump. Michael Banerian wants to show that young adults still have faith in the political system, but he said his selection as one of Michigan’s 16 Electoral College voters has prompted emails urging him to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton and even threatening death.
On Dec. 19, the 22-year-old Banerian is scheduled to join 15 other Michiganians to cast their electoral votes for Republican President-elect Donald Trump. But Trump’s opponents have deluged Banerian and other GOP electors with pleas and nasty emails to reverse course and cast their ballots for Clinton, according to the Michigan Republican Party.
“You have people saying ‘you’re a hateful bigot, I hope you die,’ ” he said. “I’ve had people talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out. And I’ve received dozens and dozens of those emails. Even the non-threatening-my-life emails are very aggressive.”
Update 1: On November 30, CNN reported that Banerian filed a police report about the death threats he’d been receiving:
Michael Banerian, the youth vice-chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, will be one of his state’s 16 electors… said Wednesday that he has received death threats after being chosen to cast an Electoral College vote for his state in December.
He suggested people look up how the process works. “In the state of Michigan we have laws that prevent faithless electors. So, essentially what happens, if I tried to vote for somebody else, which, let me be clear, I don’t want to, but if I tried to, I would be removed and replaced by another elector. It’s a pointless endeavor,” he said.
Banerian told Keilar he had filed a police report. “I just had a very nice meeting with my local police department,” he said.

On January 16, 2017, it was announced that death threats compelled actress-singer Jennifer Holliday, who planned to perform for Trump’s inauguration, to drop out.
Jennifer Holliday pulled the plug on her inauguration performance because people threatened to kill her and her family … TMZ has learned. The “Dreamgirls” star agreed to sing at an inaugural event but did an about-face Saturday, saying she bailed because she was taking heat from the LGBT community.
But we’ve learned when her agent contacted the Inauguration Committee, he said the reason was death threats. We’re told the LGBT concerns were not even mentioned. A rep for Holliday told TMZ Monday … both the death threats and the LGBT reaction were factors in her decision.
The rep tells us, “It was all of those things. She wasn’t scared to perform. She didn’t want to put her family at risk based on the death threats and she also didn’t want to offend the LGBT community which was especially upset that a past ally would perform on a program with President-Elect Donald Trump.”

A Project Veritas journalist was invited by email to a DC Anti-Fascist Coalition meeting, which took place at a residence in Washington D.C. The discussion centered around disrupting the “Deploraball”, a large pro-Trump event at the National Press Club in D.C. scheduled the night before the inauguration.
“It would be really something if we could stop them from having the Deploraball at all,” one activist says in the video. “If you had a pint of butyric acid, I don’t care how big the building is, it is closing…” says Luke Kuhm. “And this stuff is like very efficient, it’s very very smelly and it lasts a long time. A little bit goes a long way,” Scott Green explained. They continued to discuss how to get butyric acid into the ventilation of the building and other ways to stop the event.
