Introduction [UPDATED]
For the purposes of this document, we define “ignore” as:
(1) Completely ignoring these hate crimes, as in, never publishing a single item about them
(2) Ignoring them while they were being reported in other media, then giving them only brief, downplayed, sanitized* coverage on the front page, after which they were removed
* “Sanitized,” meaning, never posting human faces associated with the story, or assigning a reporter to tell the “human side” of the story, as it almost invariably does with allegations of hate incidents against Muslims. Downplayed, meaning, these stories were buried beneath items expressing sympathy for sad celebrities, farm animals, etc. Details below.
HuffPost’s almost-complete blackout of hate crimes against Jews is particularly notable given the following facts:
HuffPost rushes to post on its front page articles regarding seemingly every allegation of a hate crime or incident against Muslims, where they often remain for two, three or more days in a row. HuffPost even set up an entire sub-site, “Islamophobia,” to house these incidents — yet created no similar sub-site to track hate incidents against Jews, who are far more likely to be victims of hate crimes than Muslims in America (details below).
Often, HuffPost assigns reporters to write original stories about these incidents, which it supplements with pictures of the victims — in contrast to its standard practice of only posting wire service copy of hate crimes against Jews, which almost invariably never contain the human face(s) of the victims(s).
HuffPost used active and passive means to help legitimize numerous fake hate crimes against Muslims, a number of which went viral, globally. Then, when the fact that they were hoaxes became inescapable, it quietly removed these stories from its front page, but did not post new stories to notify its readers that they had been duped.
HuffPost knows (or should know) that while Jews and Muslims have similar population sizes in America, Jews are 4-6 times more likely to be victims of (actual) hate crimes than Muslims.
It was only after November 2016 that HuffPost began paying some occasional attention to hate crimes against Jews — while implicitly or explicitly attributing them to Trump supporters. It did this despite the fact that:
The vast majority of hate crimes against Jews in the world, and in America, are being perpetrated by radical Islamists and radical leftists — who, together, comprise what is referred to as the “leftist-Islamist convergence.”
UPDATE 1: We expanded our coverage to include anti-Semitic hate incidents outside of America, as HuffPost began giving top coverage to allegations of anti-Muslim hate incidents elsewhere
After SaveTheWest.com constructed this page, HuffPost began giving front-page, sympathetic, graphic coverage to stories about Muslims who were attacked in Canada, W. Europe, and Israel or the Palestinian-occupied territories. This necessarily expanded our coverage to include how many times HuffPost either completely ignored, or whitewashed and downplayed similar (and in most cases, far worse) stories of Jews who were attacked by radical Islamists in these regions. We indicate these incidents at periodic points in the Table of Contents.
UPDATE 2: Major new study confirms most anti-Semitic hate crimes are being perpetrated by radical Islamists and radical leftists
A new report, from the University of Oslo (Norway), confirms that most anti-Semitic hate crimes around the world are being perpetrated by radical Islamists and radical leftists. This flatly contradicts the narrative that HuffPost has been dishonestly pushing since the 2016 election, that anti-Semitic hate crimes are overwhelmingly perpetrated by conservatives and Trump supporters. To the contrary, in every incident we documented on this page and here, in which a perpetrator and motivation (or indicators of motivation) have been identified, not one has been a right-winger or Trump supporter.

1) Consistently giving front-page coverage to violent crimes that were allegedly perpetrated by Jewish civilians against Palestinians, even when there is no proof whatsoever to support these claims, or the evidence contradicts the allegations; examples 1, 2, 3
2) Evoking sympathy on its front page for Palestinians, Palestinian terrorists and Islamist terrorists in general
3) Almost invariably devoting front-page coverage to stories of alleged hate crimes against Muslims
Yet on May 24, 2017, when news broke that a Palestinian mob had burned down a Jewish school in Israel, HuffPost completely ignored the story, just as it ignores the vast majority of hate crimes against Jews.
It is for this reason that we are including this case study here (Update: Also see Case Studies 42-47, below).

EUROPE

We ordinarily wouldn’t include anti-Semitic hate crimes that occurred in W. Europe. But given that HuffPost consistently ignores the proliferation of horrific “honor crime” attacks perpetrated by fundamentalist Muslims in Western societies on disobedient females — a significant number of which involve throwing acid in their faces to permanently disfigure them — it was notable that on June 30, 2017, HuffPost published this story near the top of its front page, regarding such an attack on two Muslim females, in London, England: In stark contrast to this new precedent, our documentation shows that HuffPost consistently ignores, downplays or whitewashes all of the anti-Semitic hate crimes that have been perpetrated in W. Europe. Is it because the overwhelming majority of these hate crimes have been documented to be perpetrated by fundamentalist Muslims, or radical leftists, two of the groups whom it highly favors, and will go to greatlengths to protect, and for whom it will even do volunteer public relations?
Here are but a few recent examples of horrific, similar hate crimes against Jews in W. Europe (and Israel) that HuffPost ignored, or whitewashed and downplayed — and documentation of what it posted on its front page, instead, in the days following these attacks:

Also, being that the London attack disfigured several females’ faces, using a substance, it is also worth noting that in December 2014, a Palestinian terrorist threw a Moltov cocktail into a car being driven by a Jewish man and his 11-year-old daughter. The liquid flames exploded on her face, and she suffered horrific, disfiguring injuries. Yet HuffPost never published a single news story or dedicated editorial about this attack, or her plight:

Leonard J. Holtz was discussing the recent rash of vandalism in Jewish cemeteries Thursday when he stumbled upon a fresh example. Holtz, president of Congregation Ados Israel, discovered 15 monuments that had recently been knocked down in the congregation’s plot at Zion Hill Cemetery as he spoke about a similar incident nearby. […]
His frustration was palpable Thursday — the Holtz men have cared for those graves since his great-grandfather Herman came to Hartford after the Civil War. One of the damaged headstones bore a date from the late 19th century. […]
There have been two this week alone: Holtz surveyed his plot’s damage the day after 20 headstones were found tipped over at Dreyfus Lodge, another plot in Zion Hill.
“There are random stones turned over in the rest of cemetery, but none that have the scope of these,” said Hartford police Deputy Chief Brian Foley. “When you have 20 in a day in a specific area, that tends to ring of a targeted event.”

(2) January 2016, Ft. Wayne, IN: 55 headstones in Jewish cemetery vandalized
Sometime over the weekend of January 30-31, 2016, vandals struck a historic Jewish cemetery in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, knocking over 55 gravestones. From the local newspaper, the News-Sentinel:
Looking on Monday afternoon at the 55 gravestones knocked over, Dan Zweig, Fort Wayne Jewish Cemetery Association president, said it must have taken at least three people to topple each granite headstone.
Standing among the fallen stones in the 6400 block of Decatur Road, Zweig could only wonder why someone would do this. The cemetery is surrounded by a high fence, and the gate is kept locked at all times between visits from the grounds people or mourners for burials.
Zweig said the cemetery has never had anything like this happen before. His grandfather Sam Zweig was one of four founders of the cemetery.

A Jewish man was stabbed in the back in an apparently unprovoked attack in New York’s Crown Heights neighborhood on Wednesday morning. The victim is in his 30s, and suffered from stab wounds to his upper back.
The attack occurred at a check cashing center at Kingston Ave and Empire Boulevard, according to the JP Updates site. The New York Police Department say they are searching for a black male who fled the scene immediately after the attack. Investigators now believe the incident was a hate crime.
A place of peace and quiet in Cedar Grove was vandalized, and police need your help finding the person(s) responsible. “It hasn’t been a good week,” said Herb Inselmen, caretaker at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
A little more than a week ago, a fence was torn apart at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. “They took one of the rails and stuck it into a gravesite,” said Inselmen. […]
The vandalism didn’t stop there. On Saturday night, April 9th, more damage was done. Nearly 40 headstones were pushed over — broken and dismantled. “This is deliberate,” said Inselmen.

(5) May 2016, Irvine, CA: Female Jewish student at the University of California – Irvine was chased out of a school-sanctioned event, and terrorized, by an anti-Israel mob
An event hosted by a pro-Israel student group ended abruptly Wednesday night as police were called to protect attendees from an angry mob that had gathered. One student who never made it inside the venue called 9-1-1 as she hid in fear from anti-Israel activists who chased her into a building on the University of California-Irvine campus.
Sophomore Eliana Kopley had just left a Holocaust-related event when she was walking toward the facility featuring a screening of “Beneath the Helmet,” a documentary about the Israel Defense Forces. As she arrived at the event hosted by Students Supporting Israel, Ms. Kopley was met by an angry crowd pounding on the doors and windows—engaged in violent chants targeting the Jewish state. “I was terrified. There is no other word to describe how I felt,” Ms. Kopley told the Haym Salomon Center.
An Orthodox Jewish woman and her six-year old child were attacked by stone-throwers in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, narrowly escaping injury. The incident took place on Nostrand Avenue near Avenue J at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Witnesses say two African American teenagers threw stones at a vehicle driven by an Orthodox Jewish woman while yelling anti-Semitic slurs. One of the vehicle’s windows was smashed, covering the woman’s small child with glass. However, no injuries were reported. The two assailants reportedly fled the scene after the attack. Local authorities were quickly called to the scene. New York police found security camera footage showing at least one of the attackers fleeing.

And according to the homeowner, Thomas Roszkowski, this was the latest in a string of vandalism that occurred at his home since he began displaying pro-Trump signs in his yard.
WASHINGTON — A supporter of President-elect Donald Trump found a swastika spray-painted on the front door of his Montgomery County, Maryland, home early Sunday morning and now police are investigating it as a possible case of “hate-biased” vandalism.
Thomas Roszkowski of the Four Corners area of Silver Spring, also reported to police an American flag that had been hanging from a tree in yard, had also been stolen. Roszkowski said he thinks the vandalism is connected to previous incidents, including the theft of a “Trump/Pence” election sign from his front yard late last month.
“First they stole my yard sign, then I got a bigger sign,” said the Vietnam veteran, 72.

Cincinnati police are looking into an incident involving a hate symbol painted on a sign at a local Jewish seminary. Authorities are investigating who spray painted a swastika on a sign at Hebrew Union College. Associate Dean Rabbi Ken Kanter calls the vandalism disturbing, but also offers some perspective.
“I think the placing of a swastika on a street sign, when we compare the events going on around the world, makes our little sign quite a minor nuisance rather than comparing it to events that have gone on all around our country and certainly around the world,” says Kanter. He says police were notified and responded right away. The image was quickly removed.

(11) January 2017, Stanford, CA: Ten instances of swastika graffiti at Stanford University, at least one accompanied with “No Jews allowed”
Between January 3-6, 2017, the San Jose Mercury News and The Algemeiner, America’s largest online Jewish newspaper, reported nearly a dozen incidents of swastika graffiti near Stanford University campus.
Swastika-like symbols were discovered at five separate locations on the Stanford University campus, San Francisco news website The Mercury News reported.
According to the report, graffiti was part of a spate of a total of 10 cases of antisemitic vandalism in the vicinity of the school, including in residential areas. Police concluded that though the symbols were drawn incorrectly — with the lines turning in the wrong direction — they were intended to mimic the Nazi insignia, because one of them was accompanied by the words: “No Jews allowed.”

At approximately 12:30pm* on January 9, 2017, the Jewish Press broke the story that bomb threats had been phoned in to numerous Jewish community centers in the Eastern U.S. and England. Within several hours, additional reports from NBC, CBS and other news bureaus reported that similar threats were phoned into Jewish schools and other facilities across the U.S. (*We say “approximately 12:30pm because, as shown in this screencap, taken at 5:30pm, Google indicated that the Jewish Press article was published 5 hours earlier).
Jewish community centers in a widespread number of American states were evacuated due to bomb threats on Monday morning, while across the ocean, the same phenomenon was taking place in London, England as well.
Jewish schools across the United Kingdom were placed on alert after bomb threats were called into metro London Jewish schools in Roehampton, Ilford and Brent on Monday morning. The schools were “warned” that explosive devices had been planted on the premises. Thorough searches were conducted at all three sites and other schools were placed on precautionary lock-downs until the “all clear” was received.
Bomb threats were also called in to a few non-Jewish schools as well, according to the British Jewish Chronicle news site.

At approximately 12:30pm on January 31, 2017, the Associated Press (AP), the Jerusalem Post and Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) reported that bomb threats had been phoned in to at least eleven Jewish facilities in seven U.S. states in recent hours, the latest in a month-long wave of such threats. NBC New York was the first national news outlet to cover it, at 12:47 PM:
Threats against Jewish community centers were reported in at least seven states Tuesday, forcing evacuations and prompting the FBI to launch an investigation into possible civil rights violations. It’s the latest in a series of threats, including bomb threats, at the centers in the last few weeks.
The Jewish Community Center Apachi Day Camp in Lake Zurich, Illinois, was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was phoned into the campus, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, NBC Chicago reported. The threat remains under investigation.
In an earlier incident, the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center in Albany, New York, was evacuated Tuesday morning after receiving a bomb threat, the second in the last two weeks, the Albany Times Union reported.
One minute later, at 12:48pm, the JTA reported that the number of bomb threats had grown to seventeen.

The Stanford University Department of Public Safety has been working on the case in cooperation with the Palo Alto police but has not yet named any suspects, the student daily newspaper reported.

On January 27, 2017, a Jewish student at Beloit College, an expensive liberal arts college in Wisconsin, was allegedly subjected to a direct threat by another student, because of her faith. The first report of this incident was published by the JTA on February 2:
A Jewish student at Beloit College in Wisconsin was targeted twice with anti-Semitic messages, including a threatening note. Last Friday, an anti-Semitic note was found under the door of the student’s dorm room, and earlier this month, a swastika was painted on a dry-erase board on her door, Rabbi Chesky Rothman, who runs a Jewish student center at the small liberal arts college with his wife, confirmed to JTA.
“K**e, You should be gassed for what you say & do on this campus. Be worried c**t,” the note read, according to an op-ed published by The Beloit College Round Table.

(18) February 2017, Chicago, IL: Famed Loop Synagogue defaced with swastikas, and front window smashed
The Chicago Loop Synagogue, founded in 1929, is famous for its architecture, stained glass windows, and its long service to the downtown Chicago Jews, especially professionals.
So when a vandal was caught on video, late at night on February 3, 2017, smashing the front window and posting swastikas, it garnered significant news and blog coverage, with 80,000 references to it via a Google search, by the morning of February 6, 2017.
A hate crime investigation is underway after the front window of the Chicago Loop Synagogue was smashed by one or more vandals who affixed swastikas to its front entrance early Saturday. Officers responded at 12:20 a.m. to a call of “criminal damage in progress” at the temple at 16 S. Clark St., according to Chicago Police.
A window had been broken and several “derogatory stickers” were placed on the front door, police said. Evidence technicians could be seen removing two swastikas from the glass. No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated the vandalism as a hate crime.
Addendum: On February 6, 2017, the Chicago Tribune announced that it was offering a $3,000 reward for information on the man caught on video perpetrating the hate crime.

(20) February 2017, Seattle, WA: Jewish student activists were illegitimately harassed by University of Washington administrators, and their pro-Israel display was vandalized
On February 14, 2017, Jewish students at the University of Washington set up a pro-Israel display in the common area that the administration had approved for such activity. Anti-Israel activists then set up a large “Israel Apartheid Wall” nearby, and began complaining to UW administrators that the pro-Israel display was too close to them, and was offensive. UW officials order the Jewish students to remove their display, but they refused, citing First Amendment protections.
Three of the Jewish students behind the display, Adam Rozen-Wheeler, Uri Zvi and Jessica Schwartz, were interviewed about this incident — and the vandalism of one of their signs — by the popular Israelly Cool blog:

Rozen-Wheeler was struck by the absurdity of the demand considering that SUPER-UW set up on Red Square well after CHAI-UW and deliberately chose to assemble their anti-Israel display near the pro-Israel table.
Recalled UW bio-engineering student Uri Zvi, “the pro-Palestinian group, with their offensive borderline antisemitic display, arrived after we did. They saw where we were located, which was far enough from their original location, but decided to bring their “wall” about 20 meters away from us and then complained that we were too close.” […]
“[T]hey [the anti-Israel group] complained to the university that our display is offensive and “triggers” them”. Noted Zvi, “our display was all about peace and coexistence, that the anti-Israel group found it offensive is a real self-indictment against them”. Soon after, a representative of the UW Student Activities Office arrived and told the Jewish students to pack up and move. They said that they had been inundated with dozens of complaints from SUPER-UW [the anti-Israel group] students and their allies.
The pro-Israel students refused to budge. Said Zvi, “the complaints were just because we are Jews that promote peace and oppose discrimination and hating narratives. “We firmly declined to take down or move our Israel display” said Rozen-Wheeler. “We told the staff from the Student Activities Office that “in America we have a right to free speech”. Added Zvi,”we were not going to be silenced by racists, especially when our message is coexistence, peace, facts, and chocolates.” The Office of Student Activities backed down.

The message of coexistence unfortunately was not absorbed by all. Late Friday morning the Israel education display was vandalized. According to UW student Jessica Schwartz who was manning the table at the time, “someone in a green hoodie and black backpack came past us and tore down our Pro-Israel, Pro-Palestine Pro-Peace poster and ran away”.
Lamented Schwartz “We have been tabling all week to promote dialogue, negotiations, and cooperation as the best path toward a peaceful solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. This man did not stop to talk to us and ask us what we were doing or what we believed in. He just came behind us, said “F*** you guys” and tore down our sign. Someone ran after the guy and brought back our sign.”

A pre-school teacher in Texas has been suspended from the classroom pending an investigation into her encouraging social media followers to “kill some Jews,”The Algemeiner has learned.
Nancy Salem, who teaches at The Children’s Courtyard in Arlington, as The Algemeiner first reported, was among 24 anti-Israel activists exposed last week by covert campus watchdog group Canary Mission for expressing racist and violent thoughts online.
Salem — an activist associated with the University of Texas at Arlington chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine and a supporter of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement — used her now-disabled Twitter account to post such remarks as: “How many Jews died in the Holocaust? Not enough…HAHAHAHA.”

Among those identified by the watchdog group, Canary Mission, one in which she said, “Gassed a Jew. I’m sweating. Heil.”

(23) February 2017, Minneapolis, MN: Student at University of Minnesota finds sign in room, labeled “Nazis rule,” with drawing of Jews being marched into gas chambers
A student at the University of Minnesota reported finding this drawing upon returning to his locked dorm room:
A rabbi at the University of Minnesota (UMN) told The Algemeiner on Thursday that he was disheartened but not surprised by the “disgusting” image of a Nazi gas chamber and crematorium scrawled on a Jewish student’s whiteboard, since “though such incidents used to be very rare, antisemitism on campus has been skyrocketing of late.”
Rabbi Yitzi Steiner, co-director of the Rohr Center for Jewish Student Life — the school’s Chabad house — was responding to the crude drawing of Jews being marched into Hitler’s ovens, over which smoke is seen billowing, left by someone who had broken in to the student’s locked dorm room.
“The fact that this sort of hatred exists on our campus is unacceptable, and is obviously a troubling issue that threatens the open dialogue and diversity that makes UMN such a special campus,” Steiner wrote on Facebook, telling The Algemeiner that he plans to discuss Thursday’s incident at Chabad’s Shabbat dinner, to which he has invited the president of the university.

Hate graffiti was found scrawled on a bridge in a park in Essex County, New Jersey, and the search is under way for the vandals who did it.
The South Orange community came together Tuesday evening to erase the hate. With candles and messages of peace, people gathered tonight on a bridge at South Mountain Reservation where just hours earlier, the walls were covered with messages of hate — several spray painted swastikas and words of intolerance.
“We’re appalled and we don’t stand for hate,” South Orange resident Kathy Greenstone told CBS2’s Tracee Carrasco. “We come together and we speak up about it.”
“We can’t let this become the normal,” Maplewood resident Nate Fisher added.

Ayman Elkasrawy, a teaching assistant at Ryerson University who called to “purify the al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews” during a sermon, has been dismissed by the university.
In a letter to B’nai Brith Canada, Ryerson President Mohamed Lachemi noted that Elkasrawy was “no longer employed by the university,” and added that “we remain actively engaged in addressing antisemitism in our community.” B’nai Brith had sent a letter demanding that Elkasrawy be fired on Feb. 21.
Elkasrawy, who worked within Ryerson’s Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science, delivered his inflammatory supplications at the Masjid Toronto Mosque in June of 2016. The mosque later issued an apology for his remarks.

On February 27, 2017, news broke that Lakeville South High School in Lakeview, Minnesota had been vandalized a swastika, racist and pro-KKK graffiti. Notorious leftist celebrities Shaun King and Sarah Silverman publicized the news, the latter of whom blamed it on Trump supporters. Soon after, however, the school issued a press release that it had determined that “a non-Caucasian student” was the perpetrator. As reported by the Daily Wire:
For the knee-jerk leftists (we won’t mention names such as Shaun King and Sarah Silverman) who immediately reacted to the discovery of a swastika on a bathroom stall in a Minnesota high school by insinuating white supremacists were at work again, or even as a result of the election of Donald Trump, not so fast.
The graffiti read, “Hail the Klu (sic) Klux Klan,” in addition to a racial slur containing the n-word next to two Nazi swastikas. That prompted King to tweet:
Silverman chimed in:
But now, a [March 2] statement from the Lakeville Area Public Schools revealed the perpetrator to be “non-Caucasian” with “significant special education needs.” The statement read:
On February 27, a LSHS staff member reported someone had written offensive words and images on bathroom stalls. A student subsequently was identified and will be subject to disciplinary action under school and district policy. Lakeville South High School administration received permission from the parent to share that the student is non-Caucasian and has significant special education needs. While this does not excuse the student’s actions, the District believes it will help the community and others put this incident into perspective.

On March 16, 2017, several stories appeared in national Jewish news media about virulently anti-Semitic flyers being distributed by an unnamed party in Chicago. The story broke at the JTA at 1:10pm. Then, four hours later, from the Chicago Sun-Times:
Dozens of anti-Semitic fliers were found in several buildings on the University of Illinois at Chicago campus Tuesday.
The fliers accused Jews of controlling a disproportionate amount of the wealth in the United States, stating “Ending white privilege starts with ending Jewish privilege.”
The fliers were found in the Richard J. Daley Library and in the campus student centers, according to Eva Zeltser, a communications student and president of Rohr Chabad, a Jewish student organization at UIC.
Zeltser said there were dozens of fliers in the multistory library.
“They were found by a handful on each floor, I can only estimate [there were] more than 100,” she said.

On Monday, multiple fliers posted by members of Vanguard America ― a white supremacy group ― were found on the University of Maryland Campus.
“A notice to all white Americans,” one flier read. “It is your civic duty to report any and all illegal aliens. …They are criminals. America is a white nation.”
“Carry the torch of your people,” another said. It was the third time in three months that fliers were found on the campus, according to The Washington Post.
Similar fliers were found the same day at George Washington University in D.C.

As Hanukkah draws to a close, a Chandler couple woke up to find their front-yard decoration celebrating the holiday had been turned into the universal symbol of hate.
Naomi Ellis said her husband, Seth, built the menorah after their three sons – ages 5, 7 and 9 – asked for holiday lights to celebrate the season.
“We live in a great neighborhood with kind and welcoming neighbors,” Ellis said. “We never would have imagined that someone would spread so much hate here.”
Friday morning, Ellis awoke to what she called a “horrible act of aggression.”
During the night, somebody destroyed the family’s menorah and turned it into a swastika.
“This clear act of hate and racism is disturbing and sad,” she said. “I broke down in tears waiting for the police to come and hoping that my kids would not be awake to see it.”

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of contorting a Chandler family’s decorative light-up menorah into a swastika in December.
Chandler police responded early on Dec. 30 after Naomi and Seth Ellis said they woke up to find a menorah, which they had placed in their front yard, disfigured overnight into the shape of a swastika.
Seth Ellis, who works in construction, had built the 8-foot-tall menorah out of PVC pipe. Ellis’ children had seen Christmas displays and had asked their father if they could have a display to celebrate their Jewish faith.
One of the suspects was identified by Chandler police as 19-year-old Clive Jamar Wilson. The other three suspects are male juveniles, according to Sgt. Daniel Mejia, Chandler police spokesman.
All four were arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass and aggravated criminal damage.
Clive Jamar Wilson, 19, the only adult charged in this hate crime.

(31) March 2017, Montreal, CA: Imam caught on video calling for Jews to be killed during sermon
On March 21, 2017, B’nai Brith Canada announced that it had filed a police complaint against a mosque, regarding a video that surfaced that showed one of its imams openly calling on attendees to murder Jews.
MONTREAL – B’nai Brith Canada has reported an incident involving yet another Montreal imam to the Hate Crimes Unit of the Montreal Police Service. As CIJNews reports, the imam was recorded delivering an antisemitic sermon and inciting violence against Jewish people.
In a speech delivered on Dec. 23, 2016 at the Dar al-Arkam mosque, Muhammad bin Musa al Nasr describes Jews as “the most evil of mankind” and as “human demons,” before quoting from the hadith: at “the end of time… the stone and the tree will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me – come and kill him!’”
In February, an imam at a different Montreal mosque was discovered to have promoted violence against the Jewish community during sermons he delivered. Montreal Police are still investigating the incident, and have yet to lay charges.
“It’s been 42 days since we filed a complaint about the last imam to promote such hatred, and Montreal police are still deciding whether calling on Allah to ‘destroy the accursed Jews’ is hate speech,” said Michael Mostyn, Chief Executive Officer of B’nai Brith Canada. “When will Canada finally recognize that we are not immune to racism and antisemitism, and that it is this type of rhetoric that directly leads to radicalization all over the world?”

A Montreal mosque is facing a police complaint and rebukes from the larger Muslim community after a video of an imam delivering a sermon in which he asks for Jews to be killed surfaced online.
The sermon took place at the Dar Al-Arqam Mosque in the city’s Saint-Michel neighbourhood on Dec. 23, 2016.
The video was posted to the mosque’s YouTube channel three days later. The imam in the video is Jordanian cleric Sheikh Muhammad bin Musa Al Nasr — he was reportedly an invited guest of the mosque.
In the video, the imam says in Arabic, “O Muslim, O servant of Allah, O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”
Part of the phrase references an Islamic hadith, which interprets the words and actions by the Prophet Muhammad.

Continuing the spree of attacks on Jewish cemeteries in the U.S. and W. Europe, on Friday, April 7, 2017 another attack was reported by the NY Daily News, perpetrated in Pennsylvania:
Dozens of tombstones were broken in half, toppled or otherwise vandalized at a Jewish cemetery in Pennsylvania, authorities said Friday.
Springfield resident Mora Ezra discovered the vandalism at the Mt. Sharon Cemetery while visiting her father’s grave on Friday afternoon, according to WCAU-TV.
Ezra told the local station that as many as 30 graves had been targeted. She documented the destruction and alerted the Springfield police department, which is investigating the incident.

The latest report issued by a covert campus watchdog group revealed a string of highly offensive social media statements made by students at six Cleveland schools over the past few years.
Tweet by Rahma Bakhshi, a junior at CSU majoring in information science. He previously attended Tri-C. As of 2015, Bakshi was employed as a Sales Consultant with AT&T Wireless, in Parma, Ohio:

The dossier, released on Thursday, highlighted dozens of antisemitic, homophobic and racist comments, including, “I’m gonna finish what Hitler started,” and “I’m bringing rocks to school…that Jew better run.”
According to the report, compiled by Canary Mission – which anonymously monitors anti-American, anti-Israel and antisemitic activity on US college campuses — the remarks were made by current and former students affiliated with branches of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and the Arab Student Union (ASU) at the Cleveland schools.

On April 16, news broke about a Jewish synagogue keeper who was beaten and robbed in New York, on the sixth day of Passover, that resulted in his hospitalization for a broken nose and other bruises.
A vicious robbery at a Brooklyn synagogue early Sunday morning sent one man to the hospital. At around 5 a.m., two men entered the Chabad Synagogue Beth Menachem Mendel located at 1703 Avenue J in Midwood.
Once the suspects were inside, they awoke a 53-year-old man on the third floor and hit him with a rotary cultivator garden tool over his face and head, police say. The suspects fled through the rear door with a laptop, cellphone and the victim’s wallet with approximately $300 and credit cards. Police say he also stole donations that were meant to be given to charity.
“I saw blood in the face,” one man said. “It’s terrible, terrible. The manager of the synagogue told me today that there was literally blood on the floor of the synagogue.” […]
This was the second time this synagogue has been robbed this year.

City Councilman David Greenfield is asking the Manhattan Democratic Party to boot a City Council candidate running on his opposition to “greedy Jewish landlords” off the party rolls.
Thomas Lopez-Pierre, who is challenging Councilman Mark Levine for a West Harlem seat, has drawn attention for a series of anti-Semitic comments and racial slurs.
Greenfield (D-Brooklyn) said election law allows Democratic officials to remove a member for “disloyalty” to the party, and the uptown candidate’s rhetoric should qualify.
“There’s no question that Lopez-Pierre’s campaign is based on good, old-fashioned, virulent anti-Semitism,” he said. “It is incumbent on our party leadership to oust him immediately and to make clear to all New Yorkers that Lopez-Pierre’s values are not Democratic values. Quite frankly, if Lopez-Pierre wants to run for City Council he should do so by petitioning his way onto the Ku Klux Klan party. His views are very much in line with David Duke’s.”

Thomas Lopez-Pierre, a Democrat who is running for City Council in New York, announced on Tuesday that his campaign is aimed at stopping ‘greedy Jewish landlords’ from ‘ethnic cleansing’ of black people.
Amid an outcry over the pledge, which was announced in a tweet, a GoFundMe appeal started called ‘Stop Thomas Lopez-Pierre Hate Campaign’ and received almost $6,000 in donations.

Palestinian arsonists burned down a Jewish religious school in Israel’s northern Samaria hills Monday, during a “Day of Rage” in support of an ongoing hunger strike by Palestinian terrorists in Israeli prisons.
The former Jewish community of Homesh, which was evacuated in 2005 as part of the Israeli government’s disengagement from Gaza and four communities in Judea and Samaria.
The arsonists entered the area surrounding Homesh Yeshiva and set the building alight. No injuries were reported. Officials from the school said they expect the IDF to bring the arsonists “to justice,” and vowed to build a larger structure at the same site to replace the destroyed building.
Jewish residents of Homesh were evicted and had their homes demolished in 2005 as part of the Israeli government’s unilateral disengagement from Gaza as well as four communities in Judea and Samaria.

GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. — Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after anti-Semitic graffiti was discovered at a Jewish summer camp in Goochland County.
The spray-painted graffiti was seen on an entrance sign at Camp Hilbert, according to camp leaders.
“We will work closely with Goochland officials to monitor the situation in hopes of a swift resolution,” camp director Josh Shenker said in an email. “We do believe this to be a localized and singular event.”

On the morning of June 28, 2017, one of the six glowing glass panels at Boston’s famed Holocaust Museum was shattered as a result of a vandal throwing a rock at it. The perpetrator was soon identified thanks to an eyewitness account, and arrested. From the Boston Herald:
A 21-year-old Roxbury man accused of shattering one of the glass panels at Boston’s downtown Holocaust museum was ordered held today by a judge.
James E. Isaac, 21, was arrested and charged with willful and malicious destruction of property and destruction of a place of memorial in connection with the incident shortly before 2 a.m., according to Boston police spokesman Officer Stephen McNulty. […]
The Memorial is designed around the six luminous glass towers, which symbolize the 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust, the names of the six main death camps, and the six years during which Adolf Hitler’s “Final Solution” took place from 1939-1945. Millions of numbers are etched on the glass, representing the tattoos etched on many of the victims’ arms. […]
Former Mayor Raymond Flynn called the crime, “tragic and senseless.”

On July 2, 2017, CBS News reported that a Holocaust memorial in Lakewood, NJ had been vandalized, apparently by a white supremacist, anti-Semitic group based in Pomona, CA, “BloodAndSoil” (run by Vanguard America):
Vandals posted a banner containing an anti-Jewish slur on a Holocaust memorial in front of a New Jersey shore town synagogue where several residents were recently accused of misrepresenting their incomes to improperly obtain public welfare benefits.
Photos posted online Sunday by the state chapter of the Anti-Defamation League show the covering on the memorial in Lakewood. A message on the covering included an ethnic slur for Jewish people and stated they “will not divide us,” along with the name of a group supposedly responsible for the covering.
State authorities announced Sunday they were offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to conviction of those responsible. […]
In another incident, anti-Semitic fliers referencing the recent arrests were placed on the windshields of dozens of cars in Lakewood. It wasn’t clear if the same people are responsible for both acts.

(42) April 2017, Paris, France: A fundamentalist Muslim savagely beat a 67-year-old Jewish woman in her third-floor apartment, then threw her off the balcony, to her death
Note: Also see Case Study 88 — another savage murder of a Jewish woman by a Muslim anti-Semite, in Paris. It wasn’t until HuffPost briefly published a whitewashed article about that victim, that it mentioned this victim’s name for the first time — but without identifying the fact that in both cases, the perpetrators were Muslim anti-Semites.
Sarah Halimi, 67
On April 5, 2017, fundamentalist Muslim Kobili Traore, a 27 year old immigrant from Mali, beat Jewish physician Sarah Halimi, 67, in her third-story Paris apartment. According to eyewitnesses and audio recordings, as Halimi was screaming for help, Traore was screaming “Allahu Akhbar!”
Numerous news reports also claimed that French police who arrived on scene heard Halimi’s screams, and Traore screaming “Allahu Akhbar!,” but refused to enter the apartment or intervene because they were concerned that this might be part of a larger terror attack. Instead, they opted to wait for specialized backup. During the interim, Traore threw Halimi off her balcony, to her death, three stories below. Halimi’s family is now suing the Paris prosecutor for neglect.
Worse, Halimi’s family now alleges they have the proof that, due to a politically-correct cover-up of previous Muslim attacks on Jews in France, by law enforcement, governmental and media organizations, Paris police were prevented from stopping the attack that took her — even though they could hear her screams, and those of her attacker, through her door:
“My sister was terribly afraid of this man, he had called her a ‘dirty Jew,’ but she was afraid that filing a complaint would be dangerous for her,” her brother William Attal explained in an interview with French news agency AFP following the family’s decision last week to take the case to the public prosecutor.
Attal said that the family’s goal was not to have the police condemned, but for Halimi’s murder to be legally tried as a hate crime. “Our struggle is for justice to recognize that this was an Islamist and antisemitic murder,” Attal declared.
Halimi’s killer, 27 year-old Malian immigrant Kobili Traore, broke into her apartment on April 7 just after 4 a.m. As he subjected Halimi — a 66-year-old former kindergarten teacher — to a savage beating, neighbors alerted police after hearing her screams. Officers who arrived at the scene just before 5 a.m. heard Traore shouting “Allahu Akhbar!” and “I have killed Shaitan!” (Arabic for ‘Satan’).
Fearing a terrorist attack was being planned, the officers called for backup. But by the time anti-terror units arrived, Traore had thrown Halimi’s fractured and bruised body out of the window of her third-floor apartment.

Addendum, March 28, 2018: HuffPost finally mentioned Halimi’s murder — but only as part of a story about another murder of an elderly Jewish woman in France, and in both cases, it omitted the fact that the perpetrators were Muslim anti-Semites
However, a March 28, 2018 search at 11:03am of the string “Sarah Halimi” returned two results:
The first is a reference to the story HuffPost published on March 28, 2018, documented in Case Study 88, about another elderly Jewish woman in France, an 85-year-old Holocaust survivor, by a Muslim anti-Semite, about whom she had complained and of whom she lived in fear. But HuffPost completely omitted the identity and motivation of the perpetrator.
The second is a reference to a story that contains “Sarah” and “Halimi,” but in completely separate contexts, discussing Holocaust figures.
These facts show that as of March 28, 2018 — nearly one full year after Halimi’s murder — HuffPost has still never published a single story that focused on this crime, who perpetrated it or why, or the exploding levels of hate and violence against Jews in France, by fundamentalist Muslims, whom the French government has been allowing to emigrate by the tens of thousands.
Further, as documented in this case study, HuffPost has been actively denying that France or Europe has a massive problem with Muslim anti-Semitism, and attacked one of the premier think tanks, the Gatestone Institute, which has been documenting it for years.
(43) October 2014, Jerusalem, Israel: A three-month-old American Jewish girl was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist
On October 22, 2014, a three-month-old American Jewish girl, Chaya Zissel Braun, who had been murdered by a Palestinian terrorist:

The story of Chaya’s murder was initially covered by Jewish publications throughout the U.S. and Israel, including the Jerusalem Post, the Algemeiner, and others.
The Daily Caller (a publication that HuffPost follows and cites when it can attack its founder, Tucker Carlson) was the first U.S. mainstream publication to report the story on October 22:
A Palestinian driver with a history of anti-Israel violence crashed into a crowded train station in Jerusalem on Wednesday in an apparent terrorist attack, killing a three-month old baby American girl and wounding eight Israelis. […]
“We look at this incident as a terrorist attack,” police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said. The driver, who lived in east Jerusalem in Silwan, appeared to deliberately strike those waiting at the train station. He “has served time in Israeli prison for terrorism.” He is in serious condition.
The infant, Chaya Zissel Braun, died later of her injuries, according to Haaretz. Her parents, both American citizens, were also injured in the attack.
Within hours, Hamas celebrated and justified the attack that killed Chaya:
[Chaya] flew 10-20 meters in the air before landing headfirst on the pavement, Shimshon Halperin said Wednesday night. Standing outside Hadassah University Medical Center on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus, after Chaya had died of intracranial bleeding Halperin explained how the driver from Silwan rammed a row of pedestrians, hitting Chaya’s stroller and sending her flying.
“This is a natural response to the crimes of the occupation and invasion of our land by the Jews,” Hamas spokesman Hossam Badran said in response to the attack.
The Post story also described an added aspect of this tragedy:
[…] Chaya had been born after her parents had tried for years to have a baby to no avail, said Halperin, adding that her parents were in shock, having just learned of her death.
Also, early the next day (October 23), the U.S. Department of State issued a press release condemning the attack, and indicating that Chaya was indeed a U.S. citizen:
The United States condemned as “despicable” a terror attack in Jerusalem that claimed the life of a 3-month-old girl. Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral late Wednesday night in Jerusalem for Chaya Zissel Braun, who is reported to be an American citizen. […]
Hours after the attack, the U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement, “The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s terrorist attack in Jerusalem. We express our deepest condolences to the family of the baby, reportedly an American citizen, who was killed in this despicable attack, and extend our prayers for a full recovery to those injured. We urge all sides to maintain calm and avoid escalating tensions in the wake of this incident.”
Soon after, the NY Daily News, another publication that HuffPost regularly cites, ran a story about Chaya’s murder, confirming that she was an American citizen:

(44) December 2014, El Matan, Israel: An 11-year-old Jewish girl’s face was horribly disfigured by burns as a result of a Palestinian terrorist throwing a Moltov cocktail at her father’s car
Ayala Shapira, before and after a Palestinian terrorist caused her severe facial burns.
On December 24, 2014, 11-year-old Ayala Shapira was riding in her father’s car, when a Palestinian terrorist threw a Moltov cocktail at them. The firebomb landed on her chest, and engulfed her face. Her story was first reported in America in the NY Daily News on December 26, 2014:
An 11-year-old Israeli girl was fighting for her life after someone tossed a Molotov cocktail into a car in the West Bank — leaving her with third-degree burns to half her body.
Ayala Shapira was riding with her dad, Avner, on a road near Palestinian villages Thursday evening when the attack suddenly turned the car into a ball of flames. Ayala was rushed to Sheba Medical Center for treatment of burns to her face and upper body, according to Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper. She was sedated and on a respirator, officials said.
The 40-year-old father survived with burns to his limbs, according to reports.
Israel Defense Forces soldiers were grilling a possible suspect late Thursday. Details about the man weren’t released.
Avner Shapira, enraged as he stood outside his daughter’s hospital room, said Arab terrorists were behind the attack.
“The man who did this was not a criminal, he was a terrorist,” the dad said, according to Arutz Sheva, also an Israeli newspaper. “He was a soldier of the Arab enemy, which is carrying out a war of annihilation against us. He was an agent of the Arab nation that sent him, as it sends many such soldiers, to kill us and evict us from our land.”
Also on December 26, 2014, only two days after the attack, the terrorists who perpetrated it were arrested by Israeli police:

In March 2017, Ayala testified before the European Parliament, which sends billions of Euros to the Palestinian Authority, which has been long documented to incite, justify and financially reward those who perpetrate these kinds of terrorist attacks on Jews, and compensate these terrorists’ families while they are in Israeli jails. In her testimony, Ayala pleaded with these bureaucrats to stop funding the Palestinian terrorism machinery:
I am Ayala, almost fourteen. I live in El Matan in the Shomron; I like to read, write stories and draw. I would like to describe to you what it feels like to have a terrorist attack directed at you.
The truth is, at the moment it happened I didn’t really understand what was happening. I saw a ball of light coming towards us. My father quickly stepped on the brakes. The ball of light shattered my window and landed between us. It was a Molotov cocktail. I remember that everything around us was burning. I thought I was going to die.
Afterwards, I started to act. I tried to open my door, but wasn’t able to. I was sure that the central door lock had melted in the heat, but then, my father opened the door from the other side. My entire left side was on fire, but I couldn’t free my seat belt with my left hand, so I put my right hand into the flames, too. Then, I just started running. My father told me to roll around on the road to put out the fire burning me.
I want you to remember that sometimes when you think you are contributing to a peaceful cause, you’re actually contributing to murder, pain and war.
Only then did I begin to feel pain. I told my father that his shirt was also on fire and I asked him to also roll around on the road, but he didn’t stop. He wanted to save me first.
I was hospitalized for eight months; that’s where I understood that my life was about to change drastically. Sometimes, I really miss being outside and feeling the sun and doing all the things I want to do. The hardest thing is when people look at me. I see it. I most appreciate the people who don’t try to hide it; they look at me but ask what happened to me – why am I all covered up?
One of the terrorists who threw the Molotov cocktail at our car was a sixteen year old boy – only a few years older than me. He did it, among other reasons, to help his family economically; he knew that if he is put into prison, the Palestinian Authority would take care of them.

On July 4, 2017, the terrorists who attacked Ayala and her father were sentenced to 18 years in prison:
The military court sentenced terrorist Mohammed Badwan, who threw a Molotov cocktail at a moving vehicle, to 18 years in prison for severely wounding Ayala Shapira in December 2014. Badwan is also required to pay the Shapira family a compensation of NIS 50,000, about $14,000.
Badwan had been convicted in the past for throwing another Molotov cocktail at a moving vehicle in November 2014, but the Israeli civilian in the vehicle was not injured.
Badwan was arrested on the day of the attack and has been under arrest since then. Fahmi Tabib, his accomplice and a minor at the time of the attack, was sentenced in August 2016 to 14 years’ imprisonment.
Given the detailed, pictorial, front-page coverage that HuffPost devoted to several Muslim females in London whose faces were disfigured in an acid attack, how much coverage did HuffPost devote to Ayala’s plight?
Zero.

(45) March 2012, Toulouse, France: Radical Islamist murdered four Jews, including a seven-year-old girl, who was shot point-blank in her head [UPDATED]

This is seven-year-old Miriam Monsonego, a Jewish girl in Toulouse, France. On March
On March 19, 2012, a radical Islamist went to the Jewish school she attended in Toulouse, grabbed her by her hair, put a .45 caliber pistol against her head and shot her. She died in her father’s arms, moments later.
Miriam was among four Jews who were murdered by the Islamist that day, including a rabbi and two other children. Notice that this story by Israel National News (Arutz Sheva) was published at 9:36am local time, meaning 2:36am EST (NY) time on March 19 — and that it featured Miriam’s picture at the top of the story:
On March 21, funerals were held for Miriam and the other three victims. Thousands of mourners attended, and heart-wrenching pictures of the events appeared in various world media, including the AP, Toronto Star, Times of Israel, and others.

(46) June 2016, Hebron, Israel: A Palestinian terrorist broke into a Jewish home and stabbed a 13-year-old girl to death
On June 30, 2016, Hallel Ariel, a 13-year-old Jewish girl was asleep in her bed, in an Israeli settlement near Hebron, of the disputed territories. She was then stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist who broke into their house. The UK Telegraph reported the story at 12:19pm local time, on June 30 (7:19 am EST, HuffPost time). Note that it featured the picture of Hallel in its headline:
A 13-year-old Israeli girl was stabbed to death in her bedroom yesterday by a Palestinian attacker who scaled a security fence and crept into the family home. Hallel Yaffe Ariel was murdered while she slept inside her house in Kiryat Arba, an Israeli settlement near Hebron in the occupied West Bank. […]
The killer, identified by Palestinian authorities as Mohammad Tra’ayra, a 19-year-old from a nearby village, entered Kiryat Arba early on Thursday and broke into the Ariels’ house.
He killed Hallel in her bed and photographs released by the Israeli military showed blood stained across the floor and mattress in the child’s room. “She was stabbed many, many times. Mostly in her back,” said a doctor at Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek hospital, where she was treated.

Note also that HuffPost’s version of the story did not feature a picture of Hallel, but instead, one of her a woman (her mother), who looks like she is either laughing, or crying, with a microphone:
A Palestinian fatally stabbed a 13-year-old Israeli girl in her bedroom in a settlement in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, the military said, as international sponsors of frozen peace talks prepared to issue a report on the impasse. Israeli guards in the settlement of Kiryat Arba shot the attacker dead and one member of the civilian armed response team was wounded, a military spokesman and a settler leader said.
The assailant was identified as a 19-year-old male from a nearby Palestinian village. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his home would be destroyed and permits enabling his relatives to work in Israel revoked. Netanyahu, in a statement, called on Palestinian leaders to condemn the attack and take immediate steps to stop what he described as incitement that Israel has cited as a main factor behind a string of assaults over the last nine months.
“The horrific murder of an innocent girl in her bed sheds light on the bloodlust and lack of humanity displayed by the terrorists we are facing,” he said.

(47) November 2015, Jerusalem, Israel: Palestinian terrorists stabbed to death a 22-year-old Jewish girl at a bus stop

This 21-year-old Jewish girl studied theater, and had two goals in life: to travel to India and to get married. Hadar completed a half-year trek through India in late 2015, and according to one of her closest friends, she “was already thinking of what names to give her future children.”
One of Hadar’s teachers described her as: “a fantastic, bright girl… she always created positive vibes around her friends. She was also a kind of ‘psychologist’ who would lend a sympathetic ear to whoever needed it.” Another of her friends described Hadar’s “beautiful spirit,” and how “she would start her day with a huge smile of optimism and love… a lioness in the midst of battle… (who) never gave in to sorrow or pain…”
While Hadar was sitting at a bus stop on November 22, 2015, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed her repeatedly in the face, head and chest. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but died a few hours later.
Magen David Adom paramedic Zaki Yahav, who was called to the scene, said, “A young woman was lying on the ground unconscious with stab wounds to her upper body.
“Civilians who were there had started to help stop [her] bleeding. We quickly put her into the ambulance and administered first aid while she was anesthetized and on a respirator while taking her to a hospital.”
Dr. Ofer Marin, head of the trauma unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where Buchris was taken, said her chances of survival had been slim.
“She sustained a great number of stab wounds, both to the head and in the chest and heart area, and arrived in critical condition, on a respirator, without a pulse,” Marin said. “The trauma unit made attempts to resuscitate her, but unfortunately we were forced to declare her dead. There was nothing we could do.”

The Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre (FSWC) has filed a hate-speech complaint with Toronto police about yet another imam who recently allegedly called for the elimination of Israelis and Jews at an annual protest known to promote anti-Semitism.
Maulana Syed Mohammad Zaki Baqri of the Pickering-based Council of Islamic Guidance and the corresponding Al Mahdi Centre allegedly told the June 24 Al Quds Day rally in a combination of English and Arabic that Jews and Israelis need to be eliminated for what they’ve apparently done to the people of Gaza.
“The systematic elimination of Jews … Israelis, Zionists should know … It is the law that whoever oppresses, he has to be eliminated. One day or another,” the imam is heard saying to the crowd, several of whom are waving anti-Israel placards.
FSWC CEO Avi Benlolo said the complaint was filed two weeks ago with Toronto police hate crimes unit after their staff videotaped the proceedings of the event, which occurred at the Toronto-owned park north of Wellesley St. and Queen’s Park proper. He said some 2,000 people attended, including students and youngsters.
Efforts to reach Baqri by phone and by e-mail at both the Council of Islamic Guidance and the Al Mahdi Centre were unsuccessful Thursday.

Last week, Egyptian-born American preacher Ammar Shahin delivered a Friday sermon at the Islamic Center of Davis, northern California, where he serves as Imam MEMRI reported.
In it he cited a hadith, according to which the Muslims would fight the Jews on Judgment Day, and prayed to Allah to “liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews” and to “annihilate them down to the very last one,” not sparing any of them. “Oh Allah, make this happen by our hands. Imam Shahin, who had earned a B.A. in Islamic studies in Egypt, traveled in 1999 to the U.S., where he obtained a degree in computer engineering. He is listed as an instructor of the Zidni Islamic Institute, a California-based organization that teaches Sunni Islam in the West.

The director of the Chabad center serving the University of California-Davis told The Algemeiner on Tuesday that he was “taking seriously” a Friday sermon made by the imam of the local mosque that some have called antisemitic.
Rabbi Shmary Brownstein said the comments from Ammar Shahin of the Islamic Center of Davis — which sits blocks away from Chabad of Davis — had “unacceptably advocated and incited hatred and violence against Jews” by praying that god would “liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews.” […]

A male wolf at a zoo in England is caring for his pups alone after their mother was tragically shot last week.
Ember, a female Eurasian wolf at Cotswold Wildlife Park in Bradwell Grove, Oxfordshire, was spotted outside the perimeter fence on July 21, the BBC reported Monday. The zoo said at the time that staff shot Ember as a matter of public safety because they were unable to tranquilize her.

A one-year-old Israeli child was injured Sunday when Arab stone-throwers attacked a passenger bus driving through Judea, south of Jerusalem.
The terrorists attacked several Israeli vehicles near the Jewish town of Karmei Tzur, off Route 60 at the southern edge of the Gush Etzion bloc.
One of the vehicles targeted was a Gush Etzion Regional Council bus, in which the one-year-old boy and his family were travelling.
A rock thrown by one of the terrorists smashed through one of the bus’ windows and struck the child, injuring him. Emergency medical responders treated the boy at the scene, then evacuated him to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem. He is listed in light condition.

Stone-throwing terrorists ambushed a civilian bus full of children leaving a protest rally on the ruins of the town of Sa-Nur in northern Samaria Thursday.
Arutz Sheva spoke with Rochel, the mother of 10 year old Shmuel-David, who was struck in the head by a large rock when the bus was attacked. Shmuel-David remains in the hospital for further treatment following the discovery of minor internal bleeding in his head.
“We were on our way to the center of the country. When we left Sa-Nur we passed an [Arab] village, and at the entrance to the village we saw that Arabs were burning tires, and we saw youths standing with rocks in their hands by the side of the road,” Rochel said. “The driver told us before we left that it was a very hostile village and we were going to be attacked by rock-throwers, so we knew what it was going to be like.” […]
The rioters then began to pelt the bus with large rocks. “It was very frightening. We heard rocks hitting the bus from all directions. We immediately calmed the children who could not stand and who were sitting. We thought that the missiles would not penetrate a protected bus.”
However, one rock did break through the reinforced glass windows and struck Rochel’s 10-year old son in the head. “Suddenly there was a loud boom. It was terrifying. We realized that something had happened, and immediately my son screamed. Most of the people on the bus were small children.”

Antisemitic messages and a swastika were spray-painted on the building and sign of a synagogue in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The messages were discovered on Friday morning at the Temple Beit Torah. In addition to the synagogue, nearby cars, homes and buildings also were vandalized, the Colorado Spring Gazette reported.
In addition to a swastika, the words “sig heil,” a misspelling of the Nazi salute sieg heil, was painted on the synagogue’s sign, according to the report. […]
There has been a significant increase in antisemitic acts in Colorado in the past two years, the local office of the Anti-Defamation League told the newspaper. An unnamed spokesman said that there were 18 acts of antisemitism in the area in 2015, and 45 last year.

Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance video urinating on a Northeast Philadelphia synagogue over the weekend.
The unidentified man first approached the front doors of the Congregation Beth Solomon on 198 Tomlinson Road Sunday at 12:30 a.m. Surveillance video shows the man pointing the middle finger towards the synagogue’s surveillance video camera. He then urinates on the walls and sidewalk directly in front of the building’s doors before fleeing in a white four-door sedan.
The Anti-Defamation League released a statement Monday condemning the vandalism.
“We are revolted by this most recent display of anti-Semitism in Northeast Philadelphia,” said Nancy K. Baron-Baer, ADL Regional Director. “We’ve seen vandalism targeting Jewish institutions in the region before, but this latest incident turns the stomach. The amount of hate a person must feel to desecrate a house of worship in this way is incomprehensible and contemptible.”

Police in Alameda are investigating what appears to be vandalism at Temple Israel in Alameda.
At about 6pm on Aug. 17, congregational president Genevieve Pastor-Cohen sent an email letter to the congregation stating, “in the morning, it was discovered that two classroom windows had been smashed,” and noting that police and Harbor Bay Security had been notified.
“During our Weds. Aug 16th Board of Directors meeting, we discussed the possibility of our synagogue being a target in our small town of Alameda especially with the ongoing expression of bigotry and anti-Semitism,” the letter continued. “It breaks my heart and soul to be exposed to this type of mindless and senseless action especially aimed at the community I (we) love.”
Congregant Mel Waldorf went to the synagogue after he received the email, and told J. that one of the windows that had been smashed “was where kids had painted Stars of David.”
He also said that another window that noted this was “the new Temple Israel” had been smashed, and he said that police took away a rock the assailants had used to try and smash in the front door.

(55) August 2017, Alameda, CA: Jewish teenager received text messages from other students containing anti-Semitic threats and hatred
Beginning in May 2017, the Jewish News of Northern California began a series of detailed exposes on rampant, escalating anti-Semitic hate crimes and violence in the area’s schools. One of these exposes focused on the the anti-Semitic threats and hate crimes that were perpetrated against 14-year-old Natasha Waldorf, then a freshman at Alameda High School.
HuffPost completelyignored all of these exposes. Then, on August 18, the Jewish News began published a follow-up on its investigation into the hate crimes and threats against Ms. Waldorf:
On Monday morning Aug. 21, 14-year-old Natasha Waldorf, who is Jewish, will start her sophomore year at Alameda High School.
In her class will be one of two boys who taunted her last semester, sending her text messages that included the word “kike” and other anti-Semitic insults, and the image of product mascot Mr. Clean in a Nazi uniform titled “Mr. Ethnic Cleansing.” In the halls she will pass two other students who taunted her that same week last January, joking about the Holocaust and, when confronted by Natasha, telling her that “Hitler should have finished the job.”
Alameda school authorities don’t deny that these incidents, reported in a J. cover story in May, indeed occurred. This week, Alameda Unified School District Superintendent Sean McPhetridge told J., and the parents by email, that the situation has been handled appropriately.
Natasha’s parents, however, say otherwise. And they want something done.
“They are not taking this seriously,” Natasha’s father, Mel Waldorf, told J. “These were threats. How is my daughter supposed to feel safe, with school starting Monday? How can [McPhetridge] say he’s protecting a student when the kids who did this don’t have to apologize and are sitting in her class for the rest of the year? It’s egregious.”
The Zionist Organization of America has taken up the case on behalf of Natasha and her family, alerting J. to the ongoing situation this week. The ZOA has been engaged since June in an email exchange with McPhetridge and with the high school’s principal, Robert Ithurburn, which now seems to have reached an impasse.

Three members of a prominent French Jewish family were kidnapped, tied up, brutally beaten and robbed on Thursday night in their home in the suburb of Livry-Gargan northeast of Paris, French authorities said Sunday.
According to the National Bureau for Vigilance against Anti-Semitism (BNVCA), three individuals broke into the house Roger Pinto, the president of the Siona group representing Sephardic Jews, by cutting through the home’s window bars. They then cut off the electricity in the house, tied up Pinto’s son, and held and beat his wife. It was only on Friday morning, several hours later, that Pinto managed to discreetly contact police, causing the intruders to flee.
According to the BNVCA report, the unidentified attackers told their victims, “You are Jewish, you have money.”
The assailants, black men in their 20s or 30s, according to the victims’ description, took jewelry, cash and credit cards.
The Pintos were taken to hospital for treatment. They suffered some minor injuries but were deeply traumatized, the report said.

The Jewish family subjected to a vicious assault and robbery by an antisemitic gang near Paris last week recounted their ordeal in interviews with French media outlets on Monday.
Roger Pinto, his wife Mireille, and their son David were taken hostage in their own home early in the morning of Friday, September 8, by three intruders identified as black men in their late 20s. The gang told the family members, “You are Jews, you have money,” as they tied them up and beat them.
On Monday, the Pinto family gave a full account of the terrifying episode. Early on Friday morning, David Pinto, 41, woke up to discover that the electricity was not working in the family home in the Livry-Gargan neighborhood of Paris. Going down into the basement to check the electricity meter, David opened a door which allowed the three assailants, who had set a trap by cutting off the electricity supply, to enter the house.
Having gagged David, the three men dragged him to the first floor of the house. There, they encountered his 73-year-old mother, Mireille, who managed to alert her husband, Roger, who is 83, before she too was grabbed by the gang. Mireille said that she was “caught and gagged” by the three men.
“As I struggled, the first man threw me down,” Mrs. Pinto said, in an interview quoted by the French Jewish newspaper Tribune Juive. “He hit me. I really thought he wanted to rape me. The second one kicked me.”
The gang also attacked Roger Pinto, beating him unconscious. Pinto said that as he regained awareness, he heard one of the gang members tell him, “You are Jewish, we know that the Jews have a lot of money and you will give us what you have. If you do not give us what we ask you, we’ll kill you.”
Roger Pinto continued: “The three men had a screwdriver and a knife, which they constantly threatened us with. They threatened to kill us. That was unbearable. These thugs took our credit cards, took all the goods we had, jewelry from my wife.”

In a series of posts on Twitter, Orthodox neighbourhood watch group Shomrim reported that the unnamed boy “ran home & up all the stairs before collapsing. He was crying and couldn’t talk for the next 4.5 hours” following the attack.
Shomrim said that after being treated by volunteer ambulance service Hatzolah, the boy was “taken to hospital due to swelling and marks near his chest, neck, shoulder and face” .

Someone destroyed a Jewish religious structure on the K-State campus over the weekend in what officials believe was an act of antisemitism.
Gregory Newmark, co-adviser for Hillel, the university’s Jewish organization, and an assistant professor at K-State, said the Department of Housing and Dining last week built a hut called a Sukkah as a diversity initiative to recognize the eight-day Jewish holiday of Sukkot.
The hut is a temporary dwelling meant to be a gathering place for anyone in the community and a place for people who practice Judaism to eat their meals, Newmark said. The Hillel group bought and assembled the 8-by-12-foot structure Wednesday afternoon near the Kramer Dining Center.
On Friday night, someone had carried the structure to the parking lot, destroyed it and left the pieces around the car of the organizer, Glen Buickerood, a graduate student who works on diversity initiatives for Housing and Dining.

“I guess it proves that you don’t have to be a certain race to hate people, but I mean, it’s just you would think that someone, especially from a race that has been subjected to hate before, you would think why would you want to reciprocate that to somebody else,” said student Abby Gorun.

On October 21, 2017, the Jerusalem Post and other Israeli news sources reported:
A 12-year-old Israeli boy was lightly wounded by a rock thrown by a Palestinian while playing near Abraham’s Well in Hebron on Saturday.
The IDF said it was investigating the matter and looking for the rock thrower.
Noam Arnon, spokesman for Hebron’s Jewish community, released a video showing a man throwing a rock at the well.
Arnon said the boy initially lost consciousness and fell into the water, but was rescued by friends who ran to the Jewish homes in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood to seek help. The boy was transported by a United Hatzalah ambulance to Hadassah-University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem where he received 10 stitches and underwent tests.

A swastika drawn at the Glen Park BART station Friday morning is the latest in a series of vandalism incidents on BART property, officials said.
BART police are searching for a serial vandal suspected of drawing several swastikas and writing ethnic slurs on BART property over the past week. The first incident was reported Oct. 20, BART spokesman Chris Filippi said.
Officials believe the same person is responsible for the string of vandalism due to similarities in the images and word choice. Incidents have been reported at the San Leandro, Glen Park and MacArthur stations, officials said.
A person was seen on camera at the Embarcadero Station drawing a swastika similar to the ones reported over the past week. BART police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man and have released images of the man believed to be responsible.

Alen Califano, 41, of Yonkers, was charged with robbery, burglary, a hate crime, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana, police said.
The 84-year-old victim lives at the New Jewish Home in the Fordham neighborhood, where his friend told NBC 4 New York that a new security guard let the man into the home to use a bathroom Saturday afternoon.
Instead of going to the bathroom, police say the intruder started rummaging through apartments, eventually ending up at the victim’s apartment, where he lit a joint.
Califano struck the older man with a cardboard tube and a fire extinguisher, all while demanding money from him and yelling anti-Semitic remarks, police said.

Medina expressed anti-Semitic views and said he planned to attack the synagogue during Passover, investigators wrote. He said he was comfortable with causing innocent casualties, including the deaths of women and children, authorities said.
While preparing for the proposed attack, Medina visited and “studied the synagogue property to assess its vulnerabilities,” prosecutors said.
Medina told acquaintances he wanted to make himself a “martyr” and he hoped news coverage of his planned attack would inspire other terrorist attacks, authorities said.
Medina also recorded a number of videos, investigators said, saying goodbye to his family and making threats.
“I am a Muslim and I don’t like what is going on in this world. I’m going to handle business here in America. Aventura, watch your back. ISIS is in the house,” agents reported he said in one of the videos.

A Florida man was sentenced by a U.S. judge on Tuesday to 25 years in prison for trying to blow up a synagogue in the state during a Jewish holiday last year, court officials said.
James Medina, 41, will first be treated at a U.S. prison medical facility for a brain cyst and mental illness before being moved into the general prison population, U.S. District Judge Robert Scola in Miami ruled.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation began watching Medina, who had converted to Islam, after he began expressing anti-Semitic views and a wish to attack a synagogue. They launched an investigation in late March 2016, court documents showed.
Medina, who faced up to life in prison, had pleaded guilty in August 2017 to charges of an attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and an attempted religious hate crime, court documents showed.
“This is a very, very serious offense,” Scola was quoted as saying in court by the Miami Herald.
Medina’s federal public defender, Hector Dopico, declined to comment when reached by Reuters on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities have arrested a 69-year-old man who they say was planning a mass shooting at an Islamic center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bernandino Gawala “Nandie” Bolatete faces charges of knowingly receiving and possessing a silencer without registering it as required by federal law, according to the authorities.
At a Monday press conference, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said Bolatete, “had expressed a strong anti-Islamic sentiment” and “had weaponry to carry out the attack.”
A criminal complaint released by authorities said Bolatete had been under investigation since October, when a tipster notified authorities of the alleged plot. Authorities said they immediately devised a plan to protect the mosque and to have an undercover officer befriend Bolatete, a Jacksonville resident.
HuffPost published this story less than 24 hours after the charges are were announced against Mr. Bolatete.
Why did HuffPost rush to create an original, in-depth story about this plot so quickly — yet completely ignore Mr. Medina’s plot to mount a massive terrorist attack against a Florida synagogue? Only HuffPost’s executives can answer that question.
(72) December 2017, Amsterdam, Holland: Muslim with Palestinian flag on pole breaks windows at Jewish restaurant, as Dutch police officers looked on, passively
On December 7, 2017, the Jerusalem Post published the following story:
Police are investigating the smashing of the windows of a kosher restaurant in a heavily-Jewish part of the Dutch capital by a man wearing a Palestinian flag.
The incident at HaCarmel restaurant occurred Thursday morning, hours after US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The AT5 television station showed a video of the incident, in which a man holding a large stick while holding a Palestinian flag and wearing a Palestinian keffiyah, or shal, on his head proceeds to smash the window and kick down the restaurant’s doors as passersby and two police officers look on. The officers wait until he breaks into the restaurant. They pause as he returns out to the street from the restaurant’s interior holding an Israeli flag that he took from there. He throws it at their feet. They then overpower the man and arrest him.
Contacted by JTA, an employee at HaCarmel declined to comment on the circumstances of the incident, which the Federative Jewish Netherlands group reported online with a pictures of a Dutch police officer kneeling in front of a shattered glass window, with a Star of David hanging on the restaurant’s wall in the background.
Contrast HuffPost’s treatment of this attack, to the top-line, graphic treatment it gave to accusations against Jewish civilians of harming Palestinians
Notice that in these headlines, however, HuffPost identifies the alleged perpetrators as Jewish or Israeli, and explicitly holds them to account for what they are accused of doing, by using loaded, inflammatory terms, such as “rampage,” “extremist,” etc. Also note that in each of these cases, HuffPost uses pictures of the victims in the headlines, something it never does when Jews are the victims.
(73) December 2017, Gothenberg, Sweden: More than a dozen firebombs thrown at synagogue as Jewish students were inside
Twenty one masked men have thrown Molotov cocktails at a synagogue in Sweden tonight as terrified Jewish students huddled inside.
The group of youths, who were holding a party in the venue, had to be rushed to basement until security forces arrived.
The sickening attack has taken place in Gothenburg just days after US President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel.
A mother whose daughter was inside the synagogue at the time of the attack, told Expressen GT that she received a text from her saying ‘Mum I’m getting scared.’
The group of youths, who were holding a party in the venue, had to be rushed to basement.
She said the youngsters were now “stuck” in the basement and that her daughter told her she could smell gas.
It’s not believed anyone has been injured.
Armed officers raced to the scene just 10pm local time (11pm GMT) and placed the area in lockdown after receiving reports of ‘several’ Molotov cocktails being thrown outside.
Swedish police on Monday said they were probing an attempted arson against a Jewish chapel after a similar attack against a synagogue, which came in the wake of the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Two burning objects were thrown at the chapel, located at a Jewish cemetery, in Sweden’s third largest city of Malmo, the Jewish assembly said in a statement on Monday.
The Local news website said Molotov cocktails had been thrown at the building.
Malmo police spokesman Lars Forstell told AFP that the incident is being investigated “as an attempted arson” and that the motive is unclear.

Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom on Sunday condemned the synagogue firebombing and the calls in Malmo for violence against Jews, saying anti-Semitism had no place in Swedish society.
Prime Minister Stefan Lofven has also condemned “calls for violence against Jews.”

On December 14, 2017, the Algemeiner, American’s largest online Jewish newspaper, published the following story, which quickly went viral in Jewish and conservative social media:
A New Jersey imam who delivered two violently antisemitic sermons over the last month is to be sent for “retraining,” the president of the Islamic center where he serves announced on Thursday.
Ahmed Shedeed said that Sheikh Aymen Elkasaby, imam of the Islamic Center of Jersey City, would be meeting with “interfaith scholars” who would “consult with and retrain him,” following sermons in which Elkasaby called for the murder of Jews and attacked the west for having made Muslims the “tail-end of all nations.”
“This is like sending someone to rehab,” Shedeed, the Islamic Center’s president, told The Algemeiner when asked whether Elkasaby would be dismissed from the imam’s position. […]
In a December 8 sermon made available by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), which monitors extremist groups, Elkasaby declared, “So long as the Al-Aqsa Mosque remains a humiliated prisoner under the oppression of the Jews, this nation will never prevail.”
“Allah, wreak vengeance upon the plundering oppressors!” the imam continued. “Count them one by one, and kill them down to the very last one. Do not leave a single one on the face of the Earth.”
Elkasaby also invoked a common Islamist trope about Jews in his December 8 sermon, describing the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem’s Old City as being “under the feet of the apes and pigs.”

On December 20, 2017, the Algemeiner, America’s largest online Jewish newspaper, broke this story of another U.S. imam who openly incited violence and murder against Jews:
The founder of an Islamic institute in Houston, Texas claimed that Judgment Day “will not start until Muslims fight the Jews … in Palestine,” during a sermon condemning the Trump administration’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital earlier this month.
Sheikh Raed Saleh Al-Rousan of the Tajweed Institute suggested on Dec. 8th that Jews “killed the prophets and the messengers of Allah,” according to a video recording translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute.
Al-Rousan cast doubt on claims that Jews “lived in Palestine for thousands of years,” alleging instead that Britain “brought Jewish [people] from different countries to live in Palestine. So do not tell me Palestine is the country of Jewish [people].” […]
Al-Rousan — who studied in the Islamic University of Al-Madina in Saudia Arabia, and later received a master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the Graduate Theological Foundation in Indiana — also cited a saying attributed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad, which claims that “Judgment day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews.”
“The Muslims will kill the Jews,” the imam preached in Arabic, “and the Jews will hide behind the stones and the trees, and the stones and the trees will say: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him, except for the Gharqad tree, which is one of their trees.”

On December 19, 2017, news broke that genocidal, anti-Semitic hate mail had been sent to synagogues in four Canadian provinces:
Canadian police have opened an investigation into a spate of anti-Semitic hate mail sent to several synagogues in Canada over the weekend.
B’nai Brith Canada said synagogues in Toronto, Montreal, Hamilton and Edmonton received identical letters featuring a swastika inside inside a bleeding Star of David with the phrase “Jewry must perish.”
“It’s scary. It’s obviously a hate letter,” Julian Lewin, executive director of Shaare Zedek in Montreal, told Radio-Canada on Sunday.
Michael Mostyn, chief executive officer of B’nai Brith Canada, warned of the resurgence of anti-Semitic vandalism across the country.
“Sadly, we’ve seen the swastika make something of a comeback this year, defacing the walls of high schools, university campuses, and public property,” Mostyn said in a statement. “Today, it is more imperative than ever that we condemn this symbol of racism and hatred.”

Shani suffers from fractures in her eye socket and jaw.
Tomorrow her brother will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah, and the family hopes that she will be able to leave the hospital and participate in the family celebration.
The family calls on the public to pray for the recovery of Shani Bat Simcha.

(80) February 2017, Detroit, MI: HuffPost completely ignored a hate speech against Jews delivered by notorious anti-Semitic propagandist Louis Farrakhan, at a large gathering of Muslims
The Nation of Islam held its national conference in Detroit this weekend and leader Louis Farrakhan used his three-hour keynote address to claim Jews are trying to frighten and dominate the peoples of the world.
Thousands attended the conference.
“I want to disabuse the Jews today of the false claim that you are the chosen of God — that Israel or Palestine belongs to you,” Farrakhan said, to loud cheers.
“I want to disabuse you of that. I want to make it so clear and I’m going to tell you about your future. You that think you have power to frighten and dominate the peoples of the world. I’m here to announce the end of your time.”

On New Year’s Eve 2017, a famous New York socialite allegedly perpetrated an anti-Semitic hate crime outside a restaurant, against a Jewish man, in front of his mother, wife and four daughters, part of which was caught on video. As reported by the New York Daily News:
Millionaire NFL heiress Jacqueline Kent Cooke allegedly got blitzed on New Year’s Eve, spewed anti-Semitic remarks in a Manhattan restaurant and then bashed a man bloody with her glass purse when he confronted her outside, the Daily News has learned.
Matthew Haberkorn, a 52-year-old lawyer from the San Francisco Bay Area, told The News that Cooke caused two gashes on the right side of his head after winging her $300 Lulu Guinness Chloe Mirrored Perspex Box Clutch at him during the sidewalk skirmish.
Cooke, the daughter of late Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke, was arrested over the accusations. […]
He said they were collecting their belongings at the coat check when Cooke, who was behind them in line, got annoyed and belligerent.
“Hurry up Jew,” Cooke allegedly spat, according to Haberkorn.
“What did you say?” Haberkorn’s wife Linda Thomas asked.
“Hurry up, Jew. I got places to be,” Cooke allegedly repeated. […]
Haberkorn said he went outside and confronted Cooke over the hate speech.
“I walked up to her and asked her why she said that,” Haberkorn recalled. “She took her purse, which was a mirrored glass purse, and smashed me with it.”

Rabbi Raziel Shevach, a 35-year-old father of six, has died of his wounds following a shooting attack near Havat Gilad in Samaria this evening.
Rabbi Shevach was a mohel and volunteered with Magen David Adom. About a year ago, he finished studies for the rabbinate, and was currently in the midst of studies to be a rabbinical arbiter.
The rabbi leaves behind a wife, 4 daughters and 2 sons, the younger of which is an 8-month-old baby. Details for the funeral have not yet been set.
Medics who rushed to the scene provided aid to the rabbi and evacuated him to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, where doctors fought to save his life, but were ultimately forced to confirm his death.
The hospital said that “The wounded man arrived to the hospital without pulse, not breathing, and without vital signs. He was brought to the trauma room, where advanced resuscitation efforts were employed. Unfortunately, despite the efforts, his death was confirmed.”
And from the Times of Israel, less than two hours later:
Rabbi Raziel Shevach, slain in a West Bank terror attack Tuesday night, was remembered by friends and acquaintances as a goodhearted family man who was a central figure in the local settlement community and in his home of Havat Gilad.
“He was a very special person,” said friend Yehuda Hass, who volunteered with Shevach as a medic in Magen David Adom. “Just recently he received a citation for his work in the organization. He was the unofficial rabbi of Havat Gilad.”
The 35-year-old father of six was also a rabbi in a yeshiva and a mohel.
“He was a very well known mohel here…in the area, entirely as a volunteer,” Hass told the Ynet news site. “He was a great man with a great heart.”
Shevach was shot dead Tuesday while driving down a highway near his home in the outpost outside Nablus. Israeli security forces were searching for the perpetrators.

Less than 24 hours after the murder of Rabbi Shevach, Fatah, the Palestinian “political” party behind Mahmoud Abbas, which is funded by U.S. taxpayers, publicly celebrated the attack. The U.S. Ambassador to Israel condemned Fatah, as reported by the Algemeniner, Amercan’s largest online Jewish newspaper:
A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah faction on Wednesday for its praise of the deadly West Bank shooting attack the previous night in which Rabbi Raziel Shevach was slain.

Then, on January 11, 2018, the Algemeiner published an editorial by terrorism analyst Steve Emerson that highlighted more ways that Fatah was celebrtating and glorifying the murder of Rabbi Shevach:
Fatah glorified the attack as a professional assassination from a “skilled and experienced” Palestinian.
“The Nablus operation in numbers: The full duration of the operation: 30 seconds. The distance between the cars: 20 meters. The number of bullets that were fired: 22. The one who carried out the operation was skilled and experienced, and escaped the site. The result: a killed settler,” read a post on Fatah’s official Facebook account.
The official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, also ran an article referring to the attack as a “shooting operation,” making it sound like military activity, instead of what the incident really was — the murder of an Israeli civilian.

On January 13, 2018 multiple news sources including the Jerusalem Post reported that a 15-year-old Jewish girl in Paris was attacked because of her faith:
Days after the suspected torching of two kosher shops near Paris, a Jewish teenager had her faced slashed by an unidentified assailant on a street in the suburb of Sarcelles.
François Pupponi, a lawmaker in the lower house of France’s parliament and a former mayor of Sarcelles, on Friday called the assault Wednesday on the 15-year-old alleged victim, who complained to police, “a heinous antisemitic attack.”
The alleged victim was wearing the uniform of her private Jewish school, Merkaz-Hatorah, when the attack happened during lunch break Wednesday. She was able to walk home and arrived bleeding and “shocked,” her mother told Le Parisien.
The assailant ran away immediately after the assault, the alleged victim said. She did not see his face. The assailant did not say anything before, during or immediately after the assault.
“I have no doubt the perpetrators of this attack had anti-Semitic motives,” Pupponi wrote in a statement Friday. “Faced with these acts, we need to abandon pretense and naiveté. In Sarcelles, everybody knows who is a practicing Jew according to the way they dress. Delinquents know it too. When someone slashes a young girl’s face with a utility knife, when she is wearing clothes favored by many women from the Jewish community, then there is no room for doubt.”

An 8-year-old Jewish boy wearing a kippa was attacked on Tuesday in the suburb of Sarcelles near Paris, in the second assault on Jewish children in the area in three weeks.
Local prosecutors told AFP on Tuesday that it was treating the incident as an anti-Semitic crime.
Prosecutors said the two youths attacked the boy while he was on his way to after-school tutoring on Tuesday, pushing him to the ground and then beating him. According to the victim, the assailants were about 15 years old.
French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the incident Tuesday evening, saying that any attack on a citizen over their religious identity constitutes an attack on the whole Republic.
“An 8-year-old boy was attacked today in Sarcelles. Because he was wearing a kippa. Every time a citizen is attacked because of his age, his appearance or his religion, the whole country is being attacked,” the French leader wrote on his Twitter account.
“And it is the whole country that stands, especially today, alongside the French Jews to fight each of these despicable acts, with them and for them,” he added. […]

At approximately 8:00am ET on February 5, 2018, news broke that a 29-year-old rabbi in Israel was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist:
An Israeli man was killed on Monday afternoon after he was stabbed in the chest in a terror attack outside the West Bank settlement of Ariel, the army and medics said.
He was identified as Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal, 29, a father of four from the nearby settlement of Har Bracha.
Video from the scene showed the Palestinian attacker crossing a road toward Ben-Gal, who was standing in front of a bus stop, and stabbing him.
Ben-Gal then fled across the street with the stabber in pursuit.
The military said an IDF officer identified the terrorist and pursued him, hitting with his vehicle, but he managed to flee. “IDF troops are searching the area,” the army said.

Hamas celebrated the attack
Hours after the attack, Hamas openly celebrated and justified it. As the Times of Israelreported:
The Hamas terror group said a stabbing attack that killed 29-year-old Itamar Ben-Gal in the northern West Bank on Monday was an act of resistance to US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
“Hamas welcomes such successful operations,” the terror group’s spokesman Abdel Latif Qanu said in a statement.”We wish the perpetrators and the resistance men in the West Bank all safety.”
“I wish I had died in instead of you,” a tearful Daniel Ben-Gal said on Tuesday as he eulogized his 29-year-old son, a father of four slain by a terrorist the previous day.
“We have no idea how we will continue without you, without your smile and your good face that was always radiant,” Daniel said as he looked at the shroud-covered body of his son, Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal, laid out on a gurney outside the Har Bracha yeshiva. […]
Daniel Ben-Gal said that the moments he spent studying with his son were among the most cherished in his life. His son put everything he had into teaching the next generation and worried how he could best serve them, Daniel said. […]
“What are you doing here [laid out on the gurney]? You should be in class,” said Shraga Fruchter, who heads the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Givat Shmuel where Ben-Gal had started teaching this year alongside his work in Yeshivat Har Bracha.

In the hours and days after news broke of his murder, HuffPost published a nonsensical “news” story from Scotland, about police officers who were engaged in a “standoff” against what turned to be a stuffed tiger. HuffPost was able to find this story, and decided to publish it near the top of its front page on February 7 — but gave no coverage whatsoever to Rabbi Ben Gal’s murder, and the grief of his loved ones:

(87) February 2018, Bron, France: HuffPost completely ignored a French rabbi’s baby who was burned by a chemical solvent put in her stroller — but gave front-page, sympathetic coverage to a cow that died
The baby daughter of a French rabbi was burned after being exposed to solvent placed in her carriage.
The 14-month-old girl suffered burns on her back and thighs Monday in the city of Bron, near Lyon, Le Parisien daily reported Wednesday. The baby is not in danger, according to the report.
The solvent had been placed inside a carriage that the baby’s grandmother had parked in a communal space inside her apartment building overnight from Sunday to Monday. The grandmother rushed the baby to the hospital after noticing a severe irritation on the baby’s skin after taking her for a walk in the stroller and then bringing her inside.
Police are looking into a possible anti-Semitic motive, perhaps by a neighbor, a police source told Le Parisien.

(88) March 2018, Paris, France: HuffPost completely ignored, then only briefly published a whitewashed account of the brutal murder and desecration of an 85-year-old Holocaust survivor, in her home, by a Muslim neighbor who had also sexually assaulted her caregiver’s daughter

Summary:
News broke of the savage murder of Mireille Knoll at 1:37pm ET on March 25, 2018.
At 1:42pm on March 26, Mireille’s granddaughter identified the perpetrator as an anti-Semitic Muslim man about whom she had complained to authorities, who’d been convicted for sexually assaulting her caregiver’s daughter.
At 3:34am on March 27, French authorities confirmed that the accused perpetrator is a Muslim man, that his motivation was hatred of Jews, and his criminal history.
HuffPost completely ignored the story until 7:05pm ET on March 27, when it published one story about the murder, but omitted any reference to the perpetrator being a Muslim, his anti-Semitism, or his criminal history. It was in this article that, for the first time, HuffPost mentioned the similar murder, on April 5, 2017, of 67-year-old physician Sarah Halimi, also by a Muslim anti-Semite, who severely beat her in her Paris apartment, then threw her off her third-floor balcony, to her death. As documented in Case Study 42, HuffPost completely ignored her murder.
Rather than producing an ad-free video about this story, as it does for others whom it depicts as “victims,” HuffPost chose to embed one about Mireille’s murder that featured jovial opening ads. HuffPost has a robust internal video production unit, which it uses to produce sympathetic items — without advertising — to evoke sympathy for those whom it deems as “victims.” In this case, of all the videos that were available from which HuffPost had to choose, it selected and embedded one that features jovial advertising from major American corporations, including Olive Garden, before the information about Mireille’s murder appears. HuffPost published the story near the bottom of its front page, between approximately 11:00pm on March 27, and 11:45am on March 28, after which it was removed. This contrasts sharply with the fact that when Muslims are the alleged victims of any alleged wrongdoing, HuffPost rushes the story to the top of its front page:
HuffPost also completely ignored the massive demonstration by Jews in Paris, on March 28, to protest Mireille’s murder, and the exploding levels of anti-Semitic hate and violence in France in recent years. HuffPost’s motivation may have been rooted in the fact that several days earlier, it viciously smeared Amb. John Bolton as “a raging Islamophobe” for leading a think tank that has been responsibly documenting the growing threat of Islamist hate and violence, in France, Germany, England and throughout Europe. After it removed the story about Mireille from its front page, HuffPost replaced it with (a) an assortment of salacious gossip and tabloid stories (“The 10 Sex Mistakes People Make In Their 30s”), and later, at the top, (b) two straight days of a sympathetic story about the confessed co-conspirator behind the jihadist massacre at the Pulse nightclub, whom it visually depicted as a Disney-esque cartoon character. This is typical behavior of HuffPost — in the rare instance when it covers a brutal murder of a Jew, or other people in the groups whom it views as Worthless, it only publishes a whitewashed version of the story for a few hours on its front page, then quickly removes it. This stands in stark contrast to the fact that it gives multi-day, graphic, detailed coverage to alleged wrongdoing against, or suffering of people in its Favored Groups, animals, convicted murderers, terrorists, and sad/offended celebrities. On March 25, 2018 at 1:37pm ET, news broke from Israel:
The burnt and stabbed body of a Holocaust survivor was found in her Paris apartment, in what a watchdog on anti-Semitism said was a case reminiscent of an alleged anti-Semitic hate crime.
The National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, or BNVCA, wrote in a statement Sunday that the suspected murder of the 85-year-old woman, identified by BNVCA and in the French media only as Mireille K., “is reminiscent of the crime committed against Sarah Halimi,” a 66-year-old Jewish teacher and physician, whom prosecutors say was murdered by her Muslim neighbor in April partly in connection with her Jewish identity.
According to the BNVCA, the octogenarian’s body was set on fire Friday night. Her charred body also had at least 11 stab wounds. Police have a suspect in custody in connection with her death.
The victim was found dead in her apartment on Philippe August Street in Paris’ 11th District, in the city’s east near the Nation Square. She reported in the past to authorities about a man from the same street, whom she said had threatened to “burn her,” BNVCA wrote.
A forensic examination of the apartment showed that an arsonist started a fire in at least five distinct areas of that space, the report also said.
On March 26 at 1:52pm ET, news broke that two suspects had been arrested in Mireille’s murder — and her granddaughter identified one perpetrator as a Muslim neighbor

French authorities said Monday that two men arrested for the brutal killing in Paris of an 85-year-old Jewish woman, Holocaust survivor Mireille Knoll, would be charged with an anti-Semitic murder.
The Paris prosecutor’s office said the two suspects have been put in custody. It said it was asking investigating judges to charge the pair with premeditated murder of a vulnerable person for anti-Semitic motives. […]
Israel’s Hadashot news reported that this suspect was a former neighbor of Knoll’s who was jailed for sexually assaulting the daughter of a woman who helped look after her. After his release from jail, Knoll complained that he had been threatening her, the TV report said. […]
Two men have been arrested over the killing of Knoll, whose stabbed body was found after her Paris apartment was set ablaze, police sources said. One suspect was identified as a 29-year-old man. No details were given on the second suspect.
An autopsy conducted on Knoll, who lived alone, showed her charred body also had at least 11 stab wounds. A forensic examination of the apartment showed that an arsonist started a fire in at least five distinct areas of that space, the report also said. […]
The National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, or BNVCA, wrote in a statement Sunday that the suspected murder “is reminiscent of the crime committed against Sarah Halimi,” a 66-year-old Jewish teacher and physician, whom prosecutors say was murdered by her Muslim neighbor in April, partly in connection with her Jewish identity
A granddaughter of Knoll, Noa Goldfarb, wrote on Facebook that her grandmother was murdered by a neighbor who is a Muslim.
“Twenty years ago, I left Paris knowing that neither my future nor that of the Jewish People is to be found there,” wrote Goldfarb, who lives in Herzliya, Israel. “But who would’ve thought that I was leaving my relatives where terrorism and cruelty would lead to such a tragedy. Grandmother was stabbed to death 11 times by a Muslim neighbor she knew well, who made sure to set fire to her home and left us not even one object, a letter, a photograph, to remember her by. All we have are our tears and each other.”

Leading Jewish group CRIF said the 85-year-old woman was slain last week in Paris’ eastern 11th district. The victim had reportedly escaped a round-up of Jews in Paris during World War II. The group says a neighbor who had previously made anti-Semitic statements was one of the people under arrest. They didn’t confirm reports that the man was Muslim.

Two people have been charged with the murder of an 85-year-old French Jewish Holocaust survivor, who was stabbed repeatedly and whose body was then set alight in a crime being treated as anti-Semitic, a judicial source said Tuesday.
Mireille Knoll, who escaped a mass roundup of Jews in Paris during World War II, was found dead in her apartment in eastern Paris on Friday by firefighters called to extinguish a blaze.
An autopsy showed she had been stabbed 11 times before the apartment was set on fire.
On Monday, investigators said they believed the crime was related to her religion after initially saying they were “not excluding any hypothesis.”
One of the suspects is a Muslim neighbor in his twenties whom she knew well and who had visited her that day, Knoll’s son, who did not wish to be named, told AFP.
A police source said the suspect had convictions for rape and sexual assault. The second suspect, aged 21, has a history of violent robbery.

The fact that HuffPost only allowed this story to appear for a few hours on its front page — near the bottom — sometime between 11:15pm on March 27, and 11:45am on March 28, is confirmed through these full-page screencaps from the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive):
Rather than producing an ad-free video about this story, as it does for others whom it depicts as “victims,” HuffPost chose to embed one about Mireille’s murder that featured jovial opening ads
In 2016, HuffPost publicly said that as it had achieved worldwide dominance in online “news”, its next objective was to become “the dominant global media company in video.” Instead of being the objective, nonpartisan “news” organization that it publicly insists it is, however, HuffPost videos are an extension of the anti-Semitic bias and incitement that SaveTheWest has documented in more than 100 detailed case studies.
One recent example, as documented here: When Israel announced its intent to offer illegal aliens from Africa money to go home, or if they refused, to put them in jail, HuffPost turned reality on its head by reclassifying them as “migrants” in its front page headline — even though in the video it produced for the tstory, it openly admitted they are “living in Israel illegally.” Note that this video is branded only to HuffPost, and has no advertising:
With that knowledge in mind, one can approach the editorial decision that HuffPost made in regards to the lone, whitewashed story that it produced, regarding the murder of Mireille Knoll.

On March 28 at 5:47pm, the Algemeiner, America’s largest online Jewish newspaper, reported:
More than ten thousand people took the streets of Paris on Tuesday in tribute to Mireille Knoll, the 85-year-old Holocaust survivor murdered in her apartment last Friday in an antisemitic attack carried out by two men who are now in police custody.
Gathered behind an enormous banner that declared “France Unites Against Antisemitism,” the protestors marched from the Place de la Nation to the street where Mrs Knoll had lived for several decades in the 11th arrondissement of the French capital. Smaller rallies were also reported in other French cities, including Strasbourg, Marseille and Lyon.
The rally in Paris followed Mrs Knoll’s funeral earlier in the day, which was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron in a “personal capacity.”

A 32-year-old Huber Heights man was arrested Wednesday on a charge accusing him of committing a hate crime when federal authorities said he attacked a man outside a Cincinnati restaurant because the man identified himself as Jewish.
Izmir Koch — also under indictment in Montgomery County involving a June 2016 fight on Valley Street in Dayton — remains in federal custody following his arrest on one count of committing a hate crime under the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Koch already has appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephanie Bowman, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio. […]
According to a federal indictment unsealed Wednesday, Koch was outside a restaurant with others on Feb. 4, 2017, when he allegedly yelled out asking if anyone outside the restaurant was Jewish.
A victim responded that he was Jewish and it is alleged that Koch then ran to the man and punched him in the head. When the victim fell to the ground, Koch and others continued hitting and kicking him.
The victim suffered injuries from the attack, including rib contusions and a fracture of his orbital floor – the bottom portion of an eye socket.
“Physically attacking someone because you think he’s Jewish or Christian or Muslim or any other religion is a federal crime,” U.S. Attorney Benjamin Glassman said in the prepared statement. “This office prosecutes hate crimes.”

The Jewish actor who plays David Rosen in the hit ABC series “Scandal” was called a “Jew rat,” “Kike” and “Jew fa**ot” on Twitter Sunday night for cursing out director Mel Gibson, whose latest film took home two wins at the 2017 Academy Awards.
Joshua Malina became the target of the social media onslaught after tweeting, “F*** Mel Gibson” when “Hacksaw Ridge,” directed by the latter — who is infamous for launching into an antisemitic rant in 2006 when stopped for drunk driving in LA — won Film Editing and Sound Mixing Oscars.
One Gibson fan told Malina that he should keep “art and ideology” separate, to which the actor replied, “That’s why I tweeted ‘F*** Mel Gibson’ rather than ‘F*** Hacksaw Ridge.’”

In stark contrast to this new precedent, our documentation shows that HuffPost consistently ignores, downplays or whitewashes all of the anti-Semitic hate crimes that have been perpetrated in W. Europe. Is it because the overwhelming majority of these hate crimes have been documented to be perpetrated by fundamentalist Muslims, or radical leftists, two of the groups whom it highly favors, and will go to great lengths to protect, and for whom it will even do volunteer public relations?

Scottsburg police have arrested three people, including a juvenile, in connection with anti-Semitic vandalism on a gravestone in Scottsburg Cemetery. Scottsburg resident Jarin Gladstein told police Monday that his grandparents’ gravestone at the cemetery in Beechwood Park was tagged with graffiti. Police then found two other headstones also vandalized with white spray paint.
