Turkey is an unusual country, with half of its large territory in Europe, and half in the Middle East. Its population of 90 million people is 99% Muslim, of whom 75% are Turks, who live in the West, and 20% Kurds, who mainly live in the East. Turkey’s economy is growing by 4% in 2024, but inflation is 50%, as is the prime interest rate. The annual per capita GDP of about $10,000 is the 19th largest globally, but the unemployment rate is 9%.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (70) has been President for ten years, representing the Justice and Development Party, a radical Muslim party. He is a distinct contrast from the first President of modern Turkey, Kemal Mustafa Ataturk, who was President from 1923 to 1938. Ataturk created a modern secular state, but Erdoğan, who has spent the past ten years advancing Turkey’s economy, turned the country backward politically into an Islamic state (as did the failed Ottoman regime from 1300-1922).

In 1951, the US built the large Incirlik Air Base in central Turkey to project power against the Soviet Union and towards the Middle East. In 1952, at the height of the Cold War, Turkey joined NATO, along with its long-term Christian rival, Greece, strengthening NATO at that time from threats from the Soviet Union. Since then, Turkey has been protecting the Black Sea from Russian aggression and allowing NATO to operate out of the very large base in Incirlik.

Turkey is the only Muslim country in NATO and has long been a key ally and trading partner. However, relations with Turkey have deteriorated steadily in the past decade since the radical Muslim Erdoğan became President. Turkey can no longer be considered a friend of America and is more of a half-friend or “frenemy.” However, NATO does not want to kick Turkey out for fear it would join Russia.

Meanwhile, Turkey actively works with Qatar in support of the radical Sunni Muslim Brotherhood (MB), which also funds the construction of mosques and madrassas throughout Europe, the US, and Latin America. The Muslim Brotherhood has been fostering the expansion of Shariah law, as it was practiced in the 7th century, which contradicts almost all aspects of America’s Constitution and Bill of Rights. The Muslim Brotherhood should be considered a cultural terror organization, although it has led to the creation of numerous physical terror organizations such as Al Qaeda and ISIS, among others.

Turkey has become particularly problematic since Hamas’ horrific October 7, 2023 genocidal attack  – killing more than 1200 civilians and soldiers. Hamas, the Gaza branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, is supported by Erdoğan’s Turkey, which vehemently objects to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Gaza, where they have killed or captured some 30,000 Hamas terrorists  or approximately 75% of the 40,000 original terrorists at the beginning of the war.

Turkey has not only threatened to help save Hamas from defeat, but, preposterously, has also accused Israel of wanting to take over the Muslim world, including Turkey itself. We should recall, however, that in 1453, it was the Muslims who violently took over the Christian Byzantine Empire, which then became Turkey. Now, Erdogan calls for a radical Sunni Muslim axis to fight Israel.

What should the U.S. do to manage its relationship with problematic Muslim Brotherhood-supporting countries such as Turkey? What should America do to protect itself from the Muslim Brotherhood, which supports the Hamas Death Cult and has promised to kill everyone in Israel (“Death to Israel”) and everyone in America (“Death to America”)?

In broader terms, what should America and Christian Europe do to protect themselves from the radical Islamic threat to impose Islam on Christians, Jews, Hindus, and other “infidels”? Unchecked, Islamism is poised to take over and destroy most Christian countries over the next 100 years. The only remaining significant countries would probably be China, India, and Russia, all of whom would not hesitate to kill an unlimited number of Muslims to save their culture. It is time for the Western world to stand up and defend its rights, starting now!

Here are a few suggestions:

1) America should identify organizations and individuals promoting the Muslim Brotherhood agenda and designate them as foreign and domestic terrorists.

2) The US should pressure Turkey to stop funding the Muslim Brotherhood activities in Western countries.

3) America should monitor all mosques financed by Turkey, and then close all those preaching hatred of Christians and Jews.

4) The U.S. should forbid all American schools and politicians from taking any funds directly or indirectly from Turkey.5) America should pressure Turkey to end its illegal occupation of northern Cyprus.

6) America should support the establishment of a Kurdish state in eastern Turkey.

7) The US should close all fake media from Turkey.None of these suggestions are easy to implement, but the Western world must make its final stand for survival now.
