The purpose of this page is to present numerous examples of:
- “News” stories that appeared on HuffPost’s front page, that contained sympathetic, personalized, pictorial depictions of people and animals from around the world, whom it decided were deserving of worldwide attention. Often, these stories were left on the front page for two, three and even five days straight.
- The fact that at the same time as these stories were being so heavily promoted, HuffPost completely ignored news of Americans who were murdered, violently attacked, threatened or otherwise harmed — but whom it considers worthless. See our detailed documentation of how HuffPost consistently ignores hate crimes against these people here.
Several notable examples of this phenomenon, documented on this page:
- HuffPost devoted five straight days of top coverage to a sympathetic story of a “homesick American jihadi” — while ignoring a Marine who was being awarded the Medal of Honor, at the same time:
- HuffPost gave front-page publicity to a crowdfunding effort to raise money for a “museum of orgasm sounds” — while completely ignoring a U.S. combat veteran who was beaten nearly to death by a black mob, needed facial reconstruction surgery, and whose family urgently needed financial help.
- HuffPost completely ignored the names, pictures or personal stories of the three men who were murdered by a self-professed racist Islamist in Fresno, CA on April 18, 2017 — yet the next day, it gave front-page publicity to the tragic, personal story of “Patrick,” the elderly wombat in Australia, who died a virgin:
- HuffPost completely ignored a six-year-old California boy who suffered severe brain injury as a result of the car in which he was riding being hit by a drunk illegal alien who had been deported fifteen times since 9/11, and whose family was asking for financial donations to pay for his medical care — but one year earlier, solicited donations on its front page for a “library of orgasm sounds.” Instead of even mentioning the boy’s name, at the same time, HuffPost evoked sympathy on its front page for a rare porpoise in Mexico — and a “a queer, polyamorous kink witch.”

(1) Examples of HuffPost giving top-level coverage to sympathetic depictions of murderers and other criminals
The following is just a small sampling of HuffPost’s ongoing obsession with giving top coverage to convicted murderers, often instead of covering legitimate victims of violent criminals.
(1.1) Slide show: HuffPost’s sympathetic depictions of convicted murderers
(1.2) April 2017: HuffPost gave four straight days of sympathetic front page coverage to eight convicted murderers
(1.3) May 2017: HuffPost evoked sympathy at the top of its front page for a Ferguson rioter who committed suicide, calling it “An American Tragedy” — but completely ignored the victims of a racist Islamist’s murder rampage two weeks earlier in Fresno, CA, and more than a dozen other Americans who’d been murdered or beaten
(1.4) January, 2015: HuffPost gave two days of front-page, personalized sympathy for a death-row inmate — without notifying its readers that he was convicted of raping and murdering an 11-month-old baby
(1.1): Slide show: HuffPost’s sympathetic depictions of convicted murderers
(1.2) April 2017: HuffPost gave four straight days of sympathetic front page coverage to eight convicted murderers
On April 15, 2017, this story debuted at the top of HuffPost’s front page:
And for the next three straight days, it remained on the front page. You can see this for yourself via these full-page screencaps from the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive):
(1.3) May 2017: HuffPost evoked sympathy at the top of its front page for a Ferguson rioter who committed suicide, calling it “An American Tragedy” — but completely ignored the victims of a racist Islamist’s murder rampage two weeks earlier in Fresno, CA, and more than a dozen other Americans who’d been murdered or beaten
On May 5, 2017, HuffPost featured this story at the top of its front page. Note that HuffPost featured this man’s name and face in the headline:
Further, note HuffPost’s use of many loaded terms and biased, disjointed perspectives, to turn a “news” story into a whitewashed hagiography of a rioter who could have killed police officers or bystanders with this flaming Moltov cocktail. Editor’s notes are included as appropriate:
Edward Crawford, Man In Iconic Ferguson Photo, Found Dead, by Ryan J. Reilly, Huffington Post, May 5, 2017. Excerpt:
Edward Crawford ― the man featured clad in the American flag and holding a bag of chips as he hurled a flaming tear gas canister in what became the iconic image of the 2014 unrest in Ferguson, Missouri ― was found dead in St. Louis on Thursday. […]
Ed. According to the indictment against him, he was arrested not for merely “hurling a flaming tear gas container.” Rather, he was charged with “throwing a burning gas canister at police officers and making physical contact with (an officer), causing him to be knocked to the ground.” Further, HuffPost completely omitted the context of why Crawford was arrested. Ferguson police were being hit at the time with Moltov Cocktails at the moment.
Crawford, a father of four who would have turned 28 later this month, was still facing charges in St. Louis County Municipal Court over his actions on a summer night in Ferguson in August 2014. He participated in protests against the broken policing system in the St. Louis region following the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. Prosecutors waited a year to charge him and dozens of others who had been arrested in the flawed police response to the Ferguson protests, which brought national attention to policing issues.
Ed.: Note that HuffPost merely refers to “his actions,” without specifying any of the above. Further, HuffPost reached out to this criminal’s attorney for this story:
Crawford had been scheduled to meet with his attorney Jerryl Christmas on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. to discuss a potential plea deal, his lawyer told HuffPost. But Crawford didn’t show.
Note also that the “journalist” who wrote this story, Ryan Reilly, was arrested by Ferguson, MO police while covering the riots in which this criminal threw his Moltov cocktail, after he and another reporter failed to promptly exit a McDonald’s restaurant per police orders.
While HuffPost evoked worldwide sympathy for this criminal, it completely ignored the victims of a racist Islamist’s murder rampage two weeks earlier in Fresno, CA…
Contrast HuffPost’s top-of-the-fold, personalized, sympathetic story about this criminal, versus the fact that two weeks earlier, on April 18, 2017, a black racist Islamist, Kori Allen Muhammad, murdered three men because they were white. HuffPost downplayed and whitewashed the story, and never reported the faces, names or personal stories of these three victims — Zackary Randalls, Mark Gassett, and David Jackson, or the grief their families were feeling. Documentation here.
…as well as more than a dozen other Americans who were were either killed, or victims of severe beatings:
HuffPost either completely ignored, or gave less than 1/100th of this treatment to the following Americans, many of whom were victimized at least in part to the hatred that HuffPost helps to incite, against the U.S. military, white people, and Jews and Israel. In fact, in most cases, HuffPost never even mentioned their names, or what happened to them, in any news stories, anywhere on its site:
- Capt. Taylor Force, the beloved U.S. Army officer who was murdered in Israel by a Palestinian terrorist, in March 2016 (details)
- Ezra Schwartz, the American Jewish teenager who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist, in November 2015 (details)
- Richard Lakin, the American Jewish peace activist, who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists, in November 2015 (details)

- Chaya Zissel Braun, the 3-month-old Jewish infant who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist, in October 2014. (details)
- U.S. Army Sgt. Dennis Weichel, the beloved U.S. Army officer who sacrificed his life to save a young Afghan girl (details)
- Lance Cpl. Gregory Buckley, Cpl. Richard Rivera, and Staff Sgt. Scott Dickinson, U.S. Marines who were murdered on an American base in Afghanistan, allegedly because of President Obama’s negligent rules of engagement (details)
- Ralph Weems IV, a U.S. Marine veteran who was beaten nearly to death by a black mob in Mississippi, because of his skin color, in August 2014 (details)
- Chris Marquez, a decorated, famous U.S. Marine who was severely beaten by Black Lives Matter supporters in Washington, DC, in February 2016 (details)
- David Palmer, a U.S. Army veteran who was severely beaten by a black mob — on video — because of his skin color, in September 2016, and needs facial reconstruction surgery (details)
- Austin Freni, a white U.S. soldier, on leave from duty in the Middle East, was severely beaten by a mob that was critical of his Army jacket, in January 2017 (details)
(1.4) January, 2015: HuffPost gave two days of front-page, personalized sympathy for a death-row inmate — without notifying its readers that he was convicted of raping and murdering an 11-month-old baby
On January 16, 2015, these two stories appeared on HuffPost’s front page:
Here is the story, written about a man named Charles Warner:
Oklahoma Plays Torture Roulette With Lethal Injection, by Cassy Stubbs and Anna Arceneaux, Huffington Post, January 15, 2015. Excerpt:
The logical response to Clayton Lockett’s bloody, pain-filled, unconstitutional execution in Oklahoma eight months ago would be to prevent such torture from happening again. But Oklahoma has another idea for its first execution since Lockett’s. Instead of learning from its mistakes, the state will administer midazolam, the same drug used in Lockett’s horribly botched execution.
Barring intervention from the courts or the governor, Oklahoma will execute Charles Warner tonight. The state will give Warner midazolam as if it worked for Lockett, as if it had produced the state of “deep unconsciousness” the U.S. Supreme Court has recognized as a vital step before the other, excruciatingly painful drugs in the lethal protocol.
Curiously, HuffPost’s story makes no mention whatsoever about why this alleged victim, Mr. Warner, was on death row in the first place. Perhaps it is because his crime was so unfathomably brutal that it decided to keep it away from its readers’ awareness. From the Tulsa World:
Charles Warner is executed; here’s the story of his 11-month-old victim; Charles Warner will face the death penalty for raping and killing an 11-month-old, by Cary Aspinall, Tulsa World, Jan 14, 2015. Excerpt:
Shonda Waller left for the grocery store one August afternoon in 1997 and came home to find her 11-month-old infant, Adrianna, undressed, limp and lifeless. Her dolly eyelashes wouldn’t move. Adrianna was dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Her skull, jaw and ribs were fractured. Her liver was lacerated, her spleen and lungs were bruised.
It was a sharp-eyed charge nurse who first noticed the signs of sexual abuse, as she cleaned Adrianna’s tiny body so that her mother could hold her one last time. Her baby weighed the same as a sack of potatoes.
Charles Frederick Warner, the former roommate of Waller, was convicted of raping and killing Adrianna. The state plans to execute Warner and another convicted killer, Clayton Lockett, Tuesday at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
Warner, 46, has fought in court against recent changes to the state’s execution protocol, arguing that he has a constitutional right to know key details about the execution drugs and that the new, untested method could inflict cruel and unusual pain. His March execution date was stayed as the courts sorted out the legal issues involved with Oklahoma changing the lethal injection drug mixture it uses.
HuffPost mentioned none of those details, or even anything about his crime, in its article.
Then, after Warner was executed, HuffPost decided to give his execution the top-of-the-front-page splash headline:
Yet HuffPost has never given this kind of tribute to any of the Americans listed in Section 1.3, who were murdered or severely beaten, by the groups it champions — and as documented in the links, in most cases, it completely ignored them.
(2) Examples of HuffPost giving top-level coverage to sympathetic depictions of Palestinian terrorists
For more examples of HuffPost’s obsession with devoting sympathetic coverage to Palestinian terrorists, while ignoring their victims, see SaveTheWest’s two recent documentaries:
STW’s new documentary: “HuffPost’s Dehumanization of Capt. Taylor Force”
(3) Examples of HuffPost giving top-level coverage to sympathetic depictions of Palestinians – general
If you follow these links, you’ll find that in each of these cases, HuffPost presented the victim’s faces, names and sympathetic personal narratives:
A Palestinian journalist who alleged she was detained and interrogated (but was able to live-Tweet it):
Female inmates in an Israeli jail who alleged (with no proof) that guards “humiliated” them:
The top-of-the-front page splash headline that HuffPost gave to a Palestinian film maker who alleged he was detained for 60 minutes at a U.S. airport:
(4) Examples of HuffPost giving top-level coverage to sympathetic depictions of Islamist terrorists from ISIS, Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, others
Just a sampling of HuffPost’s far broader pattern of this behavior:
(4.1) September 2010: HuffPost whitewashed and helped evoke worldwide sympathy for one of the world’s most wanted anti-American terrorists, in part by using radical Islamist propaganda pictures
(4.2) February 2013: HuffPost gave five straight days of top-line coverage to evoking sympathy for a “homesick American jihadi” — while at the same time, ignoring a U.S. Marine who was receiving the Medal of Honor
(4.3) November 2013: HuffPost published a front page headline that assailed the NSA for breaking into “activists’” computers, when in fact its own “story” page proved they were supporters and funders of Islamist terror, including Al Qaeda
(4.4) March 2016: HuffPost published a sympathetic story about an American who joined ISIS, but then decided he’d made a big mistake, and wants to come home
(4.5) May 2016: HuffPost evoked sympathy for Islamist terrorist in Chechnya who lost his cat — but ignored the suffering of loved ones of a U.S. combat veteran who’d recently been murdered by a Palestinian terrorist
(4.1) September 2010: HuffPost whitewashed and helped evoke worldwide sympathy for one of the world’s most wanted anti-American terrorists, in part by using radical Islamist propaganda pictures
The following is adapted from detailed blog article at Huff-Watch.
On September 23, 2010 HuffPost published this item on its front page:
Scientist Gets 86 Years For Firing At U.S. Troops
If you attempt to follow the link to that story, however, as shown in this screencap, taken on March 15, 2017, you’ll find that it leads to a dead page:
We speculate there are reasons why HuffPost threw this story “down the memory hole.”
As the Huff-Watch blog noted at the time (emphasis added):
A reasonable person would ask a few initial questions upon seeing this picture and headline:
(1) Why would a “scientist” fire on U.S. troops?
(2) And why would this poor woman, whom HuffPost chose to depict as a “victim” in this photograph, be sentenced to 86 years, if she didn’t even kill anyone??
If you read HuffPost’s version of the story, you’ll discover, below, all the inconvenient truths that HuffPost neglected to mention in this “news” story and headline — which it sourced, but selectively edited, from the AP.
Thanks to the Internet Archive (“Wayback Machine”), here is the story as it originally appeared at HuffPost:
Aafia Siddiqui, Pakistani Scientist, Sentenced To 86 Years For Firing At U.S. Troops, by Tom Hays and Larry Neumeister (AP), Huffington Post, September 23, 2010. Excerpt (highlights added):
The sentence imposed on the mother of three capped a strange legal odyssey that began two summers ago, when the 38-year-old Siddiqui turned up in Afghanistan carrying notes referencing a “mass casualty attack” on New York City landmarks and a stash of sodium cyanide.
At trial earlier this year, jurors heard eyewitnesses describe how, after she was detained by Afghan police, Siddiqui grabbed a rifle and tried to shoot U.S. authorities who had gone to interrogate her. They said she yelled, “Death to Americans!” before she was injured in return fire and subdued. […]
During a three-hour hearing in federal court in Manhattan, Siddiqui claimed she had evidence Israel was behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks and warned more plots were in the works. […]
Further, as Huff-Watch blog noted at the time, other news organizations played the AP story “straight,” and included details that HuffPost omitted from its version:
Why was she being sought? Because the architect of 9/11 attacks, Khaleed Sheikh Mohammed, who began singing like a bird after interrogations, revealed in 2003 that other al Qaeda operatives were in the U.S., planning terror attacks — including Siddiqui. Combined with the fact that she was a U.S.-trained neuroscientist, meaning she could give al Qaeda the technical expertise to produce biological and chemical weapons, she became one of the most wanted women on Earth, from 2003 onward. More information, including the indictment against Siddiqui, is located at The Investigative Project on Terrorism.
Even MSNBC, not exactly a right-wing outlet, played the AP story “straight.” Breitbart.com, run by HuffPost’s original news editor, Andrew Breitbart, also played the story “straight.”
It is only after reading the Breitbart version of the AP story that one realizes how much of the story HuffPost chose to omit in its version — even though Breitbart’s version was published three hours before HuffPost’s went up. For example, all of the following was not included in HuffPost’s version of the story:
Though she was not convicted of terrorism, the government has argued that Siddiqui is a cold-blooded radical who deserves a “terrorism enhancement” under federal sentencing guidelines that would guarantee a life term.
“She made it explicit, through her own words and her conduct, her intention to kill Americans, to cause `death to Americans,'” prosecutors wrote in court papers. Prosecutors cited threatening notes Siddiqui was carrying at the time of her detention.
They directly quoted one as referencing “a `mass casualty attack’ … NY CITY monuments: Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge,” and another musing how a dirty bomb would spread more fear than death. They claimed the notes, along with the fact that she was carrying sodium cyanide, showed she wasn’t an accidental menace.
Now, another question arises: After its deceptive headline and story copy, why would HuffPost decide to run that particular, sympathetic picture in its headline?
Here is how MSNBC played the exact same AP story — using the picture that the AP provided with it, which is the same one the FBI used when it put this “scientist,” Aafia Siddiqui, on its Most-Wanted List:
Here is the FBI’s Most-Wanted poster from 2003, when Siddiqui was considered one of the world’s most dangerous terrorists:
Further, the MSNBC version of the AP story revealed other items that HuffPost chose to omit (as indicated in bold):
Pakistani in NYC gets 86 years in prison, by Tom Hays, AP (via MSNBC), September 24, 2010.
During a rambling statement to the court Thursday, Siddiqui carried only a message of peace.
“I do not want any bloodshed. I do not want any misunderstanding. I really want to make peace and end the wars,” she said.
Siddiqui said she was particularly upset by overseas reports that she was being tortured in a U.S. prison. She said she was actually being treated well.
“I am not sad. I am not distressed. … They are not torturing me,” she said. “This is a myth and lie and it’s being spread among the Muslims.”
And as the Huff-Watch blog noted at the time, rather than using the photo the AP provided for this story, HuffPost chose to use the one after she was shot, while attempting to murder U.S. soldiers — which helped to advance its false narrative, as expressed in its deceptive headline, that she was merely a “scientist,” who had merely “fired at U.S. troops.” A narrative that, at the trial, even Siddiqui herself debunked.
It should also be noted that Islamists who were protesting Siddiqui’s inarceration also chose that picture, of her depicted as a distressed “victim,” to use in their propaganda materials.
For example, according to a CBS News version of the AP story:
In Karachi on Thursday, about 400 activists of the Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami and its allied youth group, Pasban, gathered outside the Karachi Press Club carrying pictures of Siddiqui and chanting slogans against the U.S. government and justice system. “Free Aafia,” ”We want Aafia, not dollars!” the activists chanted, a reference to U.S. aid funds given in return for Pakistan’s cooperation in battling Islamist militancy.
Even CBS, however, did not explain what Jamaat-e-Islami actually is. According to the U.S. State Department:
Designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization on October 23, 2002, Jemaah Islamiya (JI) is a Southeast Asia-based terrorist group co-founded by Abu Bakar Ba’asyir and Abdullah Sungkar that seeks the establishment of an Islamic caliphate spanning Indonesia, Malaysia, southern Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, and the southern Philippines. More than 400 JI operatives have been captured since 2002, including operations chief and al-Qa’ida (AQ) associate Hambali. […]
In December 2001, Singaporean authorities uncovered a JI plot to attack U.S., Israeli, British, and Australian diplomatic facilities in Singapore. Other significant JI attacks include the 2002 Bali bombings, which killed more than 200, including seven U.S. citizens; the August 2003 bombing of the J. W. Marriott Hotel in Jakarta, the September 2004 bombing outside the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, and JI’s October 2005 suicide bombing in Bali, which killed 26, including the three suicide bombers.
A JI faction led by Noordin Mohammad Top conducted the most recent high-profile attack associated with the group July 17, 2009 at the J.W. Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Jakarta when two suicide bombers detonated explosive devices, killing seven and injuring more than 50, including seven Americans.
With all that in mind, it becomes easier to understand why there was such support for Siddiqui from radical Islamists throughout Pakistan and elsewhere, demanding her release — all of which used the same, sympathetic picture of her that HuffPost chose to, to craft its deceptive, sympathetic depiction of her:
Given all these facts, it is not difficult to understand why HuffPost would want to cleanse its archive of any trace of its original depiction of this “story” — in which it falsely depicted one of the world’s most dangerous aspiring terrorists, attempted murderer and anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist, as merely a “scientist,” and deliberately altered a source story to further depict her as a victim.
HuffPost went further, by giving top positioning to an editorial that alleged Siddiqui had been tortured by U.S. troops — a libel that she had denied two days earlier, in open court
On September 24, 2010, HuffPost published this editorial on its front page:
Curiously, however, HuffPost’s own search engine proves it has removed this editorial from its archives. A March 16, 2017 search using the string “Andy Worthington Siddiqui” returned zero results.
Perhaps HuffPost removed it because someone exposed it for having once again libeled the U.S. military, based on incendiary, false allegations — which even Siddiqui herself said were not true. Fortunately, we can discover the truth thanks to Google Cache’s capture of this editorial:
Barbaric: 86-Year Sentence for Aafia Siddiqui, by Andy Worthington, Huffington Post, September 24, 2010. Excerpts (emphasis added):
To be honest, I can hardly express sufficiently my shock at the news that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, the Pakistani neuroscientist who was rendered to the U.S. to face a trial after she reportedly tried — and failed — to shoot two U.S. soldiers in Ghazni, Afghanistan in July 2008, has been sentenced to 86 years in prison.
Such a disproportionate sentence would be barbaric, even if Aafia Siddiqui had killed the soldiers she shot at, but as she missed entirely, and was herself shot twice in the abdomen, it simply doesn’t make sense. […]
Seen this way, her sudden reappearance in Ghazni in July 2008, the shooting incident, the trial and the conviction were designed to hide the fact that, for five years and four months, from March 2003, when she and her three children were reportedly kidnapped in Karachi, she was held in secret U.S. detention — possibly in the US prison at Bagram, Afghanistan — where she was subjected to horrendous abuse.
Note that this “journalist”:
- Only referred to Siddiqui as a “neuroscientist,” mentioning nothing about the other details about her work to develop and deploy WMDs for Al Qaeda
- Ignored the fact that Siddiqui herself said, in open court, that she had not been tortured by U.S. forces, and that Muslims should stop spreading this lie — the day before this editorial was published (screencap):
Pakistani in NYC gets 86 years in prison, by Tom Hays, AP (via MSNBC), September 24, 2010 (screencap).
During a rambling statement to the court Thursday [September 23], Siddiqui carried only a message of peace.
The fact that HuffPost cleansed its archive of any instance of this “journalist” having written about Siddiqui also indicates that it never published an apology or retraction to this libel against the U.S. military. Thus, HuffPost’s original act, and this omission, could only serve to fuel the widespread protests against the U.S. military regarding Siddiqui, and may have helped to ignite physical attacks on U.S. soldiers as a result.
(4.2) February 2013: HuffPost gave five straight days of top-line coverage to evoking sympathy for a “homesick American jihadi” — while at the same time, ignoring a U.S. Marine who was receiving the Medal of Honor
The following is excerpted, and consolidated, from a detailed report at Huff-Watch.
On February 8, 2013, HuffPost published this “news” story on its front page:
Abu Mansoor al-Amriki, American Jihadi In Somalia, Has Few Friends Left, Huffington Post, February 8, 2013. Excerpt:
Once his reputation was of a feared fighter, an American-born extremist who left small town Alabama to wage war alongside Al-Qaeda-linked Somali Islamists and who called on other foreigners to join. Today, Omar Hamami — better known as Abu Mansoor al-Amriki or “the American” — has split from the insurgents, who want to kill him.
He cuts a forlorn figure: homesick, stuck somewhere in Somalia, and telling anyone who will listen about his apparently doomed career path. […]
“War booty* is eaten by the top dogs, but the guys who won it are jailed for touching it,” Amriki says in one message on Twitter. It is a sharp turnaround for a man who once issued rap videos aimed at recruiting foreign fighters. […]
“What I would like though is to have a three day visit to see my mom, dad and sister… I often wonder what this whole experience has done to them,” he writes in the book, adding he misses his daughter whom he abandoned in Egypt as a baby.
“I’d like to make a round of the restaurants and get some Chinese food, some hot (chicken) wings, some Nestle ice cream, some gourmet coffee and a slew of other foods and beverages.”
* HuffPost’s story made no mention of the fact that “war booty,” to jihadis in general, and Al Shabaab in particular, includes the women and girls that they kidnap and sexually terrorize. Here is a detailed explanation, by one of the world’s top radical Islamist preachers, Abu Ishaq Al Heweny:
https://youtu.be/m1Kh1EOKM1c
HuffPost kept this “news story” on the front page for two straight days, and on the World page for five straight days (evidence file).
As if that weren’t enough, during the five straight days of top coverage it gave to this “news” story,” HuffPost completely ignored the fact that President Obama was awarding a U.S. soldier, Sgt. Clinton Romesha, the Congressional Medal of Honor for distinct heroism in a particularly brutal firefights against jihadis, in which eight of his comrades were killed.
See details here, and at the Huff-Watch blog’s detailed article about this incident.
(4.3) November 2013: HuffPost published a front page headline that assailed the NSA for breaking into “activists’” computers, when in fact its own “story” page proved they were supporters and funders of Islamist terror, including Al Qaeda
On November 26, 2013, HuffPost published this story near the top of its front page:
HuffPost claimed that the NSA, staffed with both military and civilian employees, was “spying” on “activists” and their porn habits. An excerpt from the (original) story page:
REVEALED: NSA Spying On Activists’ Porn Habits, by Glenn Greenwald, Ryan Gallagher and Ryan Grim, Huffington Post, November 26, 2013. Excerpt:
The National Security Agency has been gathering records of online sexual activity and evidence of visits to pornographic websites as part of a proposed plan to harm the reputations of those whom the agency believes are radicalizing others through incendiary speeches, according to a top-secret NSA document. The document, provided by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, identifies six targets, all Muslims, as “exemplars” of how “personal vulnerabilities” can be learned through electronic surveillance, and then exploited to undermine a target’s credibility, reputation and authority.
The NSA document, dated Oct. 3, 2012, repeatedly refers to the power of charges of hypocrisy to undermine such a messenger. “A previous SIGINT” — or signals intelligence, the interception of communications — “assessment report on radicalization indicated that radicalizers appear to be particularly vulnerable in the area of authority when their private and public behaviors are not consistent,” the document argues.
So who are these Muslims whom HuffPost refers to as “activists”?
HuffPost knew from its own “story” that, according to top-secret documents stolen from the NSA by Edward Snowdon, these were individuals who were funding Al Qaeda, and/or spreading its hate propaganda. From the (original) story page (larger, dated screencap here):
Sometime later, however, HuffPost changed the story page headline to indicate that these individuals were “radicalizers”:
Analysis
Contrast how HuffPost whitewashed these Al Qaeda supporters and funders into “activists” to how, as documented in Section 1, it instantly and automatically assumed the worst about American soldiers and their commanders, and described them as such — even though the facts either didn’t support these allegations, or contradicted them.
Note also how HuffPost consistently refers to Jews who are merely accused of having done something wrong, as “extremists”:
In fact, HuffPost has published more than a half-dozen stories in recent years that are dedicated to “Jewish extremism” and “Jewish extremists.”
Yet when admittedly top-secret documents were stolen from the NSA that showed the agency was tracking and exposing Al Qaeda supporters’ porn habits, HuffPost’s first action was to rise to their defense, depict them as merely “activists” in its headline, implying that they were the victims in this equation.
(4.4) March 2016: HuffPost published a sympathetic story about an American who joined ISIS, but then decided he’d made a big mistake, and wants to come home
The following is excerpted from SaveTheWest’s recent documentary video, “HuffPost’s Dehumanization of Capt. Taylor Force”
“American Says Joining ISIS Was A Bad Decision”
HuffPost wrote this original, detailed, pictorial story of an American jihadi, Mohamad Jamal Khweis, who joined ISIS, but left after one month. HuffPost used its global platform to enable Khewis to spread his sad tale:
“On the way there (to Syria), I regretted (my decision), I wanted to go back. So after things didn’t work out, I didn’t see myself living in that environment. You know, I wanted to go back to America.”
While attempting to return to the USA, he into a firefight with Kurdish forces, who then arrested him.
Curiously, HuffPost published nothing by Taylor’s grieving family or friends, about their wishes, or about the things they regretted not having said to him before he was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist.
Duration: HuffPost left this story published on its front page and World page for a combined four straight days, from March 18-21, 2016.
(4.5) May 2016: HuffPost evoked sympathy for Islamist terrorist in Chechnya who lost his cat — but ignored the suffering of loved ones of a U.S. combat veteran who’d recently been murdered by a Palestinian terrorist
On May 23, 2016, HuffPost published this story on its front page:, in which it evoked sympathy for this radical Islamist “strongman,” who is notorious for his anti-LGBT actions, because he was missing his cat:
Chechen Strongman Issues Instagram Plea To Find His Missing Cat
But who is this “strongman” for whom HuffPost evoked worldwide sympathy? Ramzan Kadyrov is a notorious Islamist militant and accused war criminal, but who is very savvy when it comes to social media. Details here. And who, in March 2017 began rounding up homosexuals and putting them in concentration camps.
HuffPost gave this story top publicity — but completely ignored the suffering of the family of U.S. combat veteran Capt. Taylor Force, who had been murdered weeks earlier by a Palestinian terrorist
On March 6, 2016, Capt. Taylor Force, a beloved U.S. combat veteran, was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist in Israel. HuffPost briefly published a story about the incident, but referred to him in the headline only as “an American tourist,” and never featured his face, story, or the grief that his family and loved once were enduring. These facts were all documented in a SaveTheWest.com documentary:
Notably, HuffPost also consistently ignores the suffering of the loved ones of Israeli Jews who have been murdered by Palestinian terrorists. This includes the family of Hadar Buchris, a 21-year-old Jewish girl who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist in Israel. The following is an excerpt of a SaveTheWest’s documentary (here); to this day, HuffPost has not a single reference to Hadar in its search engine.
HuffPost also completely ignored Palestinian terrorists’ murders of the following Jews, in late 2015:
- The murders of Rabbis Aharon Bennet and Nehemia Lavi
- The murder of Rabbi Yeshayahu Krishevsky [VIDEO]
- The attack on Cpl. Dikla Mikdash
- The murders of Rabbi Litman and Netanel Litman
- The murder of Cpl. Ziv Mizrahi
Yet when an Islamist terrorist announced on social media that he was missing his cat, HuffPost had a “stop-the-presses” moment, and helped to evoke worldwide sympathy for him.
(5) Examples of HuffPost giving top-level coverage to sympathetic depictions of Muslims — while ignoring Jewish victims of hate crimes
(5.1) February 2016: HuffPost launched an entire sub-site to publicize alleged hate crimes against Muslims — even though they are among the least-likely to be victims of religiously-motivated hate crimes, and it knew or should have known that many are later discovered to be fakes
(5.2) HuffPost consistently gives front-page coverage to every allegation of a hate crime or insult against a Muslim — while systematically ignoring allegations of hate crimes against Jews, including murders
(5.3) March 2016: HuffPost falsely accused America of being “Islamophobic”
(5.4) March 2016: HuffPost gave top, sustained coverage to Muslim women who alleged they were spat on, while on a train — but ignored a beloved U.S. army officer who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist
(5.5) October 2016: HuffPost gave top publicity to a story about an alleged hate crime against a Muslim boy in North Carolina — then hid from its readers the fact that it was soon discovered to be a hoax
(5.6) June 2017: HuffPost gave top publicity to two Muslim women whose faces were disfigured in an acid attack in London, allegedly by a non-Muslim white male — while ignoring the long legacy of this practice among Muslims, as “honor crimes,” in London, and virtually all disfiguring or deadly attacks on Jews by Muslims, in Europe and elsewhere
(5.1) February 2016: HuffPost launched an entire sub-site to publicize alleged hate crimes against Muslims — even though they are among the least-likely to be victims of religiously-motivated hate crimes, and it knew or should have known that many are later discovered to be fakes
On February 4, 2016, HuffPost launched a sub-site that was completely dedicated to tracking “Islamophobic incidents,” which it defines as anything from alleged violence to unkind words:
According to HuffPost:
It might be impossible to create a comprehensive list of discriminatory acts against American Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim, but The Huffington Post will document this deplorable wave of hate for all of 2016 using news reports and firsthand accounts. The breadth and severity of Islamophobia in America can no longer go unnoticed. Enough is enough.
The entries on HuffPost’s “Islamophobia timeline” range from verbal insults to actual hate crimes.
HuffPost seeks donations to support the site, and has accepted funds from one of the most notorious Islamist front groups in America, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR); summary; detail.
January 24, 2017 update: HuffPost has now removed the Islamophobia site, and put its contents behind a registration wall:
HuffPost has not set up a similar site to track anti-Semitic hate crimes, which are far more prevalent, as a recent SaveTheWest report shows
While there are similar numbers of Jews and Muslims in America, according to consistent annual FBI data, Jews are three to five times more likely to be victims of hate crimes than Muslims. SaveTheWest compiled this data into a short infographic slide show:
“The Huffington Post’s Anti-Semitic Bias and Incitement During the Third Intifada”
Several other independent blogs have been documenting HuffPost’s endemic anti-Semitic bias and incitement as well.
Further, as STW has documented, HuffPost knew or should have known that many alleged hate crimes against Muslims in America are later discovered to be fakes:
And in a fair number of these fake hate crimes against Muslims, HuffPost played a leading role in helping to legitimize them, both through acts and omissions:
Examples of HuffPost legitimizing fake hate crimes against Muslims
(5.2) HuffPost consistently gives front-page coverage to every allegation of a hate crime or insult against a Muslim — while systematically ignoring allegations of hate crimes against Jews, including murders
As an extension of HuffPost’s “Islamophobia” sub-site, many of these items also are placed on its front page, to ensure that get maximum publicity (whether they are true or not). See a partial chronology of these articles here:
HuffPost giving top publicity to articles regarding alleged hate crimes against Muslim Americans
In contrast, HuffPost almost never publishes reports of hate crimes against Jews, as documented in the following pages:

(5.3) March 2016: HuffPost falsely accused America of being “Islamophobic”
On March 15, 2016, this “news” story appeared on HuffPost’s front page:
Hey America, Stop Being So Islamophobic
That “news” story merely led right back to the “Islamophobia” sub-site it set up one month earlier, which was rife with unsubstantiated hate crimes, a sizable number of which were later proven to be hoaxes.
(5.4) March 2016: HuffPost gave top, sustained coverage to Muslim women who alleged they were spat on, while on a train — but ignored a beloved U.S. army officer who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist
Muslim Women Say No One Intervened When Man Attacked Them
This story appeared for two straight days on HuffPost’s front-page (March 8 & March 9, 2016):
See the details of this incident in SaveTheWest’s recent documentary video:
STW’s new documentary: “HuffPost’s Dehumanization of Capt. Taylor Force” : Save The West
(5.5) October 2016: HuffPost gave top publicity to a story about an alleged hate crime against a Muslim boy in North Carolina — then hid from its readers the fact that it was soon discovered to be a hoax
On October 12, 2016, HuffPost broke an in-depth, original story on its front page, in which it alleged that a 7-year-old Muslim boy had been beaten by his fellow classmates on a school bus to the point where he had a broken arm, and no one did anything to help him. Further, it alleged that he had been subjected to other forms of harassment and abuse at his school. HuffPost based its entire story on a Facebook post by the boy’s father. At the time it wrote the story, it knew that no police report or school complaint had been filed.
This was soon discovered to be a fake hate crime, one of the dozens of fake anti-Muslim hate crimes that had been perpetrated in the preceding months.
HuffPost, however, never notified its readers, via a story on its front page, that they had been misled. Via these acts and omissions, HuffPost helped to legitimize a fake anti-Muslim hate crime that it spread around the world, and was picked up by hundreds (or even thousands) of other websites. See the full documentation here.
This was one of a series of fake anti-Muslim hate crimes that HuffPost helped to falsely legitimize. See the details at:
Examples of HuffPost legitimizing fake hate crimes against Muslims
(5.6) June 2017: HuffPost gave top publicity to two Muslim women whose faces were disfigured in an acid attack in London, allegedly by a non-Muslim white male — while ignoring the long legacy of this practice among Muslims, as “honor crimes,” in London, and virtually all disfiguring or deadly attacks on Jews by Muslims, in Europe and elsewhere
On June 30, 2017, HuffPost published this headline near the top of its front page:That headline led to this story page:
GRAPHIC: Muslim Victims Of Horrific Acid Attack Blast Police Response, by Sara C Nelson, Huffington Post, June 30, 2017. Excerpt:
Police are hunting a man after a young woman and her cousin had acid sprayed in their faces as they sat in their car.
Resham Khan, 21, and Jameel Mukhtar, 37, suffered serious burns after they were both doused in sulphuric acid as they waited in traffic in east London on 21 June.
Detectives are looking for John Tomlin, 24, who has distinctive tattoos on his face, who they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.
The first thing that is notable about HuffPost’s coverage of this story is that it covered it at all — because it has enacted a virtual blackout of all acid attacks on Muslims in England, and anywhere else in the world. Perhaps this is because, as in so many other instances, it chronically either ignores or whitewashes Islamist terror attacks and hate crimes — while at the same time, falsely legitimizing fake hate crimes against U.S. Muslims. It has also chronically ignored the fact that acid attacks are a common means employed by fundamentalist Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and elsewhere, to punish women and girls who commit “honor crimes,” such as disobeying the males in the family, or dating someone of whom they disapprove.
As USA Today reported only weeks earlier, in April 2017:
“It’s a growing problem, there’s no question,” said Jaf Shah, executive director of Acid Survivors Trust International, a London charity that supports victims, predominantly in South Asia, where acid attacks are more common.
Shah said acid attacks in other countries usually involve men targeting females. The reasons are often over spurned marriage proposals or sexual advances.
This phenomenon is also discussed in graphic detail in the recent documentary, “The Honor Diaries,” hosted by Muslim women:
Yet HuffPost left all those facts completely out of its story. Why?
And after consistently refusing to give any coverage to the proliferation of acid attacks on Muslim women, by Muslim males, and increasingly on Western soil by fundamentalist Muslim refugees and immigrants, what was so different about this particular story that caused HuffPost to position it near the top of its front page, on June 30?
The only self-evident, distinguishing characteristic of this story was that it was a white, non-Muslim male who was suspected of having perpetrated the attack. And this fits in perfectly with HuffPost’s incessant incitement of hatred against white people, based on their skin color — which it has been doing for a very long time, as documented here:
Examples of HuffPost inciting racial hatred
Further, it should be noted that HuffPost consistently ignores hate crimes against Jews in W. Europe, America and Israel, no matter the suffering of the victims and their families — just as in this case. Instead, in the days after these attacks, it showers sympathetic coverage on sad stories about farm animals, sad celebrities, and other various oddities.

(6.2) February 2016: HuffPost evoked sympathy for a former stripper who complains that her fans “sexually assault” her every day — but completely ignored a decorated U.S. Marine who was severely beaten by Black Lives Matter supporters, because of his skin color
HuffPost published this “news” story on its front page on February 23, 2016, about a former stripper who claims her fans “constantly sexually assault” her — yet who, according to its own story page, has not filed a single police report about it:
HuffPost, however, completely ignored the news that broke one week earlier, on February 16, of a decorated U.S. Marine who was severely beaten by Black Lives Matter supporters, because of his skin color, in a Washington, DC McDonalds. Details here.
(6.3) November 2016: HuffPost gave top publicity to a star who was complaining about her fame — but completely ignored the story of a black mob that was caught on video, several weeks earlier, severely beating a white man, while accusing him of voting for Trump

(6.4) December 2016: HuffPost posted a story about a celebrity who claimed another celebrity made her cry — but completely ignored the family of a U.S. military veteran whose home was torched and vandalized with anti-Trump graffiti, one month earlier
On December 13, 2016, HuffPost published this “news” story at the very top of its front page:
Kathy Griffin Claims Ellen Made Her Cry After Heated Phone Call
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the tears shed by the family of the U.S. military veteran whose home was set on fire, ransacked, and vandalized with anti-Trump and anti-white graffiti, one month earlier. Details here.
(6.5) March 2017: HuffPost urged its readers to “stop piling on” a TV host for not sufficiently attacking Trump — but completely ignored a Washington state trooper who had been assaulted and injured by anti-Trump protesters, whom it was helping to incite
This “news” story appeared at the top of HuffPost’s front page on March 15, 2017:
Stop Piling On Rachel Maddow For Not Taking Down Trump
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the fact that one week earlier, a Washington state trooper was attacked and injured by anti-Trump protesters (details here), whom it was helping to incite to violence.
(6.6) February 2016: HuffPost gave seven straight days of front-page coverage to a sad celebrity — but completely ignored a Jewish man in NY who was stabbed in the back — on video — one week earlier, in what police suspected was an anti-Semitic hate crime
Starting on February 19, 2016, HuffPost began a 7-straight-day tribute on its front page to evoke sympathy for the singer Kesha, after she lost a lawsuit to release her from a recording contract. HuffPost’s tribute began with this story, which appeared at the top of its front page:
And for the next seven days, HuffPost ran at least one, and at times several sympathetic stories about Kesha’s plight, her emotional state, etc. (see date stamps in lower right corner):
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the fact that one week earlier, a Jewish man in Crown Heights, NY was stabbed in the back, in unprovoked attack by a black assailant — on video — in what police stated they believe was an anti-Semitic hate crime:
Jewish man seriously wounded in New York stabbing; Footage shows attacker fleeing after stabbing yeshiva student in the back in Crown Heights; police believe it was a hate crime, by Ari Soffer, Israel National News, February 10, 2016. Excerpt:
A Jewish man was stabbed in the back in an apparently unprovoked attack in New York’s Crown Heights neighborhood on Wednesday morning. The victim is in his 30s, and suffered from stab wounds to his upper back.
The attack occurred at a check cashing center at Kingston Ave and Empire Boulevard, according to the JP Updates site. The New York Police Department say they are searching for a black male who fled the scene immediately after the attack. Investigators now believe the incident was a hate crime.
The proof that HuffPost ignored this story: A May 1, 2017 search using HuffPost’s own search engine of the string “Jewish man stabbed in back Crown Heights black suspect hate crime February 2016” returned zero results.
This was not an isolated incident of HuffPost ignoring a documented hate crime against Jews, while focusing instead on nonsensical “news”. The following pages contain more than fifty documented case studies from 2014 through the present day of such incidents.

(6.7) May 2017: HuffPost evokes sympathy for a singer who, in the wake of the Manchester jihadist attack, said we should have “no barriers, no borders,” and “just coexist”
On May 23, 2017, music superstar Katy Perry was interviewed on a radio show in New York, during which she offered her commentary on the jihadist terrorist attack on the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, the night before. The attack claimed 22 deaths, most of them teenage girls, and 59 injured. The terrorist hailed from a Libyan family that had obtained refugee status in England.
During the interview, Perry said:
I think, like, there, like, as much, y’know, whatever we say behind people’s backs, cause the Internet can be a little bit ruthless as far as fan bases go but I think that the greatest thing we can do is just unite and love on each other and like, no barriers, no borders, like we all need to just co-exist.
Perry’s comments went viral in conservative and even mainstream media, especially considering Perry lives inside a $19 million super-mansion in California, which is surrounded by 15 foot high walls, and is guarded 24-7 by security personnel. A view from the street of Perry’s estate:
HuffPost reacted by publishing this “news” story near the top of its front page on May 25, 2017:
Right-Wingers Blast Katy Perry For Daring To Suggest Unity, by David Moye, Huffington Post, May 25, 2017.
Curiously, HuffPost has never featured a single personal, sympathetic, humanizing depiction of any of the Americans who were murdered by Palestinian terrorists, or any of the conservative demonstrators who have been savagely attacked by radical leftist thugs.
Yet for this pop star, because she got criticized for such a statement after a terrorist from a refugee family targeted and murdered 22 teenage girls, HuffPost pulled out all the stops and gave her this kind of sympathetic, hurried reporting, and positioned it near the top of its front page.
(6.8) September 2017: HuffPost gave top publicity to its efforts to evoke sympathy for one of Hollywood’s most notoriously vulgar celebrities, who was insulted by a neighbor — but completely ignored a six-year-old New Jersey girl who was sexually assaulted in her bed by a previously-arrested criminal illegal alien
Background: “Comedian” Kathy Griffin is one of Hollywood’s most vulgar celebrities, and most recently was fired from CNN for holding up a bloody, severed head depicting that of President Trump. In Case Study 6.4, we presented how HuffPost gave top coverage to something that made Griffin cry.
On September 19, 2017, HuffPost published this “news” story at the top of the front page, emphasizing that it had obtained the exclusive to it:
In summary, Griffin’s boyfriend called the police on her neighbor, the CEO of a homebuilder, to complain that children were making too much noise. In response, the CEO launched a vulgar tirade against her, and the boyfriend, which was recorded by a security camera — and printed in full by HuffPsot:
CEO Of KB Home Calls Kathy Griffin A ‘Bald D**e’ And ‘C**t’ On Tape,by Yashar Ali, Huffington Post, September 19, 2017. Excerpt:
The CEO of KB Home, one of the largest homebuilders in the country, recently screamed sexist and homophobic slurs and profanities at his neighbor, comedian Kathy Griffin ― calling her a “bald dyke” and a “cunt” after she and her boyfriend called Los Angeles police to report an hours-long noise disturbance, according to security camera audio obtained by HuffPost.
Jeffrey Mezger has been CEO and chairman of KB Home, a publicly traded company, since 2006, and has worked there since 1993, according to his official biography. Mezger and his wife, Sandra, live in a gated community next to Griffin and her longtime boyfriend, Randy Bick.
HuffPost heavily promoted its “exclusive” story, and helped it to go viral, resulting in nearly a half-million references on Google within the first 48 hours.
On September 21, 2017, news broke that a previously-arrested illegal alien broke into a home in Trenton, NJ and sexually assaulted a six-year-old girl in her bed
As reported by the Daily Mail (UK):
Illegal immigrant, 32, ‘breaks into New Jersey home and sexually assaults six-year-old girl in her bed’; Mendoza is a citizen of Guatemala and is currently the subject of a detainer from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, by Regina F. Graham, Dailymail.com, September 21, 2017. Excerpt:
A 32-year-old undocumented immigrant was charged with sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl after her father found the stranger in bed with her in the middle of the night, police say.
Edgar Mendoza, a citizen of Guatemala, allegedly broke into a home early Tuesday morning on Bayard Street in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, New Jersey, The Trentonian reported.
Police say in the affidavit that the child’s father noticed that a light had been turned off upstairs and went to investigate. The concerned father walked into his daughter’s room to find Mendoza in her bed, authorities say.
Mendoza leaped up and then jumped from a second-floor window and fled on foot into the neighborhood, police say. […]
Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office spokeswoman Casey DeBlasio confirmed that Mendoza is in the U.S. illegally. Last year, Trenton police charged Mendoza for peeping into a home, but the status of that case is unknown.
HuffPost’s search engine proves it completely ignored this story
A September 23, 2017 search using the string “Edgar Mendoza Guatemala sexually assault six year old Casey DeBlasio” returned zero results:

Stranded Dolphin Was So Sunburned By The Time Rescuers Found Her
Yet as documented here, HuffPost ran the above story days after news broke that a black college football player who had been convicted of raping a white student reportedly told her, “That’s for 400 years of slavery, you bitch!” — about which it mentioned nothing.

Yet HuffPost completely ignored a white man who had been dragged out of his car in Chicago and beaten, on video, by a black mob, because they suspected him of voting for Trump
Nine days before HuffPost gave top coverage to the “sad-faced cat,” on November 11, news broke in the Washington Post about a black mob in Chicago, IL that dragged a white driver from a car and severely beat him, two days earlier (Nov. 9) while screaming, “You voted Trump? You gonna pay for that shit!” The attack was captured on video, and uploaded to YouTube the same day:

HuffPost completely ignored this story — and it also ignored:
- The fact that on November 18, Chicago police arrested and charged several members of the gang that perpetrated this apparent hate crime

(7.7) December 2016: HuffPost gave front-page coverage to a police dog that was dying — but completely ignored communists who chanted for police officers to be murdered, days before five were shot, and a female Trump supporter who was savagely beaten by a male leftist
HuffPost put this story near the top of its front page on December 20, 2016. It contained the dog’s face, name, personal story, and the grief that his police handlers were feeling at his impending demise.
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the following, which occurred in the preceding days and weeks:
- November 22, 2016: In Austin, TX, revolutionary communists, armed with assault rifles, openly call for police officers to be murdered; “What’s better than 12 dead cops? 13 dead cops!!” — several days before five officers across America were shot, in ambush-style attacks
- December 1, 2016: A 27-year-old male Hillary supporter was arrested for attempting to murder a 69-year-old female Trump supporter, over a “political argument”
- December 17, 2016: Pennsylvanian electors had received so many death threats from radical leftists that they were issued state police bodyguards
Going further back in time, HuffPost never provided such a tribute to any of the following Americans. In fact, in most cases, HuffPost never even mentioned their names, or what happened to them, in any news stories, anywhere on its site:
- Capt. Taylor Force, the beloved U.S. Army officer who was murdered in Israel by a Palestinian terrorist (details)
- Ezra Schwartz, the American Jewish teenager who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist (details)
- Richard Lakin, the American Jewish peace activist, who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists (details)
- American Rabbi Eitam Henkin, and his wife, Na’ama, who were murdered in front of their children by Palestinian terrorists (details)
(7.8) January 2017: HuffPost gave front-page coverage to an elderly panda that died — but completely ignored a Hillary supporter who attempted to murder a Trump supporter, and a synagogue that was smeared with feces
HuffPost featured this story on its front page on January 1, 2017:
HuffPost did not, however, feature anything about these incidents, all of which occurred within the preceding eight days:
- December 25, 2016: A Santa Monica synagogue was vandalized, and smeared with feces, on first night of Hannukah
- December 24, 2016: A Florida man was arrested by the U.S. Secret Service after he posted threats to president-elect Trump on Facebook
(7.9) March 2017: HuffPost gave front-page coverage to a story about a “disabled goldfish” — but completely ignored a Washington State Trooper who was injured by radical leftist rioters, and a Seattle, WA synagogue that was vandalized
HuffPost featured this sad “news” on its front page on March 15, 2017.
In the preceding days, however, HuffPost featured no stories about:
March 4, 2016: Radical leftist rioters injured a Washington State Trooper
March 10, 2016: A synagogue in Seattle, WA was defaced with Holocaust-denying graffiti
(7.10) March 2017: HuffPost gave front-page treatment to a bear that was killed in German zoo — but completely ignored an American college professor who was physically assaulted by radical leftists
This news story appeared on HuffPost’s front page on March 12, 2017:
(7.11) March 2017: HuffPost gave front-page treatment to a blind cat — but completely ignored a story about a conservative radio talk show host who, along with his dog, were violently attacked by a radical leftist, because of the host’s political views
HuffPost featured this “news” story on its front page on March 17, 2017:
(7.12) April 2017: HuffPost gave front-page coverage to “Patrick,” an elderly wombat in Australia, who died a virgin — yet completely ignored the Americans who were murdered in Fresno, CA the day before, by a racist Islamist
On April 19, 2017, HuffPost featured on its front page an original story that one of its “journalists” wrote, about “Patrick,” an elderly wombat, whom it discovered had tragically died as a virgin.
Patrick, Beloved 32-Year-Old Virgin Wombat, Has Died
HuffPost completely ignored, however, the names, faces and profiles of the three Americans who were murdered by a racist Islamist in Fresno, CA the day before, on April 18 (top right, and bottom row). See complete documentation here.
(7.13) May 2017: HuffPost devotes front-page coverage to a squirrel that was killed — but either completely ignored or whitewashed ad downplayed the stories of Americans who were killed or beaten
On May 6, 2017, HuffPost featured this original story on its front page:
Man Allegedly Shoots Squirrel With Bow And Arrow For ‘Giving Him A Look’, by By Hilary Hanson, Huffington Post, May 6, 2017. Excerpt:
A man from Staten Island, New York City, is facing animal cruelty charges after prosecutors say he killed a squirrel with a bow and arrow for a patently absurd reason.
Jonathan Mangia told investigators that he shot and killed the animal on Tuesday because it “gave him a look,” according to a criminal complaint that DNAInfo obtained. He reportedly said he had thrown rocks at the squirrel to scare it away from his home.
“Then the squirrel gave me a look and I took it personal,” Mangia said, according to the complaint. Mangia also allegedly told police that after being shot, the squirrel was able to flee and remove the arrow from its own body, according to the New York Daily News.
It’s unclear whether that’s true, but an environmental conservation officer spotted the animal dead, covered in blood, and also noticed blood near the window of Mangia’s property, Staten Island Live reports.
A partial roster of the Americans who were killed or severely beaten, in part because of the hate and violence that HuffPost incites, yet to whom it didn’t give any coverage, or only a fraction of what it gave to this squirrel
HuffPost assigned one of its “journalists” to write a sympathetic story about this squirrel, the posted it on its front page. Yet HuffPost either completely ignored, or gave less than 1/100th of this treatment to the following Americans, many of whom were victimized at least in part to the hatred that HuffPost helps to incite, against the U.S. military, white people, and Jews and Israel.

- Austin Freni, a white U.S. soldier, on leave from duty in the Middle East, was severely beaten by a mob that was critical of his Army jacket, in January 2017 (details)
(7.14) November 2015: HuffPost gave front-page coverage to a “lost three-eared cat” in England that was missing its owner — and an “anxiety-ridden bird” who pulled out its own feathers — instead of even mentioning a Jewish father and son who were machine-gunned to death in front of their family, by Palestinian terrorists, while on their way to a wedding rehearsal
On November 13, 2015 Rabbi Ya’akov Litman, 40, his wife, Noa, and five of their children, including their son Netanel, 18, were driving on their way to a ceremony in advance of his daughter Sarah’s upcoming wedding (November 28).
Palestinian terrorists opened fire on the Litmans’ vehicle with machine guns, killing Rabbi Litman and Netanel, and injuring the rest of the family.
From Israel National News, here is Noa’s account of what transpired:
Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Noa Litman said that the family left their home in Kiryat Arba, on the way to their prospective in-laws in Meitar, a suburb of Beersheva. “At a curve in the road they started shooting at us,” she said. “Our car was stuck on the side of the road, but the terrorist came out to the middle of the road and continued firing at us from the front. The first bullet struck my husband Yaakov. Netanel was driving, and Dvir, my other son, screamed ‘save Aba! save Aba!’ But Yaakov did not answer back – that’s when I realized he was no longer alive.”
Netanel, who was still alive, managed to get a call into rescue services, said Noa Litman. “It was too noisy on the phone so he opened the car door to get a more quiet spot, and that’s when the terrorist shot him. He fell down. Dvir still had a phone and he called for help, clearly telling authorities where we were and that two people had been killed.”
And according to this interview, and another she gave to the Times of Israel, Noa said a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance drove by after the attack, but refused to stop to help:
[Just after the attack] a Red Crescent ambulance passed by, and Noa Litman flagged it down. “But they refused to do anything. All they did was tell us to call Magen David Adom and they drove on. Dvir told them that there were injured people, but they told him in English to call the emergency phone number 101 and they left.”
See the rest of the details of the Litmans’ murders here.
HuffPost completely ignored this massacre, even though as shown in Sections 2 and 3, it showers front-page, sympathetic, graphic coverage on Palestinians – and even Palestinian terrorists – who meet misfortune.
So what did HuffPost feature on its front page in the days after the Littmans’ murders? Here is a sampling:
November 16, 2015: An original story about a sad three-eared cat in England:
November 14, 2015: The sad story of an “anxiety-ridden bird,” that “destroyed all her feathers while living in conditions of deprivation and neglect”:
(7.15) October 2017: HuffPost publicized on its front page a fundraiser for a kitten that “needs a butthole” — while ignoring a white woman who had been knocked unconscious, on video, by a black man the day before, then robbed by others who took “selfies” with her body
On October 27, 2017, this “news” story appeared on HuffPost’s front page. In summary, the story is about an effort to raise $4,000 for a kitten who “needs a butthole.” On the bright side, by 9:15pm, less than three hours after HuffPost published this story (6:24pm), the effort raised $4,585.
Tiny Kitten ‘Needs A Butthole,’ And A Cat Rescue Group Is Trying To Help
(7.16) December 2017-January 2018: HuffPost gave repeated coverage on its front page to a rabbit that was rescued from California wildfires, then released — but ignored the families of two police officers who were murdered by a multiple-deported illegal alien, who laughed at them and his victims, at his trial, several days earlier
On December 10, 2017, HuffPost published this original story near the top of its front page:
THE REAL DEAL? Second Man Comes Forward As Rabbit Rescuer In Famous Wildfire Video, by Hilary Hanson, Huffington Post, December 10, 2017.
Then, on January 20, 2018, HuffPost published this original follow-up story on its front page:
Rabbit Rescued From Fire In Famous Video Released Back To The Wild, by Hilary Hanson, Huffington Post, December 10, 2017.
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the families of two police officers who were murdered by a multiple-deported illegal alien, who laughed at them and his victims, at his trial, several days earlier
On October 24, 2014, in Sacramento, CA, repeatedly-deported illegal alien Luis Bracamontemurdered two sheriff’s deputies, Deputy Danny Oliver and Deputy Scott Brown, and shot a third, who survived.
On January 15, 2018,Bracamonte was recorded on video, laughing about the deputies he murdered and their families, and claimed he will break out of jail and go murder some more “coward” police officers. Local news media began reporting the story on the morning of January 16. One example, from the San Francisco Chronicle:
Suspect in NorCal deputies’ killings laughs in court, warns ‘I will kill more’; Luis Bracamontes on trial in 2014 killings of Sacramento County, Placer County deputies, by SFGate.com, January 16, 2018. Excerpt:
A man who was arrested in the 2014 killings of two Northern California deputies appeared in court Tuesday, laughing, smiling and shouting out that a deputy was a coward as the prosecution laid out the timeline of the crime spree that spanned Sacramento and Placer counties.
Luis Bracamontes, who was in the country illegally after having previously been deported twice to Mexico, is on trial in the shooting deaths of Sacramento County sheriff’s Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County sheriff’s Detective Mike Davis. […]
Bracamontes blurted out in court, calling the deputy a coward and smiled.
The judge then ordered Bracamontes to remain quiet and not blurt out again.
Later on during the opening statement, Bracamontes again shouted out. “I wish I could have killed more of those motherf—ers” Bracamontes said. “I will break out soon, and I will kill more.”
Other local and national news media picked up the story, as evidenced by a Google search of the string “Luis Bracamonte laugh murder deputies.”
HuffPost’s search engine proves it completely ignored this incident
A search on January 20, 2018 using the string “Luis Bracamontes” returned zero relevant results (beyond an initial story about the murders, from three years earlier):
Further, a January 20 search of the murdered deputies’ names, “Deputy Danny Oliver Deputy Scott Brown,” returned no results at all:
(7.17) February 2018: HuffPost gave front-page coverage to an original, graphic, sympathetic story about “Molly,” a pig that was adopted from a Canadian animal shelter, then eaten — but completely ignored a rabbi who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist, on VIDEO, leaving behind a wife and four children
On February 24, 2018, HuffPost published on its front page an original, sympathetic story about “Molly,” a pig that a Canadian couple adopted from an animal shelter — then ate:
Couple Adopts Pet Pig From Animal Shelter Only To Kill And Eat Her
Yet two weeks earlier, HuffPost completely ignored a rabbi who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist, on VIDEO, leaving behind a wife and four children
At approximately 8:00am ET on February 5, 2018, news broke that a 29-year-old rabbi in Israel was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist:
Israeli killed in terror stabbing attack in West Bank, by TOI staff and Jacob Magid, Times of Israel, February 5, 2018, 3:11 pm (8:11am ET). Excerpt:
An Israeli man was killed on Monday afternoon after he was stabbed in the chest in a terror attack outside the West Bank settlement of Ariel, the army and medics said.
He was identified as Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal, 29, a father of four from the nearby settlement of Har Bracha.
Video from the scene showed the Palestinian attacker crossing a road toward Ben-Gal, who was standing in front of a bus stop, and stabbing him.
Ben-Gal then fled across the street with the stabber in pursuit.
The military said an IDF officer identified the terrorist and pursued him, hitting with his vehicle, but he managed to flee. “IDF troops are searching the area,” the army said.
The following is video of the first part of the attack on Rabbi Ben Gal; the terrorist pursued him off camera and completed stabbing him to death:
https://youtu.be/0pph36H96qQ
Hamas celebrated the attack
Hours after the attack, Hamas openly celebrated and justified it. As the Times of Israel reported:
The Hamas terror group said a stabbing attack that killed 29-year-old Itamar Ben-Gal in the northern West Bank on Monday was an act of resistance to US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
“Hamas welcomes such successful operations,” the terror group’s spokesman Abdel Latif Qanu said in a statement.”We wish the perpetrators and the resistance men in the West Bank all safety.”
Rabbi Ben Gal’s funeral was attended by thousands
Rabbi Ben Gal was buried on February 6.
Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal laid to rest in West Bank settlement of Har Bracha; “How will we continue without your smile?,” by Tovah Lazaroff, Jerusalem Post, February 6, 2018. Excerpt:
“I wish I had died in instead of you,” a tearful Daniel Ben-Gal said on Tuesday as he eulogized his 29-year-old son, a father of four slain by a terrorist the previous day.
“We have no idea how we will continue without you, without your smile and your good face that was always radiant,” Daniel said as he looked at the shroud-covered body of his son, Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal, laid out on a gurney outside the Har Bracha yeshiva. […]
Daniel Ben-Gal said that the moments he spent studying with his son were among the most cherished in his life. His son put everything he had into teaching the next generation and worried how he could best serve them, Daniel said. […]
“What are you doing here [laid out on the gurney]? You should be in class,” said Shraga Fruchter, who heads the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Givat Shmuel where Ben-Gal had started teaching this year alongside his work in Yeshivat Har Bracha.
“What will I tell your pupils? They are asking me ‘Why? How did this happen?’” Fruchter said to the body of the popular teacher in his school. “People cried into the night and the morning over your death,” Fruchter said.
HuffPost’s search engine proves it completely ignored this story
A February 24, 2018 search using the string “Itamar Ben Gal” returned zero results:
(7.18) March 2018: HuffPost gave top-of-the-front-page coverage to an original, graphic, sympathetic story about a squirrel that was recovering from surgery — in Batman, Turkey — yet completely ignores Jews who are terrorized, murdered and maimed by Islamist terrorists
On April 4, 2018, this “news” headline appeared near the top of HuffPost’s front page:
Clicking on that headline brought the reader to this story page:
Squirrel Who Lost Paws In Trap Gets Prosthetic Wheels; Karamel is believed to be the first squirrel to be given prosthetics, by David Moye, Huffington Post, April 4, 2018. Excerpt:
Life is rolling a little easier for Karamel the squirrel these days despite getting his front limbs caught in a trap.
Karamel’s paws were surgically removed after the tragedy, which happened near Batman, Turkey, according to the Turkish newspaper the Daily Sabah.
UPDATE: HuffPost left this “news story” on its front page on April 5, as well.
In contrast, notice how HuffPost consistently ignores or whitewashes hate crimes, including murders, against Jews, in the U.S., Canada, W. Europe and Israel. Below are more than 100 case studies documenting this fact:
Examples of HuffPost ignoring anti-Semitic hate incidents in America in 2016-2018 (89 case studies)
Examples of HuffPost ignoring anti-Semitic hate incidents in America in 2014-2015 (19 case studies)
Further, as shown in Sections (2), (3), (4) and (5), whenever a Muslim or Palestinian meets any misfortune, even Islamist terrorists, HuffPost consistently gives their stories top, graphic, sympathetic coverage.

(8.11) April 2018: HuffPost completely ignored an Arabic speaking presumed Muslim who, without provocation, beat a Jew with a belt, on video, on a Berlin, Germany street — but gave front page coverage to a story about “Why You’ve Never Heard Of The Titanic’s Chinese Survivors”
(8.1) August 2012 — beyond: HuffPost conducted a multi-year, front-page “weep-fest” for “Pussy Riot”
Starting in August 2012, HuffPost began giving a flurry of top coverage to an all-girl Russian punk band, “Pussy Riot,” after they were arrested for barging into a famed orthodox church in Moscow, during services, then singing a vulgar song. HuffPost essentially went apoplectic over the plight of the band, and began a multi-year stream of more than a hundred sympathetic stories about these “victims,” including top-of-the-page splash headlines:
On one day alone, HuffPost had nine separate stories on its World page about Pussy Riot – at the same time. See this PDF:
2012-08-19 Wphls 1235a – 9 Refs to Pussyriot – Zero Israel by SaveTheWest
Yet when Hadar Buchris, a 21-year-old Jewish girl in Israel was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist, while she was sitting on a park bench, HuffPost completely ignored her. A search of Hadar’s name at HuffPost yields zero results. Yet a search of the term “pussy riot” returns 133,000 entries:
Here is a short video about Hadar, what happened to her, and how HuffPost completely ignored Hadar’s murder — while instead showering sympathetic coverage on “Pussy Riot”:
(8.2) February 2013: “My boyfriend demands sex and gets violent while asleep”
HuffPost published this story on its front page for two straight days, February 11-12, 2013.
HuffPost featured nothing, however, about the fact that on February 11, 2013, President Obama was awarding a U.S. soldier, Sgt. Clinton Romesha, the Congressional Medal of Honor for distinct heroism in a particularly brutal firefights against jihadis, in which eight of his comrades were killed. Details here.

On November 21, 2014, HuffPost published this original story at the top of its front page:
Former Wrestling Superstar Struggles As Double Amputee
HuffPost even asked its readers to consider donating to the wrestler’s medical account.
Yet HuffPost’s search engine proves it featured not a single news story about the fact that one month earlier, an American infant, Chaya Zissel Braun, had been murdered by a Palestinian terrorist.
Baby girl killed in Jerusalem is an American, US official says, by Ben Hartman and Michael Wilner, The Jerusalem Post, October 23, 2014. Excerpt:
Three-month-old Chaya Zissel Braun, the baby girl killed today in Jerusalem during a vehicular terrorist attack, was an American citizen, a US official confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday night.
The girl was thrown from her stroller as a car swerved into the Ammunition Hill light rail station, injuring seven others. […]
The suspected perpetrator has alleged ties to Hamas, Israeli officials say. “This is a natural response to the crimes of the occupation and invasion of our land by the Jews,” Hamas spokesman Hossam Badran said in response to the attack.
His grandaughter flew 10-20 meters in the air before landing headfirst on the pavement, Shimshon Halperin said Wednesday night.
(8.4) September 2015: HuffPost created a front-page splash headline to evoke sympathy for “the boy with 46DD breasts” — but completely ignored two incidents of violent attacks on Jews in New York
On September 23, 2015, HuffPost published this as its splash headline:
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the fact that two weeks later, on October 11, 2015:

Projectiles were thrown from a mosque at an Orthodox Jewish woman and her infant child, in Brooklyn, NY (details)
(8.5) April 2017: HuffPost evoked sympathy on its front page for a woman who got her hand stuck in a toilet — but completely ignored a white couple in Virginia who were violently attacked without provocation, in front of witnesses, by a black woman who said she’s “sick of fancy white people”
On April 19, 2017, HuffPost featured on its front page the sympathetic story about a woman whose hand got stuck in a toilet:
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the fact that two weeks earlier, on April 4, 2017, a black woman in Virginia who violently attacked a white couple, in front of witnesses, because she said she’s “sick of fancy white people”:

The victim, identified by WTVR.com only as Bob, had stopped at the station on his way home from Florida with his wife Katherine when he was allegedly approached by a screaming Jones.
“This lady was a couple pumps over and talking to me and yelling at somebody about having a message for her. I had no idea what she was talking about,”Bob told WTVR.com. […]

(8.6) August 2014: HuffPost evoked sympathy on its front page for “a fat girl who wears revealing clothes” — but completely ignored a white Marine veteran who was beaten nearly to death by group of black men, because of his skin color
HuffPost put this news story on its front page for two days straight, from August 25, 2014 to August 26, 2014:
I’m A Fat Girl Who Wears Revealing Clothes. Deal With It.
Yet HuffPost never published a single word about a Marine combat veteran, Ralph Weems IV, who had been beaten nearly to death several days earlier by a mob of black males in Mississippi, because of his skin color. HuffPost’s primary wire source, the AP, reported the story on August 24. See the details here.
(8.7) September 2015: HuffPost gave three straight days of front page sympathy to a man who had a lonely bachelor party — but completely ignored a Palestinian terrorist attack on five American Jewish students
For three straight days — September 5, 6 and 7, 2015 — HuffPost featured this sympathetic story on its front page:
Guy Has World’s Loneliest Bachelor Party After Friends’ Flights Get Canceled
Yet HuffPost completely ignored the fact that two days earlier, on September 3, 2015, the AP (its primary wire service) reported that five American rabbinical students were attacked by Palestinian terrorists with firebombs
American students attacked with firebomb in West Bank, Associated Press (via Fox News), September 3, 2015. Excerpt:
Israeli authorities say five American students escaped serious harm after their car was firebombed in the volatile West Bank city of Hebron.
Officials said the ultra-Orthodox seminary students were on their way to pray at a holy site when they took a wrong turn and accidentally entered a Palestinian neighborhood. The car was pelted with stones and a firebomb and went up in flames.
Police said the students got out of the vehicle and were rescued by a Palestinian resident who alerted Israeli authorities to evacuate them. Two students were lightly wounded.
The Jerusalem Post tweeted this picture of the remains of these students’ car:

(8.8) May 2017: HuffPost gave top publicity to help raise money for a “library of orgasm sounds” — but completely ignored a fundraiser for a six-year-old California boy who suffered severe brain injuries as a result of an auto accident that was caused by a drunk illegal alien who had been deported at least fifteen times since 2002
On May 20, 2016, HuffPost published this “news” story, with a solicitation for donations, near the top of its front page:
There’s A Library Of Orgasm Sounds, And It Needs Donations (NSFW)
May 2017: A GoFundMe campaign was initiated to help raise money to pay the medical expenses of six-year-old Lennox Lake, who was nearly killed in an auto accident that was caused by a drunk illegal alien who had been deported at least fifteen times since 2002
On May 9, 2017, news broke in California that a family returning from a Disneyland vacation had been in an auto accident that was caused by a repeatedly-deported illegal alien, and that their six-year-old son, Lennox Lake, had suffered severe injuries.

Lennox was strapped into a car seat in the backseat. His mother found Lennox unconscious from the impact. He added, “the first thing he (Lennox) asked was if mommy was okay.”Lennox suffered a long list of injuries, some including a fractured skull and bleeding from his nose and ears.
Lennox’s family set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for his medical expenses:
HuffPost’s search engine proves it completely ignored this story, and fundraiser
A May 12 search using the string “Lennox Lake Disneyland” returned zero results:
Instead of publishing a single word about Lennox, what happened to him, who did it, and the fundraiser his family had initiated to help pay for his medical expenses, here is a sampling of the “news” stories that HuffPost published on its front page, in the three days after this story broke, May 10-12:

Less than one month earlier: HuffPost’s new editor claimed it has “a new mission ― to tell the stories of people who have been left out of the conversation”
On April 25, 2017, newly-installed HuffPost editor Lydia Polgreen wrote an editorial that appeared at the top of HuffPost’s front page, the subhead of which claimed:
We’ve got a new name, look and mission ― to tell the stories of people who have been left out of the conversation.
Unfortunately, HuffPost has decided that neither Lennox nor his family or loved ones deserve to even be acknowledged, anywhere on its site.
UPDATE May 16, 2017: HuffPost continues to ignore Lennnox’s story, and the fundraiser for his medical expenses — but is giving sympathetic coverage on its front page to a “queer, polyamorous kink witch”
A May 16, 2017 repeat of the search string “Lennox Lake Disneyland” at HuffPost reveals it is still completely ignoring his story.
The same day, however, this is one of the sympathetic “news” stories that appeared on its front page:
Here’s What It’s Like To Be A Queer, Polyamorous Kink Witch
UPDATE May 23, 2017: HuffPost continues to completely ignore Lennox’s story and fundraiser. Here, however, are some of the sympathetic stories that it decided to run on its front page, instead:

(8.9) “Here’s What Having A Micropenis Is Really Like”
On March 6, 2016, HuffPost published this story for the third straight day on its front page:
“Trump’s Dick Aside, Here’s What Having A Micropenis Is Really Like”
(8.10) March 2018: HuffPost enabled its “deputy editor” to whine at the top of its front page, for two straight days, over all the sex she lost, when CraigsList removed sex ads, as a result of national legislation to help stop human trafficking online — while ignoring news of Islamist terrorism, racist incitement by Louis Farrakhan and his enablers, and other actual news
Background
On March 21, 2018, the Senate passed a bill, on a huge, bipartisan basis (97 to 2), already passed in the House, designed to help stop human trafficking, especially forced child prostitution, on websites such as Backpage an CraigsList.
On its front page, HuffPost condemned the bill, on the bizarre notion that if enacted, this bill would cause more women to be killed.
This incident
On March 23 an 24, 2018, HuffPost positioned this “news” story near the top of its front page:
Clicking on that headline brought the reader to this page:
A Eulogy For Craigslist’s ‘Casual Encounters,’ And All The Sex I Found There, by Emily McCombs, Huffington Post, March 24, 2018. Excerpt:
I don’t remember when I first discovered Craigslist, the free, community-driven classifieds website where people could find a new apartment or a free bike as easily as they could find someone to sleep with. But I remember my first “Casual Encounter,” as a freshman in college.
Not the guy ― he blurs hazily into memory as one of the many generic men I’ve summoned from the Internet over the years. What I remember is the dawning sense of power, the realization that I could order up sex, when desired, as easily and quickly as a pizza. He came to my dorm room and we rode up in the elevator together. I never even had to bother to put on shoes.
The following, however, is a sampling of actual news stories that HuffPost ignored during this period, while giving its bizarre “eulogy” two days of top-of-the-front-page coverage:
Stories that emerged within the previous 48 hours — but to which HuffPost gave zero coverage, as part of its ongoing pattern of ignoring the hate, incitement and violence against certain groups — and anything that deviates from its anti-gun agenda:
(61) March 2018, Trebes, France: HuffPost completely ignored an ISIS-affiliated Islamist terrorist who attacked a supermarket, murdering three, while screaming “Allahu Akbar!”
(2.25) March 2018: HuffPost completely ignored the news that a man drove an explosive-laden truck into Travis Air Force Base in California, then detonated it, killing himself and triggering a terrorist investigation — and instead gave top coverage to a former porn star who says she feels “threatened” by disclosing her alleged relationship with President Trump, 12 years ago
(1.25) March 2018, Virginia Beach, VA: HuffPost completely ignored news that a man was arrested for threatening to murder a Congressman and two of his staffers
(4.3) March 2018: HuffPost ignored the celebrated heroism of a school resource officer who shot and killed a teenage gunman who was attacking students at a Maryland high school
(3.69) BIAS: HuffPost gave top coverage to falsely smearing Amb. John Bolton as being “an anti-Muslim hater,” and “a raging Islamophobe” — yet has completely ignored the venomous, violence-inciting racist and anti-Semitic rants of Louis Farrakhan
(3.35) HuffPost completely ignored the anti-Semitic conspiracy theories voiced by a black Congressman, after he was exposed for his ties to Louis Farrakhan — while continuing to claim white people are racists
(3.36) After a series of bombings in Austin, TX, HuffPost published on its front page an allegation that they were due to white racism, and another that the bomber was a conservative — but buried his recorded confession that he was motivated by neither politics or race
(37) HuffPost completely ignored a black radical Islamist who murdered his wife and 8-year-old daughter, and attempted to murder his son, while yelling, “Allahu Akbar!”
Jewish man films his own anti-Semitic attack as he is assaulted with a belt in Berlin by a man ‘shouting the Arabic word for Jew’ in attack that has sparked outrage in Germany, by Sara Malm, Daily Mail, April 18, 2018. Excerpt:
This is the shocking moment a Jewish man captured his own anti-Semitic attack on the streets of Berlin yesterday.
Adam Armush, 21, says he and a friend were walking down the street wearing kippas when they were sworn at by three unknown men, who assaulted them when they asked them to stop.
The video, recorded on his mobile phone and published by Bild, shows a young man viciously beating him with a belt while shouting ‘Yahudi’ – ‘Jew’ in Arabic.
Adam Armush, 21, was able to film on his mobile phone as another young man viciously beat him with a belt while shouting ‘Yahudi’ – ‘Jew’ in Arabic in Berlin yesterday
HuffPost completley ignored this story
What did it feature on its front page?
On April 18, 2018, the following story appeared on HuffPost’s front page:
Here’s Why You’ve Never Heard Of The Titanic’s Chinese Survivors; A century ago, a racist press muddied their names when it didn’t ignore them entirely, by Kimberly Yam, Huffington Post, April 18, 2018.
